《Playtime》Chapter Nineteen

I finally woke up. My head was pounding. I couldn't recall what was going on, or what happened the previous night, but the only word echoed in my throbbing head. Demon. I was surrounded by seven of the hottest demons that worked for the Devil. I step out of the bed and stretch. My neck was stiff and hurt. And then, I remembered the previous events. Yoongi threatening me and then Taehyung biting me. I rub the wound and then flinch as a sharp pain jolted up my neck. I pull away and look at my hand. No blood.
Sighing in relief, I hurry to get dressed and look out the window. If I was going to escape their grasp before getting sacrificed tonight, I needed a foolproof plan. A plan that they wouldn't expect. Pushing my now, fixed blond hair out of my face, I examine the yard.
A large metal fence wrapped around the massive mansion and the evergreen shrubbery seemed like a good place to hide. Fluttering my wings, I smell the sweet scent of fresh blood. Diverting my gaze, I see a baby deer or a bambi staggering next to the fence.
'kill it.' the voices ordered. 'you want to.' I wrap my arms around my head, trying to shut the voices out. I didn't know what was happening. I was willing to do anything Yoongi said and now I was hearing the desperate voices of souls, tempting me to kill. Tempting me to submit to the satisfying feeling of darkness.
"you see it, don't you?" Namjoon's voice asked behind me. Spinning around I gasp as he's standing there holding a dead deer body up. My vision suddenly turned scarlet. I cough as the smell of blood increased, making my sanity flicker. The voices seemed to scream, pounding on my brain screaming at me to grab it. To sink my teeth in it's soft flesh.

"What's happening to me?" I ask breathing heavily as I sink to the ground and grab onto the bed to try and keep me from lunging at the dead creature.
"you're marked by us, remember?" Namjoon says. "that means you have a part of each of us. The vampire instincts are stronger than a fallen angel or demon. So you're able to smell blood stronger than me or Taehyung. And you're able to see souls like the three demons." I hold on tighter to the bed, shaking my head.
"I wont become like you!" I scream. I stare at Namjoon before rushing toward the window. I throw myself through the glass, escaping from the horrid room. Crashing to the ground, I felt the sharp edges dig into my flesh, but that didn't stop me from getting up and running to the gate. Looking back, I see Namjoon glaring before walking away. I didn't wait to see what would happen. I wanted to get out of there before all seven of them come after me. I make it past the gate, before an unbearable pain shot through my neck. I clutched it screamed.
The burning sensation was getting stronger, the further I got from the house. I rubbed my neck, trying to stop the burning sensation from escalating throughout my body. I couldn't. Backing up back into the yard, the burning stopped. A sense of relief washed over me.
"okay, then." I say glaring at the house. "if you wanna play it like that, then we'll play it like that."
