《MC's Viking Warriors- Rogue #5》Liam

I have been travelling now for days, hardly stopping beyond eating or sleeping, and it felt amazing. It was just me, just me and my bike, no responsibilities, no expectations and no little sisters.

Even though I tried to ignore my family, I couldn't ignore my mother. She always struggles with attachment and I would never want to hurt my mother, aside from anything, my father would kill me if I did.

When I see the sign for Calgary, I curse and pull my bike to a stop on the quiet road. I can't enter this territory, in this place I would be an enemy, a threat and the Black Wolves would take delight in taking the future president of the Viking Warriors hostage.

Spinning around, I let my engine roar and I head away from the town, it's not worth the risk. Suddenly, I hear the roar of another bike and I curse, I'm being followed by a small army of men. It seems that in the recent months that I have been distracted by the stupid challenge of my little sister, the Black Wolves have extended their land... I'm now a trespasser and a threat.

I know that I have fucked up. I also know that there is no way I'm going to escape these men. Sighing, I pull over, stand from my bike and hold my hands up above my head in surrender.

"I'm not a threat," I call out as the bike engines silence, "this was just a mistake, I didn't realise this was your territory."

"Really!" A man called out from in front of me, from his cut I know that he's the most ferocious president of all motorcycle clubs, and I've pissed him off. "So you accidentally have been in my territory for the last two days?"

Two days? Shit, I really need to pay more attention at the meetings, this club must have grown exponentially these last few months, and I have been inadvertently pissing them off for two days.

"Look," I call out again, the men begin to advance towards me, "I swear I didn't know, I'm not a threat I-"

It seems that my words weren't believable, because a bag comes from behind and smothers my face. My vision is plunged into darkness and the stench of decaying blood fills my nostrils. When was the last time they washed this thing?

I struggle and swear, yelling to no one and everyone that I'm not a threat, that this was a mistake but they don't listen. They don't respect me, I'm not a president and now, because of my stupid sister, I'm never going to be one.

"Shut up!" A voice roars as I call out and struggle, a blunt instrument, probably a fist, slams into my face and I feel the crunch of a broken nose before everything goes even more dark than before.

Groaning, I feel pain exploding behind my eyes as I try to open them. The light that begins to burn my retinas tells me i no longer have a bag on my head.

"Morning sleepyhead," a booming voice causes my headache to grow even worse than before, I didn't even think that was possible.

"I was hardly sleeping, you knocked me unconscious!" I protest as I squirm on the filthy metal chair that I have been tied to.

The man laughs and I squint, he's probably no older than me, but he's got a smarmy expression on his face and it makes my blood boil.

"Look, the president wants to talk with you, properly, and then he will negotiate with you about your freedom."

"Funny," I scoff, "I thought freedom was a non negotiable human right."

"Not for a self entitled prick like you."

The man laughed and eased back on his chair when heavy footsteps sounded from the hall and I immediately tense.

"So, you're awake then?"

Why is everyone acting like a fell asleep at a play or something? They beat me unconscious and I only just recovered enough to wake up, this isn't a happy accident.

"Yep, and I'd like to be untied." I demand, my arms are really starting to hurt from this odd angle.

"No." The president replies as the man stands from his chair so he can sit down opposite me. It makes me feel les intimidated so that's something I guess.

"I meant it when I said this is all a big misunderstanding, an accident."

"I realise that's what you said, but I don't believe you."

The president leant forwards and rested his arms on his knees, his eyes staring me down.

"So tell me then, how this accident happened."

"Fine," my tone is curt, my head is killing me and I'm pissed.

"I left my old club-"

"You've gone rogue?" The man who watched me come around jumped in, I get why. It's unusual to ever leave your club, let alone when your father is the president: not that I'll ever tell them that.

"Yes, I needed to leave, so I did. I swear I didn't know that this was your territory now, the last I knew, your territory began at Calgary."

"Really?" The president began to laugh at my stupid mistake. "How the hell did you miss that?" His laugh began to turn from humour to a cold disbelief.

"And how stupid do you think I am?"

"Well, I don't exactly know you but I'm guessing not very stupid..."

"Huh, I guess you're the stupid one... or you're just that arrogant."

"Look!" I exclaim, "I was drunk, really drunk!"

"For the last three months!"

"Yes!"

"Yeesh," exclaims the man, who is now leaning on the back wall.

The president scans me and then stands without a word. Shit, this isn't good. If I die here at least my parents won't know.

"Look," he raises an eyebrow as he goes to speak my name, I shake my head. That name belongs to the Viking Warriors and I need to leave that behind me.

"Fine, look, rogue for some reason, I believe you."

"What?" I try to stand, forgetting my hands were bound to the chair and it flips over. I hit the floor with a curse and pain explodes behind my eyes again.

I hear laughter as I try to open my eyes again, this has been a really shit day.
