"Phew...that was unexpected," Shun grunted and panting after a long fight. "I didn't expect monsters would stop us from getting snacks."
"Let's get out of here." Rai whispered. "Monsters might eat us like snacks."
"Calm down idiot, don't make any noise." Shun whispered, glancing at Rai.
"Is it really okay that we broke into their place and steal so much food?" Rai spoked. "The cops might get us."
"It's fine, It's fine, the cops are not around, we can do whatever we want!" Shun responded as they walked out of the grocery store, carrying some snacks and crackers.

"Let's see, MAP!" Rai commanded.
[NOTICE]
MAP ACTIVATED
"Ehh, there's a map?" Shun mumbled.
"You didn't know?" Rai started navigating into the holographic screen.
"Almost 60% of the whole Tokyo has changed, including the name and structures." Shun whimpered as he glanced at the map.
"Is this really Tokyo? There's so many places has changed, I don't know what is what and which is which..." Rai responded. "We wouldn't find what we're looking for, at this rate."
"What are those red areas on the map?" Shun questioned after noticing.
"Those are danger zones, danger zones are mostly consist of D-rank monsters...Players or Monsters, anyone can battle in the danger zones" Rai slowly explained.
"So the safe zones are obviously the opposite, right?" Shun shooked his head.
"Yeah, safe zones are the places where battles are not allowed. Players can take a rest in the safe zones, but there's an exception!..." Rai suddenly change his tone.

"Exception? What?" Shun curiously glanced at him.
"If a player challenged another player or if a monster manage to break in the barrier. Remember that every safe and danger zones in the map are constantly changing according to the monster's movements!" Rai explained as they started walking again.
"That's a bit scary, like if a slept in the safe zone and it changes to a danger zone, a monster will kill me asleep?" Shun questioned.
"Yes, we're in Shibuya right now, the quickest way is to take this rote, straight ahead." Rai mumbled.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Shun uttered, giving him a confused look.
"Noting! Let's continue moving forward, there's a large scale danger zone ahead, that probably it!" Rai responded.
"The raging cheetah, you mean?" Shun mumbled.
"We're both wizards, we'll definitely die," Rai murmured as they approached the deep end of darkness.
"Man calm down, your trembling!" Shun patted his back.
"Just how strong is that monster?" Shun questioned.
"D-rank, but it's fast as hell." Rai responded.
"It's already 11 PM, I wonder what happened to the other players.." Shun suddenly wondered.
"They're obviously dead!" Rai responded.
"There are over 243 million people in Japan that's impossible that they all died!" Shun mumbled.
[WARNING]
YOU'VE ENTERED A DANGER ZONE...
"Then they might be hunting to level up!....huh?"
Rai suddenly stopped moving and quietly signalled Shun to stop.
"Why?" Shun whispered while looking around them.
"We entered the danger zone, something is coming!" Rai whispered back.
"Wusshhh" Shun heard something, rushing near him.
[NOTICE]
DAMAGE RECEIVED
HP: 591/1200
"Huh? Why?... " Shun wondered after seeing the blood dripping from his left arm.
"That thing is faster than we expected, Shun!" Rai replied in a trembling tone. "We didn't expect to meet him this early, sh*t."
Shun anchored his attention to Rai as he saw him dripping with blood coming from his legs. He can literally see his HP dropping by looking at the player indicator above their head. The light skill that he casted was cancelled due to the damage he received.

"We underestimated it," Rai mumbling and panting. "Run,"
"Oii Idiot, your HP..." Shun muttered.
"I'm alright, just run! We can't fight it! I can't even use my lightning speed." Rai responded in trembling tone.
"What the hell is this overwhelming pressure, it felt like I'm going to die if I move even an inch" Rai thought.
"Damn it, where is it!" Shun screamed in his head.
Shun with all the courage, started to look around him, looking for the monster. Shun quickly pulled Rai and hide in the corner.
"Turn off the light, idiot!" Shun whispered. "Can you stand up?" Shun worriedly asked.
"I can, at least!" Rai replied. "Do you... have a-augh... plan?" Rai groaned in pain.
"I suppose that monster is the type of monster that gets stronger as it continuously attack." Shun answered. "It seems like we're not the first one to get here. Now that I think about it, this place reeks with blood, not to mention this silence " Shun added.
"That means that monster killed anyone who enters here!" Rai cowered.
"Eahh, we should be careful! In one hit I lost almost 100 HP, I can't afford to die here!" Shun uttered.
"[Kurokatta]" Shun chanted, pulling his weapon out of his inventory.
[INVENTORY]
Black Cutter: Kurokatta
+16 physical damage
"Move, we need to hide in the narrow corner!" Shun whispered.
"That thing needs space in order to have a great velocity and momentum, we're killing it in this narrowed corner!" Shun explained.
"Or we can be cornered here and get devoured by that terrifying monster.." Rai cowered.
"Mai, do you have any other skills to use?" Shun questioned before staring fixedly in the darkness.
"Who the hell are you talking to?" Rai annoyingly responded.
"You're name was Mai, right?" Shun answered.
"Rai! My name is Raiii!" Rai vexed. "Anyway, I have a skill that can deal high damage, but it takes a while to cast and used almost all of my mana." Rai added.
"That's it, that's definitely our last hope, were using it!" Shun responded as they sit into the dark corner, waiting patiently.
"Okay, that's what you said!" Rai agreed.
"Okay let's split up, I'm gonna be the decoy this time!" Shun explained and started walking out of the corner.
"Wait, what?" Rai tilted his head.
"We're changing plan," Shun whined, giving Rai a cold glare. "If you're using lightning, it would be a bad idea to fight in this corner. I don't wanna zapped together with that thing." Shun mumbled. "Don't worry, I'm smart ya know! I'll figure something out." Shun lifted his chin and grin.
"I'm not good at playing with cats, but if my intuition was right, then it our win. Shun grinned as he walked into the deepest and darkest side of the road.
"Damn, I should've stole a flashlight from that store earlier!" Shun mumbled as he stand in the middle of the darkness. "What's up with this annoying silence."
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr" Shun can hear the growling sound from the darkness and he knew what comes next. From a distance, he noticed the two burning red eyes observing him from the darkness. That moment, Shun knew that he's fucked up.

Genesis Wave
Skills, Attributes, and Experience. These are familiar elements to any tabletop RPG. Jack is intimately familiar with these terms from years of playing games, so he is shocked and excited when the entire world is integrated into a system governed by those elements. Follow Jack as he works to understand and navigate the new world around him. From heartbreaking losses to amazing experiences, Jack's life will never be the same. A slow build, slice of life. Blue Mage MC who learns skills from monsters. Skills are not intuitively known and must be trained to be able to use properly. This is not a rapid rise to power story. It's more of a pseudo-Isekai. As the setting quickly changes to a Fantasy one. (with elements of steampunk and sci-fi but not until much later) The story does not get very adventure-y until chapter 17.

The Chronicle of a Witch
It is a story about a young girl that abruptly transmigrated into the body of another young girl (at least in appearance) in another world filled with Magic. She notices that she becomes a Dungeon Master and for a thousand years... she lives a lazy life. However, one day, she lost all of her power and she is kicked out of her Dungeon! And the world's changed that video games level and classes governed the power system of the new world! What will she do as a weak and fragile girl? Will she get her power back? How will she survive in the harsh world? Author's note: I will update daily if possible and each chapter is around 2,000 words. Gores, Sexual Contents, and Traumatising Contents are limited and I try my best not to write them. However, for the progress of the story, I can't help but write some of them in the latter part of the story. However, don't expect them too much ^_^ English is not my native language, so there might be grammatical errors (maybe a lot), but I'll try to fix them, so constructive critiques will be appreciated (^_^)

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
