We reached towards the cake.Then Dimitri went towards Ashton and I towards my friends.

Liam and Emma were as usual indulge in their own thoughts of love. While Stacey was capturing every moment of this party in her phone. So I went towards my best friend, Cassie. Who was standing alone.

"Hey, where is Aaron?" , I asked her.

"Oh he just went home some family issue" She said and shrugged. I just nodded.

"Soo who was that hot guy you were with?" She asked while raising her eye brow with curiosity. That's our typical Cassie.

"He's Ashton's cousin Dimitri,we just met a while ago near the pool." I said in a casual tone.

She just nodded.

Then it was cake cutting time. Ashton stood near the cake with his friends around. He blew the candles and as he cut the cake lots of cheering started and we all sang the 'happy birthday song' for him in a teasing tone to which Ashton groan.

Then Ashton took a piece and place it infront of his mouth but before he could devour it ,one of his friend grab it from his hand and spread it all over his face. And Ashton groaned.

Laughter burst through out the crowd

Now, Ashton was looking like a cake himself.

Soon there was a cake war began. Everybody started throwing cake on each other, while laughing.

I dodge some but one hit my left cheek. And I groan. Cassie laughed at my irritated expression.

"What the hell is happening here?" A voice spoke loudly and everybody got silent. And turned towards the person.

It was none other than Veronica, with her gang. She has a shock expression seeing all of us in this state.

Cassie tap my shoulder and I turned towards her and saw mischief in her eyes. She looked at Veronica then at the cake in our hands. I smirked and nodded at her in understanding.

Right person, wrong timing.

"On the count of three" she whispered in my ear and I nodded .

Two

Three!!

And with that we throw the cake on Veronica but luckily she dodged Cassie's shot. And it went Straight on Emily's face.

Veronica then started laughing seeing Emily ,but her laughter stopped when another piece of cake hit her directly on the face. Which was thrown by me.

She turned towards me and glared. While I just smirked. Again laughter erupted. Everybody then went to clear themselves.

Veronica came towards me taking long thrides. Still glaring. While I was holding back my laughter at her messed up face.

"You will pay for ruining my make up, Aveliene" She spoke through gritted teeth.

Before I could reply someone interrupted. I looked and see it was Dimitri and there was no sign of cake on him.

"I think you look still good in this state also." He said in his deep voice which could make any girl flattered, but I could see amusement filled in his eyes.

"Thank you" Veronica spoke in her fake sweet voice and her cheeks were pink. I think she didn't notice the lack of seriousness in Dimitri's voice. She then went towards the washroom. Not before giving me a last glare and then flirtingly blinking her eyes towards Dimitri to which I rolled my eyes.

I looked towards Dimitri and he handed me a tissue ,I wipe my face and thanked him for his chivalrous act.

"You shouldn't have said that ,now she will drool around you like a fly." I said.

He smiled and said,"I have seen many girls like her don't worry I will manage." I did not doubt his sentence cause his looks can already prove that girls would throw themselves at him.

I then took his leave and went to Cassie who was talking with Ashton.

We chatted for a while. And time flew. I checked my phone it was nearly midnight so I decided to leave.

"Ashton again a very happy birthday." I said and he hugged me muttering a thanks.

"And also thanks for understanding, I am happy every thing is back to normal between us" I whispered in his ear. To which he smiled and nodded.

Emma and Liam and already left while. Cassie and Stacey will leave after sometime, as Stacey was busy talking about her latest dresses with some other girls.

I went towards my car and saw Dimitri standing near it while scrolling down his phone. I think he is also leaving.

"Hey, Dimitri are you leaving?" I asked him.

"Yeah, actually Ashton was insisting to stay a longer but I have some meetings tomorrow so I am leaving. Are you leaving too?" He asked.

"Yeah, it's high time so I am leaving." I replied. We then fell in silence.

"Sooo can I got your number.Afterall we are friends now and we can keep in contact." Dimitri asked.

We exchanged our numbers. And then I sat inside my car.

"See you soon, Aveliene" Dimitri said in his low deep voice but I heard it. And then speed off to my house.

She has left the party, I think she is going home" , I heard my man spoke on the phone.

"Follow her and keep me updated", I said firmly.

"Okay Sir", I then ended the call.

"Enjoy as much as you want Aveliene Lawrence because sooner you will be trapped in your never ending nightmare." I whispered and smirked.
