"Well! Look at what we have here!"

My entire body jumped at the loud voice that belongs to my best friend, who is staring down at me with a massive grin on her face. And standing right next to her, with a matching grin, is her girlfriend. Oh great.

"So, you're a werewolf, huh?" Nina questioned with a raised brow and crossed arms. Of course, Eva will tell Nina about Lysander. I'm not even mad. I trust Nina. However, I am a bit surprised that she didn't blow her top about it.

The werewolf. His arms are currently around my waist and my face was hidden in his chest. Mind you, we weren't wearing a blanket but it was so comfortably warm that I never wanted to move. His face is buried against my neck, and he didn't make any sudden move as the two ladies gawked at us.

"Um." My throat suddenly felt dry, unable to utter an explanation about the sight. "We -- I didn't -- We weren't -- "

Nina and Eva laughed at me. "Come on. Breakfast. Let's talk." They headed to the kitchen.

Hesitantly, I looked back at the sleeping werewolf. I knelt down to the blanket covered floor where we slept, and poked his arms to see if he's still sleeping. When he didn't budge, I took it that he is indeed sleeping still. Then I was abruptly pulled down back to the floor, with my face once again meeting Lysander's chest. His arms sneaked around me and I was held against him tightly.

"Wake up." I struggled to say, due to how tight he held me. The boy didn't even move. It's like he immediately went back to stage 4 of nREM sleep. "Lysander."

"Hmm." He hummed quietly, nuzzling his face on my neck.

My face heated up completely. "Breakfast. Eat. Now."

"You?"

"What?!"

He opened his eyes and sat up, releasing me from his grasp. "What?" He smiled innocently, running a hand through his hair. "Is that food I smell?" He instantly stood up and ran towards the kitchen, not even bothering to wear a damn shirt.

Okay then.

"And so I ran to the forest and found him as a wolf. There were three people who almost found us, if it wasn't for Doctor Maxine. She arrived exactly on the perfect time, right when we were about to be seen, and she brought them all back." I've just explained to Eva what happened last night. Of course, I excluded the part where Lysander transformed back to his human form all naked and all that. The less she knows, the better for her brain.

Eva and Nina looked surprised. They both shot him a sympathetic smile. "Well, as long as you're feeling better now." Eva said before taking a sip of her coffee. "Well, as for me, also thanks to Doctor Maxine, she was able to give me a ride. I found out that she lives in Bellvale, so I just had her drop me off at Nina's place."

Bellvale is the city next to ours, where Nina lives. It's much bigger than West Grove, but also more expensive and more packed. I liked it here because there's less people.

"By the way," Eva smirked as she held up her phone. "Look how cute y'all are!"

In her screen is a picture of Lysander and I, all cuddled up while sleeping. I scoffed and looked down at my food, though I already know I'm blushing like mad right now. I focused on finishing my breakfast, which is quite delicious, and ignored all the gushing around me.

Then, Lysander spoke and I almost choked. "How did you do that?" He genuinely sound so curious and amazed.

Nina awed. "You don't know how cameras work? I thought they already had them around -- Wait what year -- "

"No, silly. He's just not very familiar with phones and what they can do." Eva cuts her off while giggling. "Here." She quickly clicked on her phone and within a second, Lysander's phone lit up as well as mine. We both received a text from Eva, and it's our picture of us sleeping.

"Ah, children. You are so cute."

I'm so done with this breakfast.

"I was doing fine without ya, 'til I saw your face, now I can't erase." I sang loudly in my shower, swinging along to Tame Impala. "I was doing fine without ya, 'til I saw your eyes turn away from mine... said come on superman, say your stupid line." I have a playlist for when I'm taking a shower and it's literally the best thing in the world. Eva and I both have speakers on our bathrooms so we can listen to music while taking a shower. It makes it more fun. And it helps me wake up especially when I'm going to my morning class. Just like right now.

I'm probably going to be a little late but oh well.

"Oh the less I know the -- Ahh!" I almost dropped my towel I was holding tight around me as I see Lysander in my bedroom, wearing nothing but boxers. Well, he was currently getting dressed and I caught him halfway and agh! This day is going to be really weird, isn't it? "Lysander, I -- "

My words were cut off, along with my breathing, when my back suddenly hit the wall and my body's trapped between the arms of the werewolf. With less than an inch away from my face, I nervously watch Lysander's pupil dilate completely and red started to appear at the center. Just like how he looked last night, when he turned into his wolf form.

I didn't really have a chance to say anything because before my brain could analyze what was happening, Lysander's lips were on mine and I was completely petrified. I was melting but I couldn't move. My eyes are completely open while his were shut.

Just then, he opened them and jumped away from me. He avoided eye contact by looking at the floor. "I-I'm sorry!" He stuttered before running out of the room.

I took a long deep breath and fell to my bed, with my head spinning around. What in the actual hell just happened????

When I was leaving to go to school, I was a bit surprised that Lysander is already in the car waiting for me. For some reason, I was expecting him to avoid me or something. Before I left the apartment, Eva and Nina were on the couch giggling to themselves and I didn't want to make any disruptions so I left as soon as I could.

On the way to school, the only noise in the car ride is the radio and me occasionally cussing at bad drivers around me. When I parked at the structure, turned off my car and the radio turned off, that's when Lysander decided to talk.

"I haven't shifted for a long time." He began, running a hand through his hair while looking everywhere but me. "For a year. I shifted one time when I was put in Silverstein. People got hurt, I broke a lot of things and the place was a mess. After that, they gave me something, they would inject it to me, so that I couldn't transform." I frowned at the thought of it. They treated him so badly. "Because of that, my wolf hasn't come out. I don't know how to explain it clearly, but he hasn't come out for a long time. It's like locking him away. When I finally let him out last night, it's like he broke out and I can't really control him too much. But now, all he wants is to come out and especially now that you're here, he wants to be with his -- " He stopped, looking at me briefly. "Well, the wolf wants you."

That last four words surely sent chills down my spine and my heart jump.

"Why?" That was all I could get out from my throat. I'm barely able to breathe.

Lysander sighs. "I don't know how to explain it."

I bit my lip anxiously. My eyes wandered towards the time and cursed loudly. "We'll talk about this later." It's one of those save by the bell moments. "Right now I have to go to class." We both got off the car and speed walked out of the parking structure. Damn these stairs. I took out a twenty dollar bill and gave it to him. "Here's some money. You know where the cafeteria and the library is. You know what to do." The cafeteria is on the left side of the campus and my class is on the right side. "I'll see you later." I said as we begin to part ways.

Or, so I thought.

Lysander remained behind me as I walked to my Art History class. I stopped and turned to him. "I want to go with you." He whined quietly, giving me those puppy dog eyes. I almost find it funny because he's a huge wolf, a frightening looking one that can scare literally anything and anyone, yet he's here in front of me suddenly looking like a puppy.

Damn him and damn my fucking heart.

"Fine. But you have to be quiet."

We entered the art building and got in my classroom, first room on the left. My professor, as expected, is rambling about something off topic. The class started five minutes ago. She didn't even notice when Lysander and I sat in the back. I took a seat and pulled out my notebook and colored pens while Lysander took the seat beside me, looking very excited. He had a small smile on his face as he scans the room. A puppy.

"Alright, enough about my children." The old professor chuckled. "Let's get back to lecture. We left off at Michelangelo's Pietà last lecture." She put a picture of the artwork on the projector. Everyone else basically just spaced out as soon as she started talking, apart from a few students, and Lysander. He tilted his head as he observed the artwork and listened carefully to my professor.

As usual, my hand automatically picks up my colored pens and start doodling on my notebook. I have more doodles than lecture notes, fun fact.

"Now, let's look at Michelangelo's David." The professor switched to the next slide, which shows the famous marble sculpture of David. "Pay attention to his body structure. Some critics say that having this kind of body type is basically impossible." She pointed at the hips, chest and stomach of the subject. "It's physically impossible to have this figure."

Lysander laughed at that. And I know why. He obviously has that figure. The impossible figure of being too fit. Still, he continued to listen at what my professor is saying, looking genuinely interested. His head is tilted and his eyes are concentrated on the artwork, I couldn't help but smile.

"You're so cute."

My face warmed up and I cringed at myself. That wasn't supposed to be said out loud. Oh my god.

Luckily, he didn't tease me about it, but rather took it in an amusing way. "Werewolves are not cute." He scoffs. "We are meant to be strong and scary."

I rolled my eyes. "Okay. You're strong and scary and cute." Might as well own up to it.

I reached up to brush a hand through his messy hair and I felt him lean towards me. It wasn't until he was only a couple of inches away that I realized what I was doing. I instantly let go, picked up a pen and started writing down the exact words that my professor is saying. From my peripheral vision, I see him watching me with confusion. "This is important stuff I better write this down."

I asked him again to stay in the library or cafeteria but he insisted he stays at my side. I even told him that Physics will make his head hurt. I'm a Physics major and I love it, but it still makes my head hurt. Still, he refuses to leave. We were outside my Physics classroom when I was telling him, "You can just wait outside and sit there and sleep or whatever."

Then my professor arrives and sees us. "Hello Drew." She greeted. "Who's this?" She smiled at Lysander.

"He's a new student from another country." I blurted out, clutching on his hand tightly. The hand that was caressing my jaw just seconds ago. "He's here to... to see how our classes are and see if he could enroll next semester."

"Ah. Well, if you like, you can sit through today's lecture and see how it is." Lysander nodded vigorously. "Great! Let's go."

As soon as we entered, I heard the geeks talking about Game of Thrones. They're discussing about how, with the laws of our sciences, it is possible to have one season for a year, such as it being winter for a year. Winter is coming. My professor, also being a huge nerd, joined the class conversation, providing some facts and theories.

"Good afternoon y'all." Rami waved, making his way to his seat. He froze as soon as he sees Lysander sitting on a spare seat next to me. Rami took his seat in front of me and spins his chair around to glare at us. "So, um.. What are you doing here?"

I looked at Lysander for an answer, who gave us none. Now that we have better lighting, unlike the dark art classroom, I can still see a hint of red in his eyes. I take it that red a sign of his wolf being conscious, or something.

"He won't go anywhere." I whispered. "He said he's going through this.. wolf thing where he can't be separated from me, or something like that."

Rami's eyes darted back and forth from me, though he lingered on Lysander a bit longer, before nodding. "Okay, I guess." He narrowed his eyes at Lysander but said nothing else.

At that moment, Spooky walked in to class and everyone greeted him. "You missed a pretty good conversation about Game of Thrones, Spooky." Said Tanya, a girl from our class. "No one tell him."

"What?!" He groaned. "This one time I came late!" He took his seat next to Rami and turned around to greet us. "Hello darling. Oh! And Alexander, was it?" He gave me a fist bump and smiled at Lysander, who said nothing once again. Though, he did scoot his chair closer to me. "Ah, I see you're still shy. It's cool." Spooky grins before spinning his chair around to face the class.

"Y'all. Can you believe Sense 8 got cancelled on Netflix?!" Literally everybody, including myself, gasped at this news. Why in the world would someone cancel such a beautiful show? It's so important, unique, and creative and has a very good representation of society and issues.

"What's that?" Lysander asked me, referring to the said Netflix show.

I shook my head and pulled out my notebook, pencil and calculator. "Nothing honey, just nerd talks."

In today's lecture, we talked about chemicals. More specifically, heavy chemicals that are made from supernovas, when massive stars die and collide on themselves. That is how we get heavy elements like iron, uranium and gold. For our lab, we'll be working with chemicals and fusions to make other elements, a model experiment of a supernova. We have to work in groups, so Rami, Spooky and I will work together, and for today, Lysander.

"Drew, I guess you can say that you and I have chemistry." He winks, holding up a couple of flasks that have chemicals in them. "How about we fuse and make more of us?"

I couldn't help but laugh at that. That was so bad but oh so good.

Although, I can't say that Lysander feels the same. I see him tense up and clench his jaw, while his eyes shoot daggers at Spooky. Thankfully, Ezra took no notice of this as he is too busy laughing at his own pick up line. Rami cleared his throat and got to work immediately.

Throughout the lab, Spooky was on fire with the nerdy pick up lines and it wasn't doing us any good. Lysander started to breathe heavily and the red in his eyes grew larger. Lysander, just like last night, tried to blink away the redness but it wouldn't go away. Even Spooky noticed something was wrong with him but he didn't say anything. Rami tried not to look, but couldn't help himself at Lysander's movements.

After a brief moment, Rami stood up and pulled Lysander from his seat. "Excuse us." He said hurriedly before dragging Lysander out of the room.

Spooky watched curiously as they ran out. "Is your friend okay?"

"Yeah." I lied through my teeth. "He's just... " I don't know how cover that up, honestly. Though, I didn't need to say more because Rami returned with a bruise on his face. His shirt is scratched a little, but hidden underneath a leather jacket. At this moment, my heart raced anxiously and my head started to pound. I could feel all the blood being drained from my face.

"Lysander needs you." Rami says casually, returning back to his seat.

Spooky wanted to say something. Just looking at his face, he wanted to say so much, but no words came out. He just nodded and continued with the lab.

While the two were concentrated in their work, I rushed out of the room. I checked the hallways and it was clear. I stepped outside and almost shit my brains out at the sight of red eyes attempting to hide behind the bushes. The growls weren't helping either.

"Holy fucking shit." I ran towards the wolf and pushed him further to the bushes. Luckily, the science building is surrounded with trees and bushes, with a greenhouse in the middle. There's no student around, but I really don't want to risk making him stay here a little longer.

"Did you really shift in the middle of class? Oh my god." I had to put a hand over my heart, scared of how fast it is beating. The wolf growled. He turned his body towards the entrance of the science building, ready to attack. "No no no." He was really angry and I don't know what to do about it. "Shhh." I ran a hand through his fur and brushed his face softly.

The wolf closed his eyes and stopped growling. Sighing in relief, I sat down next to the wolf and held him for a few minutes until I felt it was okay to let him go. When I did, he licked my cheek.

"Ew." I cringed, playfully pushing him away. I saw a familiar black piece of clothing beside us, as well as pieces of black jeans scattered on the grassy field. "God damn it! Your clothes!" The wolf let out a bark, which almost sounded an awful lot like a laugh. I am losing my mind over this werewolf.

I removed my jacket. "Alright. Shift back."

The wolf did nothing but wag its tail and stare at me.

"Lysander. I'm serious. You can't be here any longer. People will be coming. We're in a public place and you will be seen." He let out another bark. As if I know what he's saying. Silly wolf.

Nevertheless, he shifted back to his human form. I closed my eyes as soon as I see his figure started to expand. I heard bones snapping and it made me super uncomfortable. "You can look." I hear his deep husky voice say.

I opened my eyes, but only to close them again to find that he didn't cover himself, causing a chuckle out of him. I threw him my jacket and ran towards the bathrooms. I peaked inside the males restroom to see if anyone's there before going in. Lysander followed after me when I entered an empty stall.

And I most definitely regret my action as soon as I did it. We're squished inside a small cubicle. My breath hitched as Lysander stands very close to me, his pupils dilating as we stared at each other. He slowly closes the distance between us and stopped when our lips brushed. I parted my lips and kissed him without thinking. Right way, I felt him deepened the kiss and a hand reached my waist and neck.

"Whoa! Getting some in the bathroom? Rad, bro!" I screamed at the unexpected voice in the room. I don't know who it is, but I don't even care. I was just... We were just... I backed away and leaned against the locked door, putting hands over my reddened face.

I waited until the stranger's footsteps disappeared speaking. "I don't know why I did that." I confessed, shaking my head to put some sense to my head. "Fuck. I'm going back to class. But stay here! Don't go anywhere. You are naked!"

I ran away faster than you can say AWKWARD.
