Colton took me up to his room with him and gave me a shirt to put on to sleep in. I used his bathroom to get changed.

Once I had slipped out of the dress I put the long shirt on. It went to mid thigh on me because I was so small.

I found makeup wipes in the draw which made me laugh a little. How many other women had been in this shirt...

As I dried my face off I looked at myself. My whole face was red and puffy from tears. It was a scary sight but something told me I would see this a lot more now.

I looked down at the ring and almost couldn't believe that it was true. Just a few weeks ago I was dreaming about the perfect summer. Now here I am with a ring on my finger.

Walking out into the bedroom I saw Colton talking on the phone outside on the balcony. I didn't pay attention to him I just went to the bed. I grabbed a blanket and a pillow and put them on the couch for myself. I got under the blanket and rested my head on the pillow before closing my eyes.

Colton talked on for a few more minutes before I heard him hang up. There was some moving around and ruffling of the sheets so I just thought he went to bed. Thank god for that.

But my luck wasn't great.

I felt my body being lifted off the couch and carried somewhere. I opened my eyes to come face to face with Colton's chest. As I slid my eyes up I saw him looking down on me.

He got into bed and sat me so that my legs were wrapped around him again.

"I am fine on the couch." I said softly that I didn't hear myself at first.

"Your not sleeping on the couch."

"I want to."

"Well I don't care." Yeah something tells me you don't care about much.

I turned my head so that he wouldn't see me cry. I didn't want to give him the Satisfaction of seeing me cry

"You looked beautiful tonight by the way."

"If this is your way of playing the good guy act then cut it" I hissed facing him. "I only said yes to you tonight because you threatened my family and my life. Don't think for one second it was because I actu-" he threw my body till he was on top of me holding my throat down.

I grabbed his hands trying to breath as he stared down at me hard. "Don't think for one minute that I actually give a shit baby. You will learn to love me and how to be a good little girl."

I started kicking trying to get some air but he just trapped my legs between his.

I whimpered squeezing his arm hoping that he will stop. Or just choke me till I'm gone for good.

He released me and I took in the biggest gasp of air choking a little to as I did.

He pulled me so that I was laying on his chest just like he wanted.

"Go to sleep." He kisses the top of my head but I couldn't help the sobs that left my mouth. I felt Coltons hands run up and down my back as he tried to calm me down but I couldn't. I must have cried myself to sleep because the last thing I remember was me hiccuping from how much I cried.

My eyes opened when I turned into the sunlight. I looked out the window that was in front of me. It was a new day.

I heard ruffling and sat up to see Colton getting dressed. He turned to face me as he buttoned up his shirt.

"I have a few meetings today. I shouldn't be long but till I come back your free to walk around and relax if you want."

"I want to go home."

"I want more time with you." He stopped what he was doing to make sure I knew what he said was final.

God why did he have to be so damn stubborn.

"Can you hand me my tie." He said pointing to the tie that was next to me on the nightstand.

I grabbed it and crawled to the end of the bed where he was standing. He tried to take it from me but I put it around his head and started tying it for myself. He watched silently as I did my work.

Once I was done I moved away from being that close to him and pulled the covers back around me.

"I'll have Red bring you some clothes up. I would like to take you out to eat tonight. Just me and you."

I nodded my head and looked down at the blankets.

He finished getting ready and I could hear him walk over to my side of the bed. He lifted my head pulling my chin up to look at him.

I saw him come closer and I looked down but quickly remembered he didn't like that. I looked back up to him and saw him just looking at me. What was he trying to find?

"I'll see you tonight." He let go of my face and walked out leaving me here alone.

After an hour I got bored and wanted to get up and walk around. As I opens the door I was shocked to see a decently tall and buff man standing to the side.

When he noticed me he stood up straight.

"Ma'am I'm Axle your bodyguard."

"I'm guessing Colton put you on babysitting duty?"

"It's not like that Ma'am" he said not looking down at me.

"Call me Ruby. Ma'am makes me feel old." I saw a smile want to leave his lips but he cleared his throat.

"Of course."

"You can laugh you know. I won't tell on you." He relaxed a little and looked at me now.

"You're a lot different then Colton."

"You mean I don't have a stick up my ass?" Now we both were laughing.

"Anyway you want to show me around this place. Like the kitchen because I'm hungry." He laughed and motioned for me to follow him. We walked through the house together going around as he showed me some of the room on the way.

Once we made it to the kitchen he asked the cook to make me some breakfast and sat with me as I ate.

"So I was told that A girl by the name Red would have some clothes for me?"

"Oh right she just went to the mall to grab some things."

"Does she even know my size?"

"Colton gave it to her."

This man was all sorts of creepy. How the hell did he know my size and all.

"I hate malls!" We heard followed by a slam of a door.

"Speak of the devil and she shall appear." Axle sighed getting up. I stayed there finishing up my eggs and was shocked to see a pretty red haired girl walk in seconds later.

She walked over to me with Axle not to far behind her.

"You must be Ruby."

"You must be Red."

She put a few bags down in front of me before sitting next to me throwing her gun down on the table as well.

"I'm one of Coltons goons. So is Axle." She put her hand out to me and I took it looking into her bright green eyes.

"Gotcha." I didn't want to know what they did. Something told me it wasn't good either way.

"So are you like his new toy for the weekend or?" I would say that hurt me but to be honest it didn't. I knew Colton probably was a player and I don't expect him to give that up.

I held up my hand and both her and Axle zoomed into the ring.

"Holy shit." They both said at the same time.

"Wait so you're the one." Ruby said softly confusing me a little.

"What do you mean?" She stared at the ring for a couple more seconds before putting on a smile.

"Why don't we finish up showing you the house?"

She was quick to change the subject and move on. I didn't push it because frankly she was kinda scary but not to bad. I knew she was a good person truly. Same for Axle. They both were nice shocks me they work for Colton.
