《King of The Vamps》Attack

By the time Amaryllis had made it through the town, it was still pitch black outside. She had already been stared at from wandering vampires. Stares of disgust and hate. She felt ashamed of herself for being, what? A human?
Amaryllis, lost in thought, jumped as she felt a hand grab the back of her shirt and pull her back. Frightened, she tried to pull away, but the person pulled her back. It's was not King Ulric.
She was forced to look at the person when they walked in front of her. Standing in her field of view, a seemingly younger vampire boy with shaggy blonde hair stood in front of her. He was a few inches taller than herself.
Drips of blood painted his mouth, and long black claws elongated from his nails. His eyes were a deep crimson, much darker than they should be; indicating he was feeling a very heavy emotion, like hunger.
His fangs were elongated. Sharp white points extended from his gums and were directed toward Amaryllis's neck.
Amaryllis sucked in a deep breath as she took in the boy's appearance. He didn't have much muscle, and he looked quite young and not very mature.
He didn't look like the kind of vampire that could easily control their hunger. "Well don't you look tasty," the vampire said, a sinister smile on his lips. His voice wasn't very deep.
Amaryllis shook her head and backed up, looking for an escape route. "Trying to run?" He questioned. "But we were just about to have some fun," he sneered. "Hey, that rhymed."
He reached out and gripped the girl's wrist in an excruciatingly tight manner.
What is up with all of these vampires treating me like I am a rag doll?
"Don't you want to have some fun?" The boy asked, faking an innocent look.
Amaryllis wasn't sure what to do. She couldn't try to fight off a vampire, and she couldn't call for help. The only people around were vampires and they would probably want to join in on killing the young human girl.

She tried prying the boy's hand off of her wrist, but she couldn't get it to budge. His grip was deathly tight.
"Please let go," she whimpered. She would much rather be in the grasp of the King.
"I don't think so," the boy laughed. He turned and started walking down a narrow alley. She ground her feet into the cobblestone road, but her efforts were useless.
They entered the alleyway and walked about ten feet down before she was pushed against a wall of the building beside them.
She yelped as her head roughly smacked against the brick wall. "Are you going to be a screamer," the vampire asked with a sickening laugh.
She looked around wildly, looking for anyone to help her, but no one was around this part of the town.
The vampire gripped Amaryllis's chin and forced it up, exposing her neck. She tried to move her head, but his grip was too hard.
She saw his eyes flash an even darker red, as his opened his mouth, his fangs exposed again.
His face leaned in towards Amaryllis's neck. She braced herself to feel the searing pain of razor-sharp points burying themselves self into her skin, but the pain never came.
Within a second, the vampire who was once standing in front of her, ready to drain her dry was gone.
She looked down at the road and saw the boy dead on the cobblestone ground with the King above him, holding a bloody stake in his hand.
Amaryllis brought her hands up to her face as she gasped in shock. "Why did you kill him?" She exclaimed.
The King looked at her with a bored expression. "This was his second chance, and he blew it." The King vaguely said. Amaryllis assumed he had been jailed before.
What the King didn't tell her, was that he felt an inkling that she was in danger. After the feeling persisted, he flew down the mountain just in time to kill the delinquent vampire before he could hurt his mate.

Even he tried to refuse the feeling, telling himself he needed to get rid of the delinquent. He couldn't have vampires running around doing whatever they wanted. But would he have killed the vampire, one of his own, had Amaryllis been a different person? He tried to tell himself that he would've.
Ulric grabbed the young vampire's corpse and walked to an opening in the town. He set the body down and flicked open a lighter. He then dropped the lighter onto the body, and within seconds the corpse had disappeared.
"What about his family," Amaryllis asked. She wanted his family to at least know that the boy was dead.
"He didn't have one," Ulric said. He turned on his foot and walked to Amaryllis. He grabbed her arm and once again sped off through the town and up the mountain-side. By the time they had gotten to the bottom of the mountain, the sun was beginning to rise.
Amaryllis was extremely grateful that the King had come to her rescue. If he hadn't, who knows what could have happened to her. She felt overwhelming relief when she saw the King.
Amaryllis didn't even notice how tired she was from the morning's adventures until she almost collapsed from exhaustion when they got to the castle doors.
The King walked in first, but she looked over out at the little town at the bottom of the mountain. It was a gorgeous sight. From her position, she could see the beginning and end of the town, and the forest surrounding the town.
After taking a second to admire the view, she rushed back into the castle not wanting to make King Ulric upset.
Knowing she was following, Ulric led her through the long twisting hallways that led to the dungeon.
Amaryllis was afraid of going back to the cold, dark cell. She would have much rather stayed outside looking over at the town below.
She knew he was leading her back to the cell she was put in. She felt a sadness grow within her. She didn't want to go down there. For a reason unknown to her, she wanted to stay in the presence of the King.
"King Ulric!" A high pitched, sensual voice called out.
Amaryllis turned her head to the right to see who it was. It was Kayla, standing in the doorway of a random room. She was wearing a lace robe, showing off the lingerie she was wearing beneath.
Amaryllis inwardly gagged at the sight and quickly averted her gaze. Where did she even get those garments anyway, Amaryllis wondered.
"What Kayla?" He growled, his voice sounding much harsher than when he was speaking to Amaryllis earlier.
From her shocked expression, Amaryllis could tell that she wasn't expecting his tone of voice. She quickly recovered though and put a sultry smile back on her face.
"I was waiting for you," she said, before finally noticing Amaryllis was there as well. She gave Amaryllis a disgusted look, making the young girl feel awkward being in the middle of their spat.
"Not tonight," the King growled and motioned for Amaryllis to follow.
She wasn't completely naive, she knew they were talking about having sex. She felt immense jealousy as she followed the King back down the hall.
They had been there two days and Kayla was already seducing the man. The man that Amaryllis felt an odd connection to. The man that she didn't want any other females touching.
However, she also felt hurt. What made Kayla so much better than her?
She followed the King to the dungeon entrance. They walked down the stairs quietly, and if Amaryllis hadn't of known the King was in front of her, she would have never known he was there. He was quiet and stealthy.
The King pushed open her cell door and held it open for her. She quickly walked in, feeling like a little child in comparison to him.
"You'll stay here until breakfast," he said. He walked away from the door letting it slam shut.
