《Moniker's Mana》Chapter 9

Scarlet and professor Isabel went through the portal. Before they knew it Scarlet and the professor were at the dungeon Moniker was found in.
"Moniker?"
Scarlet was confused as to why she was here again. She saw Moniker fly somewhere else with a jolly attitude. The professor was confused as well. There was no magic she knew of that could do that.
"I definitely felt the mana change! But he didn't cast a spell!"
Scarlet saw Moniker flying back towards her dragging the skeleton of a wyvern under him. He placed it next to Scarlet and she felt touched at the sight.
"Awwww. Thank you, Moniker."
When something dies in a dungeon all of their flesh except for anything hard like bone, teeth, or claws is turned to mana and absorbed by the dungeon.
The three returned to the professor's office with Moniker in a cheery mood and scarlet feeling happy.
"He sure can do some amazing stuff but it's not magic. Maybe his race had a different way to use mana. There are stories from long ago that detail abnormally strong people who wield mana as the spirits do."
Moniker was content with playing with mana in the corner of the room. The most specialized mages could only at most feel the mana. Meanwhile, Moniker is playing with mana like it's a game. Bouncing it around strengthening it merging mana with more mana. He did whatever he found most entertaining.
"How do spirits use mana?"
"They use it without any spells. They say the humans made magic after watching the spirits use it. At any rate, if you want him to be an 'official' mage then he needs to go through the academy like you are."
A slight smile on Scarlet's face was displayed for a moment, but only for a moment.

"Thank you!"
She grabbed Moniker's hand and dragged him out of the room. Once the door was closed she quickly addressed Moniker.
"Did you hear that? you get to go to the academy with me!"
"Academy?"
"You'll see. Its gonna be fun."
Scarlet the snuck Moniker into the girl's dorm. Of course, Moniker doesn't know what's happening at all. After getting to her room with Moniker a mischievous smile appeared on her face.
"Moniker it's alright if we sleep in the same bed right?"
"I don't do that though."
Scarlet suddenly seemed disappointed at her own forgetfulness.
In the middle of the night, Moniker was reading a book. He liked the language that they used. He got bored and put the book back in Scarlet's bookshelf. He looked back over at Scarlet. She was sound asleep. She was like a princess(because she is).
He left her be and made a portal to quietly escape from the room to the forest. He wanted to freely fly around and stretch his nonexistent wings. It was the only time he felt himself. He liked flying more than anything.
A little while after flying he went back down to the ground to stay at calm hover. Then suddenly he felt an itch on his arm. The itch quickly turned to immense pain. He looked over and saw an arrow deep in his arm.
A blue window greeted him stating:
[Warning]

What do you wish for?
Norman hated his life. His peers ignored and bullied him. His mother nagged. His father was never home. Norman desperately wished for a miracle, but his prayers went unanswered. Until one night. **************************************** Note: This story is going to be very short. I would recommend reading it all at once. This story started out as a challenge I set for myself. I've recently felt bogged down because of the need to write more. That's why each chapter will be only 300 words long. Exactly 300 words long. At this point, I've pretty much written the whole thing, so I'm very confident that there will only be eight chapters.

Warden of Success - A LitRPG
In the future of Earth humans are no longer the dominant species. Monsters, vampires, elves and all manners of otherworldly threats now threaten the planet and its people. And for one such as Camille, there was nothing she could do. A failed martial artist, Camille swallowed her pride and dreams, all the while sinking into the world of video games. Until she died. Reawakening with newfound power in her very own bed, there's no doubting that she's an oddity. And as the only individual in the world with the body of a video game character, she's ecstatic. No longer will she just be content with playing games in her dark room, taking over fantasy worlds as a great heroine. Rather, she'll do something better. And that'll be to take over the real one instead. Whether it be mages, demons or other supernatural entities that stand in her way, it doesn't matter. Camille may be a level one at first, but dammit if she wasn't going to try to reach one hundred. This is not a crunchy LitRPG and gradually becomes more of a character driven story that just happens to have a main character with LitRPG abilities. There will be a variety of powers/abilities that are explored later in the setting involving magic systems and other technological advancements. The first 10 chapters were written with satirical undertones, but begin to develop more into its own entity after that.
