Chapter * Introduction of the gods

Creation of the world, Origin of life and death, Mysterious Fairies

Before the cities of the living, before the first dead, there were the gods. They constructed their worlds, the ground, sea, and sky. Each world was separate, each their own entities. The gods fed their pets letting them grow large and bountiful, but they were not satisfied with their empty lands.

Each god created races to dwell in each world, these were the lessers. They were special, the more powerful the lessers grew and worshiped the gods the greater the gods could grow and alter their worlds. This lasted for many millennia, until the lessers couldn't grow anymore, they had reached their peak. This caused the gods to look for ways to keep growing their powers by creating new types of life. First they created solitary slow growing things, those 'things' were plants. They created plants with the thought that perhaps the fast growing nature of the lessers is what led to their peak. This was not the case, in fact the plants had barely produced strength or worship at all. So, the gods scemed, and pondered. And finally one god had an idea, what if the lessers could only grow stronger for so long and the solution was not to make them live and grow slower but to make them grow and cultivate their strength quickly! The power hungry gods made their next creature, this one for the sole purpose of gaining and starting strengths of different kinds. As such, the first beasts were created, some were soft, and friendly others were scaley, and dangerous. The beasts grew strong and surpassed the lesser's strength by many tens of times. Once again their worlds grew larger, but at the same time the worlds were feeling less and less populated by their creations. So after much thought, they gave all their creations the power to make more of them, they called this power 'life'. Life was also used to increase their creations' strength by passing down the parents' life force and as such gain even higher power by the lesser worship. The lesser built families and populated the worlds creating the first societies and concentrated religions. As time went on each world became more and more populated and eventually there was no space for the races to populate. To fix this overpopulation problem the gods gave the gift of death. This had unexpected repercussions, the dangerous beasts became violent and killed each other and the lessers, the friendly beasts took their anger on the plants. All the creations suffered, whether it be hunger, pain, disease, or some other thing.

This was also when the gods sowed the worlds together to make a single world they could work on together. When the gods sewed the worlds together some extra-realmular space got stuck between the sowed worlds. This extra-realmular space is not only where the fairies were found, but also where the first magic beast were reported.

~~~(Pov)Azeroth~~~
Parting with idiotic magic man, Azeroth continued walking to his home. Walking down the stone pathway for a while he came to the knight training area again.
The knights were out on their monthly monster subjugation in a desert to the north-west. Glancing down into the training area Azeroth felt as if his Int score dropped a bit. His staff that he had unknowingly left on the grass was brightly illuminated in the warm, noon sun. How could Azeroth forget his lavish spell casting tool out in the open for so long as a night.
Sighing in disappointment at his lack of calm shown the day before, Azeroth walked down the hard, dirtied stone stairs and across the light reddish sand that was a horrible excuse for a training ground he walked and picked up his wonderful tool. His magic staff was slightly stained from sitting in red sand all night so obviously Azeroth had to get it cleaned by the maids later.
Looking closer at his staff Azeroth noticed small amounts of clear, glittering sludge on the crystal ball. Focusing closer at the sludge Azeroth activated observe, a skill that explained details on inanimate objects or creatures.
[Your Lv.21 Observation has failed]
Azeroth had few thoughts in his mind after reading all the messages but the main gist of his thoughts were:
'A Error? How? Has the system ever failed before? How?'
Rapidly standing up and almost immediately falling over Azeroth sprinted back across the sandy ground and up the stairs with staff in hand. On his way he made sure not to have the sludge fall off the crystal ball. Entering through the wings door which led outside and rushing through the halls not even stopping to greet some nobles ,which were in his wing for some unknown reason. Azeroth kept dashing through the halls that for some reason seemed so much longer and maze-like than all his time here led him to believe. Azeroth finally found himself at his laboratory door.
Throwing the door open, Azeroth didn't even have time to search for Gabriel. He quickly rushed to a table that was clean and took a cloth from the lowest drawer of the table and messily spread it out on the table before placing his staff on the table. Reaching into his robes pocket Azeroth pulled out the tools that he took from the Institution and placed them on the table.
Handling a blade-like instrument, Azeroth started to scrape off the clear sludge onto a plate to study. Placing the plate under a scope he analyzed the mana structure of the sludge. Although he believed that the sludges structure would be very loose it was not, instead the structure was very very packed.
Picking up a needle, Azeroth flowed his mana through it and pricked the sludge. He kept his eyes on the formation as it changed from a packed mess and expanded into a perfect symmetrical pattern. Looking away from scope, Azeroth stared at the sludge that transformed from a clear liquid into a hard looking clear diamond type crystal.
Reaching to pick up the crystal Azeroth was interrupted by a loud crashing noise. Looking behind him he saw Gabriel on the floor surrounded by glass. Looking closer at her she seemed to be several inches larger...
Perhaps it was time to get her some clothes to cover herself.
