She can only remember the concealment of her vision, the feeling of warmth and affection. Still, no matter how she tries, the power to open her eyes was lost to her. Like straining against oneself, the instinctive reaction not to move, not to…. to... that was a foreign concept, drawing something in and out of oneself. The sensation that it’s not time yet. Newfangled.
Over the following indeterminable amount of time, she tended between the world and the land of dreams. Sometime later, she found herself wriggling, struggling to break free of the eternal darkness. To break the unending cycle between sleep and wakefulness. She pushed herself forward, closer and closer to something complex.
Tap.
At first, she had thought it would be hard to break. She had expected it to be a hardened shell since it was her prison.
And yet, she broke through the interior of the hardened shell so quickly; she didn’t even realize she was finally free. Only the words that filled her head made her know that she was alive. No! Hatch!

These words resounded not as a voice but as a breadth of information that she intuitively knew: Her name is Nezintic, and she is a Faerie dragon hatchling.
Nezintic could tell from the weird words and her body.
She had a long, prehensile tail and platinum-colored, butterfly-like wings. Her scales were a mixture of Red, Green, Pink, and Violet iridescent colors.
That are reflecting each other. Then, satisfied with the exploration of her body, Nezintic looked around.
Other baby dragons were standing around, looking at themselves. Each one having pretty scales, but she was the only one to have multiple colors. Nezintic instinctively knows that these dragons were male and relatively weaker than her. She can tell by a glance...

She raised her head and sniffed the air. Most of the egg smells were older than her own. She could tell she was one of the last to hatch.
In a manner of seconds, she counts 200 baby dragons. Nezintic was the first to notice it. The female hatchling looks up and sees an enormously more comprehensive dragon of iridescent pinkish red.
The area up above the dragon was beautiful. It was dark, with ever-changing colors and puffy clouds, creating all kinds of formations. The round object in the black area seems to make the flying dragon even more prominent and breathtaking.
She felt no aversion to contemplating upon this massive creature alternatively;, she felt a connection. This was her mother.
“Oh, my babies have been born! I hope you guys like fish.”
Every single one of the dragon hatchlings raced over to greet their mother. Even though they have no idea what their mother is saying.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
