A/N:

Hey guys.

So I just wanted to say thank you for all the comments and votes that you have been leaving.

I love hearing what you think.

I appreciate it💕

Enjoy.

**************

I woke up with my head placed firmly against a warm, hard surface, with my arm tucked up against my chest. The realization that it was Archer who's chest my forehead was pressed against and who's arm was loosely slung over my side, came to me after a few seconds of being awake.

Archer's arm, that was slung over my side, was warm and comforting around my form. I could feel his chest moving slowly and could hear his breath as he breathed softly. He was still asleep, so I let myself enjoy his calming presence.

I shifted slightly in an attempt to get more comfortable, but that caused Archer to stir awake.

Shit.

He groaned and ran a hand over his face. He looked down at me and smiled, realizing the situation.

"Hi." I said softly.

"Hi." He said letting his fall back into his pillow and moving his arm, that was around me, to his hair.

I sat up to look at him properly, "How did you sleep?" I was hoping that I didn't cause him too much discomfort last night.

"Like a rock." Archer said smiling softly.

"So, I don't keep you up too much?"

"You didn't keep me up at all." Archer said. "How'd u sleep?"

I blushed, "Really well. Thanks to you." I looked down at my lap.

"Well, glad to be of service." I didn't even have to see his face to know that he was smirking.

I looked up when I felt the bed shift under me as Archer sat up as well. He sat facing me, legs crossed and hands in his lap.

"Thank you." I said, "I would've probably stayed up all night if you hadn't 'saved' me." I said laughing nervously.

"Anytime, Blondie. Anytime." I just smiled.

After a moment of comfortable silence passed, I said: "Wait. What's the time?"

Archer reaches for his phone and checked. "Half past eight."

"Time for breakfast?" I asked.

"Don't you want to stay here for a bit longer?" Archer said beginning to lie down again, pulling me down with him.

My head lay on his pillow across from his. He reached up to my face with his hand and played with a strand of my hair. I love it when he does that, but I know for a fact that it causes my face to turn red (which is something I'm not too fond of).

I leaned in and kissed him softly. I could tell that I had surprised him, but he regains his composure and kissed me back. When I pulled away I said, "I'd love to stay a while longer, but we don't want to spend the whole day inside, do we?" I said.

I leaned away from Archer and stepped out of the warmth that he provided.

I heard him groan, so I laughed.

"Someone is already cooking breakfast. I can smell the bacon." I said happily. "Com'on, Archer." I pleaded.

He sat up and watched me from the bed. "Okay." Amused at my eagerness to eat.

"Great. I'm going to change quickly and then I'll meet you at your door." I informed him.

I left without Archer's response and went into my room to change.

I decided to go with an off the shoulder, casual pink shirt and light denim shorts. I wore my bikini underneath, just Incase.

After getting dressed I walked across the hall to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, washed my face and ran a brush through my hair. Lastly I applied my face cream and then went to knock on Archer's door.

He opened the door with a smile. "Let's go eat." I said, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward the stairs.

"Someone's hungry." He said chuckling behind me.

"What gave me away?" I joked.

He just laughed in response.

When we made it down the stairs we were greeted by the few eyes, of the only people who had woken up, from the couches.

"Hey." I greeted Devin and Alice. "Who's cooking?" I asked.

"Erin, Jake and Caitlyn." Devin replied.

"I'll go help them." I said to Archer, leaving him to take a seat with the rest of our fiends.

When I reached the kitchen I saw the mess that they had created. "Wow." Is all I could say.

"I know. We aren't cut out for this." Caitlyn said.

"Speak for yourself." Jake said holding up a perfectly cooked pancake. I laughed, but Caitlyn glared at him.

"Show off." She mumbled.

"So what are we having?" I asked as I began to help clean up their mess.

"Bacon and pancakes." Erin said.

"And for some of us, who don't eat 'unhealthy'," Caitlyn said, referring to Archer, "Eggs, bacon and a slice of toast."

"He'll really appreciate that." I said, "Thanks."

Caitlyn smiled.

"It was her idea." Jake said, "I think she's given up on convincing him to eat badly."

Caitlyn shrugged. I smiled.

"What time is Eli getting here?" I asked her.

"Around twelve, I think."

"But there's only one room left, so hows that going to work?" I asked.

"I'm staying with Jake in his room. One of them can have mine." Erin explained.

"Oh."

"The situation has been taken care of." Caitlyn said.

After that we finished making the food, cleaning the kitchen, serving the food and eating the delicious meal.

When we all finished eating and the people who didn't cook the food, cleaned up the plates and the counter.

I was sitting on the deck chairs by the pool, while Archer cleaned up. After a few minutes he approached me and said, "Are you ready for our 'date day'?"

I smiled. "Yes. Should I change?"

"You look perfect." He put out his hand for me to take and pulled me up off of the chair.

"Thank you." I placed a kiss on his cheek. "Let me just grab my things from upstairs."

I ran upstairs and swung my door open. I grabbed my bag and my phone, then made my way back down stairs.

I wonder what kind of things Archer has in mind for today.

When I made it to the bottom of the stairs, Archer was waiting patiently for me. Staring out the glass patio doors. He turned to me when he heard me near him.

"I let everyone know that we were leaving." He said, placing his hand in mine.

"Cool. Let's go then." I said with a smile.

We made our way into the garage and hopped into Archers car, it's familiar scent covering me like a safety blanket.

We drove out of the driveway and down the street.

We weren't on the road long before I couldn't handle the curiosity that was building up inside of me. "What's the plan?"

"I was thinking that we go to the aquarium." He explained after a moments silence.

I have a massive love for all animal creatures, land and ocean. This couldn't be a more perfect option for my coastal date with Archer.

"That sounds amazing."

"I'm glad you think so."

I squealed, "I'm so exited. I haven't been to the aquarium in forever."

Archer sat smiling, while I babbled on.

"Maybe I was ten or something?" I questioned myself. "But oh my word! I love the predatory sea creatures." I exclaimed. "I can't wait to see the penguins, oh and the dolphin show!" They're so majestic, I thought. "Ugh, I want to see it all!" I said with an exasperated sigh, letting my hands drop to my sides.

After glancing at me, questioning my ramble, Archer said, "That was a roller coaster." He chuckled.

"Shut up." I joked.

We drove down the coastal roads toward the aquarium. I spent the rest of the drive looking out of my window at all the rich and refreshing sights.

I could see a cargo ship far on the horizon of the water. When I was young I loved looking for the ships that would be delivering things across oceans into another country's boarders. They fascinated me, but I've never understood why something so simple can be so interesting.

I was brought out of my thoughts when the car came to a slow stop. I looked to the front and noticed that we were one of many in a long line of cars. I followed the line of cars toward the front with my eyes and saw that it is was for parking admission to the aquarium.

"That's a lot of people." I said more to myself, suddenly getting nervous.

Archer reached his hand over in my direction and squeezed my hand. "You'll be okay, I'm going to be right next to you the whole time."

I attempted a small smile, but I'm not sure it was convincing enough. "Thanks."

We sat a little while longer in the line of cars, waiting for admission.

I spent that time biting my nails and bouncing my leg on the car floor, trying to rationalize the situation. I will be fine. It's just people.

When we made it to the front, Archer rolled down his window and paid for the parking and a day for two at the park. After a few casual exchange of greetings with the booth tenant as well.

Once we were properly inside and driving around to find a parking space, I could fully see the building in front of me.

"Wow." I admired. Archer chuckled beside me, him too looking out of the window in awe.

There was a giant ship-like building, which looked like an old repurposed cargo ship. It had a name painted across it in big white letters, Lady Pearl. It was massive and looked intimidating, but enchanting at the same time.

My excitement overtook the anxiety that had been building up while waiting in the line of cars, and I let out a small squeal.

I looked over to the other side of the property and saw the top of the dolphin show arena and I saw the slides of the water park protruding through the tops of the palm trees that lined the parking lot perimeter.

I stepped out of the car almost as soon as the car found its place in a parking slot.

Archer came up next to me after moving around his car. He placed his arm over my shoulders and pulled my into him. He kissed the side of my face softly, which caused me to look up at him. I smiled, but then placed a soft kiss on his lips.

When we broke apart Archer was smiling like a child on its birthday.

Cute.

"Let's go!" I pleaded.

I started waking, pulling Archer with me as I went. "Okay! I'm coming." He said chuckling.

We made our way through the wooden gates that towered over us. They reminded me of the Jurassic Park entrance gates. They looked old and weathered, but just like the ship - enchanting.

As we crossed the threshold of the entrance, I took in the closer look of the activities offered by the park.

The atmosphere was full of energy, children's laughter and small exited screams.

"Where to first?" I asked Archer, looking up at him questioningly.

"Let's start at the shipwreck aquarium, then the 'lagoon' ride, the dolphins show and then finally get some food?"

"Sounds like a plan." I smiled.

Even though what Archer said sounded like a short day, it was surely not. The shipwreck would take an hour and a half at least, the dolphins show and the lagoon ride would be half an hour each, but our meal will only take twenty minutes.

There will be enough time for us to make it back to the house and leave with the group to go to the carnival.

Archer and I made our way over to the entrance of the shipwreck building.

As we stepped inside, the cool air of the air conditioning system enveloped me and sent goosebumps down my arms. The cool air was a relief, but I knew that I'd eventually get cold.

We walked down the main entrance area toward the large doors that held a sign saying, Aquarium.

I could feel the childish excitement in the atmosphere and it only encouraged my childlike excitement, so I pulled archer along toward the doors.

When we stepped inside we were met with a narrow hallway, which had rock and stone as it's walls. It was almost like we were inside an underwater cave, because the reflection of water layered the walls around us. The floor was a gap that was filled with water and beautiful marine fish. We walked over a wooden bridge that lead to the other side as it turned around the bends of the hallway.

It was magical.

"This is amazing." I told Archer.

"It is something." He said smiling.

When we came to the end of the entrance hallway, we were met with a massive room filled with large fish tanks of common marine bottoms dwellers.

The room was lightly illuminated, most likely in consideration for the fish.

The fish tanks were large, but there were many that lined the walls of the room, each holding a different kind of fish.

We made our way to the first tank, which had the label 'Sole fish'. It was not the most attractive fish, but it was weirdly interesting. It had a flat kind of body and was a dull brownish-green colour. When Archer and I moved to go toward the next tank, the Sole buried itself in the sand as a disguise, in reaction to our sudden movement.

"That was one ugly fish." Archer said.

"Shame! Don't say the in front of it." I said, lightly slapping Archer's chest.

He let out a loud laugh, earning a few glances from people, mostly girls, around us. That's right ladies, that's my man.

"Wow, Blondie. I think the fish already knows of it's unattractiveness." He said.

I ignored him and walked over to the center of the room, which had a large, deep rock pool-like structure at its center. It had plants, algae and starfish living inside. It was a beautiful man made ecosystem, which the creatures made into a home.

Amazing.

We finished our tour through the bottom dwellers and made our way to the next part of the aquarium.

This room was much larger and much more exciting.

"This is more like it." Archer said satisfied, which caused me to laugh.

There was a large tank that spanned the wall to my left, and another that spanned the wall to my right. They took up all the space of what would be a wall.

There were sharks, rays, small fish, big fish, dull fish, colourful fish and a beautiful ecosystem of plant life.

There were three kinds of shark in the one tank, a Smallspotted Catshark, a Nursehound and a Epaulette Shark. they were intimidating, but had a kind of grace as well.

The animals lived peacefully amongst each other, which apparently was surprising to Archer. "You would think that they'd want to kill each other."

I mentally slapped my forehead. "Archer, not all creatures follow the laws of teenage masculinity."

Archer gave me a look, but I laughed it off.

We made our way toward the reef part of the aquarium.

It was filled with hundreds of colours, some colours I had never even seen before. There were fish, corals, algae, sea grass and sponges that illuminated the surrounding areas with their presence.

In the corner, of this section of the aquarium, there was a group of old bathroom chamber facilities. They looked rusted and vintage, it really set the mood for a sunken ship. They were probably original parts of the ship, that the company could bring them selves to remove.

"Finally, a fish I can identify. That's a clown fish." Archer stated proudly, bribing me out of my thoughts.

I laughed. "At least you knew that." I joked. "I can't believe how poor your knowledge of marine life is."

"I doubt you know much about it either. We're from the inner parts of the county after all."

"Okay." I said accepting the challenge. "You see that structure over here?"

"Yes?"

"Can you guess what it is?"

"A plant?"

"No, it is a marine sponge. It is actually one of the oldest and most simple forms of the animal kingdom. It has been living in this planet for millions of years." I explained.

"Damn, Blondie." He said chuckling. "Though honesty, I shouldn't be surprised that you know this stuff."

I laughed. "Never underestimate me."

He smiled. "Okay. Tell me something else."

"Um." I looked around at the surrounding tanks and thought of something, "Coral reefs only make up 1% of the ocean, but are home to 25% of the oceans known species." I started. "The problem is that coral reefs majorly contribute to the production of oxygen for the planet, but global warming is killing them off, due to risen sea temperatures. The slight increase of temperature has cause the corals and other organisms to die."

"Wow." Archer said. "That took a turn for the deep."

"Sorry." I said giggling.

"You're a smart ass, you know that?" I just laughed at his comment.

A long time had passed and we made our way outside toward the next destination, the lagoon ride.

When we walked along the curving pathways, Archer must've been anticipating the groups of people, because he pulled me close against him before I even had a chance to noticed the crowds.

I focused on Archer's scent and the destination in front of us, to destruct myself from the growing anxiety.

Deep breaths, Aurora. Deep breaths.

We walked passed the groups of people quickly, but casually. I heard their laughter and the excitement that laced their voices as they conversed. They didn't look too old, nor young. They must've been late twenties, early thirties. It shows you that there is no age limit for fun.

After making our way out of the crowd, relief rushed over me like a tidal wave. Finally.

My hands were sweaty and slightly tingly, but otherwise I was okay.

"We made it." Archer said happily.

I laughed.

We walked over to the lagoon ride. There was a young man, with an amazing tan, manning the lagoon ride.

The benefits of living on the coast.

"Hello." He greeted, smiling at me.

"Hey." I returned his greeting.

"Hi." Archer said.

"Just the two of you?" He asked.

"Just the two of us." Archer said pulling his arm around me once again, pulling me in tight.

"You two dating then?" He asked.

"Yes." Archer said, smiling arrogantly.

I had to contain my laughter.

"Aright, follow me." He said lookin away quickly, probably put off any more conversation, due to Archer's behavior.

He lead us to the small rafts that we would be using to float along the lagoon.

"Okay." He started. "Rules are: No littering or polluting the lagoon and no picking or pulling the plants that u pass. No disturbing the fish or picking them up." He instructed. "The fish that are in the water are not dangerous. The park had made sure that no sharks can get into the lagoon. You will be safe."

That's a relief. I was starting to wonder about that stuff.

"Thanks." I said.

Archer and I walked over to the water and we hopped into the raft.

"Do not over tilt the raft, or you will capsize." The man stated.

He pushed the raft forward down the lagoon. "It will move itself as you progress further."

As we had turned the first corner of the lagoon we were out of sight.

"He so had an eye for you." Archer said irritated.

"Archer, you're insane. He did not." I said laughing.

"You don't think like a guy, I do. I know what 'interest in a girl' looks like." He stated. "But I embarrassed him, so not worry."

"Wow, Archer." I said rolling my eyes playfully.

We moved along the peaceful lagoon and I watched the fish swim past as we progressed along the watery path.

"They're beautiful." I mumbled to myself.

"They are, but you're more beautiful." Archer said with a cheeky grin, still looking down into the water.

"You're such a charmer." I laughed.
