The next week went by smoothly. I spent every minute with Cassie and Lennox.

Cassie came over every morning, and we would spend time with Lennox. We would ride together, like always, to school. After school, we went back to my house. It was routine.

Bedtime has gotten easier. I finally got Lennox to sleep with me. Of course, Cassie sang her song, but I was the one to rock Lennox.

Cassie helped me out with that. She told me I was rigid while holding her. I don't know what I was afraid of. I have 18 nieces and nephews, so I am used to being around children.

Cassie was just pure amazing. She knew the right things to do. You would think she had experience at home, but she doesn't. All she has is a twin brother and a fourteen year old sister. I guess the motherly instincts come natural to girls.

Lennox is a perfect baby. She is calm and laid back. She is always smiling and giggling. She only cries when she gets hungry and tired. It truly is a blessing.

Today, is March 26. It is our court date. After today, Lennox will be mine. All mine. I won't have to worry about sharing custody with Tori. I never have to let her go.

Tori's POV

Today is the day. I will be free from my burden as a mother. I know she is in good hands. I could tell by Wade's expression when he came to me with the papers.

I was just scared. I didn't want her to ruin his life like she did mine. But, I can tell she is changing him for the better. That is why I am able to do this today.

I am done hurting everyone I am in contact with.

After today, I will be a new person. A new Tori. I am leaving Amarillo for good. I am going to live with my father in New York. It is all set up. I will start school in the fall, and nobody will know my past.

Time to say goodbye to everyone.
