《Dragons Dogma: Chaos & Order》Chapter 0: Prologue; Chaos is Born

It’s… dark. What happened with the lights? Was it sleeping?
This type of dark... When you close your eyes on a sunny day. The same way you can’t remember when a dream started, it could not remember when it woke up; it just was, as a light suddenly turned on.
This weird.
Crack.
He struggled to free himself, desiring to leave the cramped space of his egg. Yet, he could sense something significant, warm, and safe just outside. All he wanted was to break free and meet the enormous presence that felt familiar, even though he’d known nothing but the inside of this egg.
Crack.
A hole breached the shell as he jerked his head up against the top. Excitement ran through his blood. He was so close. Just a little more, and he’d be free.
Crunch!
Summoning every ounce of strength in his tiny body, he used his tail to push up and ram into the top once more. And this time, he forced his entire head through the minor breach he’d made.
He sucked in his first breath of fresh air and opened his eyes wide. The surrounding space was enormous, dark, and lit with a low purple glow of something warm and flickering. It intrigued him, so he sought to get closer, but his attempt to walk resulted in his egg falling over. He squeaked in surprise. He’d forgotten that only his head and neck were free, not the rest of his body. At least the ground was soft. He briefly wondered if he should fall asleep, but a mixture of instinct and curiosity kept him awake.
Soon, words come to his mind.

Radais fell flat on his back, breaking the rest of the egg as a fresh wave of information rushed into his head. An element he can’t describe filled his body, and his body grew?
Radais stared at the screen. He doesn’t understand what it is. The screen in front of him. But all he knows is that no one needs to tell him that his name is Radais — Radais was simply Radais.
There was a deep rumbling, but it seemed… nonaggressive. In fact, it was laughing.
“Oh, little one, however, do you plan to go anywhere like that?”
He rolled the egg, so he was on his back. At first, the strange voice alarmed him, but it quickly replaced his fear with calm. He knew this creature, even if he’d never seen it.
The scary voice was relaxing?
A vast, dark black thing head loomed over him. The red eyes gazed down at him softly with deep affection.
The creature snorted with amusement, its voice light. “Do you need help, little one?”
“Don’t help him, Dusk. A drake fights his own battles.”
The unfamiliar voice was far more profound, more masculine. More demonic sounding... Big! And it was more intimidating than the first one. As he looked to the side, he realized the second creature had a much greater bulk than the first. His body was covered in black, round scales, which were decorated with spiraling blue markings.
“Oh, Enurto, can’t you see how eager he is?” the first voice chided, “He wasn’t supposed to hatch for another week. But he’s already out and seeking the rabbit I placed for him. I’ve never seen a hatchling come out that early. I know you haven’t, either.”
“All the more reason to let him break free on his own.” Enurto grunted, “He’ll get even stronger because of it.”

Radais didn’t pay attention to the big things anymore. All he knows right now is that he is hungry. But then, he sees a creature on the floor a few inches away from him and grasped what he needed to do.
Snapping his jaws forward with hungered frenzy, he clamped down on the meat, ripping and slicing with sharp teeth and claws despite his small stature even compared to the rabbit. The twelve inches handling ate the rabbit like it was his last meal.
As Radais ate, he understood what those words meant. If he has a full belly. Then he would passively gain exp until he reached the maximum level.
Not that he minded. This food was stuff was pretty tasty. These bones are delicious too...
Ding~
Radais nearly choked on his last piece when he heard a noise.

Questions for later… now he just needs rest.
My sister is a big fan of Dota and lord of the rings, so this is her idea based on Runescape, I think... not too sure.

All things are. We once dreamed of a sky filled with possibilities. Of neverending knowledge. But those were conceited times, filled with quibbling. Now we look up and fear the vastness. We fear that there’s no edge to infinity. Humanity pulled itself together. Not like you’d expect, not like you’d approve of, but the results are spectacular. We call ourselves Utopians now, to make it simple for our kin in the cosmos. We’ve moved out into the Omniverse, to unlimited resources, and to dominance over the weak. Not for gain, but to the ends of permanence and peace. The cessation of their suffering. At the apex, looking down on those confined, those unenlightened, we felt safe. So few stand shoulder to shoulder with us. Fewer yet of them are so united as we. Porter, a godkiller for the Eidolons, is out of the job. Christopher, a Magus in the Guild, has him a new one, but with motives questionable. Kendall, a failing student at the Monastery, has to deal with secrets he never wanted. Anna, her entire life just fell apart, leaving her bereft. And Doran, he awakens.
