Scarlet was leading Moniker by the hand to the academy. He was still flying so everyone thought he was some sort of specialized mage. They were giving looks of curiosity and envy. The robe that he was wearing far better quality than the ones the academy gave out. The uniform robes a white base and a light blue trim. The professors wore a robe with a black base and a dark blue trim. Not even the director wore a robe as outstanding as his.

"Don't worry about them staring at you. You'll be fine since your with me. You could say I'm sort of... famous."

Scarlet calmed Moniker who was nervous at the time. Then she took him to her favorite professor. Professor Isabel was going to evaluate him. If he passed then he wouldn't need to go to the academy.

They arrived and what met them was a blond woman with long hair and blue eyes. There was a nametag on the desk that read "Professor Isabel".

"Is this him?"

"No one else floats around everywhere. By the way... do you recognize his race?"

"Not at all. Alright then, first I will test what he can and can't use. The Academy hands out magic readers for situations like this!"

She grabbed ahold of Monikers' hand and put it on the grey orb. When she saw that nothing changed her expression changed from anticipation to disappointment. Scarlet then spoke on his behalf.

"His magic stat is also zero, but he can use the most amazing magic ever!"

The professor more intrigued ever asked:

"May I see?"

Scarlet with a large smile on her face turned to Moniker who was reading a book off of the highest shelf that one normally needed a ladder for. She spoke.

"Moniker, can you do something amazing for me?"

"...?"

Scarlet began to look even more excited before explaining to him.

"Something that you like. Remember?"

A bell rang in Moniker's head. He knew exactly what to show her. Moniker raised his hand and a white portal appeared from thin air.

"What!?"

Moniker gestured for the two to follow him. Scarlet was ecstatic and practically jumped through the portal to follow him. The professor soon followed although somewhat reluctantly.
