"There's a story behind it, I can tell you if you want, I'm free anyways." Said the middle aged man with enthusiasm.

"I am all ears." Said Fionn with interest.

Then the middle aged man started narrating while Fionn listened.

"Cloud Winson, descended from a noble family who possessed the bloodline of a rank-three beast Avatar called Toxic Lindworm."

"The fact that makes Winson family stand out the most is that their bloodline has a trace of dragon blood, due to Lindworms being dragonborns." Said the middle aged man with a lot of respect.

[A.N- Google Lindworm for envisioning. ]

" Even the King has voiced his envy for their Bloodline." Continued the middle aged man.

"Cloud Winson the eldest son of current patriarch of Winson family was deemed a genius since he was a 5 years old due to his extraordinary intelligence, later he also proved his talents in martial arts by outperforming his peers."

" It seemed like everything was going well for Cloud Winson until the day of his Awakening." Said the middle aged man with a regretful sigh.

"Did he not awaken the Toxic Lindworm?"questioned Fionn.

" It would have been better if he didn't Awaken, " said the middle aged man with a sigh.

"Have you heard the term Regenesis." Asked the middle-aged man in a solemn tone.

"Did he experienced Regenesis?" Asked Fionn, stunned.

Regenesis is an extremely rare condition that has happened only to individuals who were born with a bloodline due to extreme incompatibility with their avatar and there is just a 0.05% chance of this happening.

As we know that a Lineage Avatars slowly transforms its host's body as He/she ranks up while giving the host time to adapt and controlling the changes to a certain extent, but During Regenisis the avatar attempts to forcefully alter his host body to his needs during the awakening process.

[A.N- If you guys read the term lineage Avatars it means I am referring to Incarnation, Dendroid and Beasts Avatars collectively.]

There are two terrible side effects of Regenisis:-

First, the host and the Avatar would merge completely, resulting in a completely new individual with a messed up personality.

Second, The individual would lose the ability to sense mana hence incapable of using magic.

The only thing the individual would earn after Regenesis would be an immense physical force, so people in this world view Regenisis as a disaster because mana is everything in this world, if you can't use it, you can never accomplish anything significant in your life.

"Yes, he did, " replied the middle aged man with a sigh.

"Did he become insane after that?" Asked Fionn with interest.

"He hasn't gone completely insane, but he's developed a bizarre obsession," said the middle-aged man with a laugh.

"What kind of obsession?" asked Fionn, annoyed with the secretive behaviour of the middle-aged man.

Sensing the impatience of the other party, the middle aged man started explaining" he likes to crush the emerging talents and all those amongst his peers who appear superior to him in anyway ."

"The authorities did nothing about this?" Asked Fionn, blandly.

"Why would they, he never goes overboard with his actions & it's a good thing for youngsters to compete." Said the middle aged man.

Nodded Fionn with understanding.

Suddenly, a flow of customers began to enter the restaurant.

Fionn, noticing the situation got up and extending his hand said "It has been a pleasure to converse with you sir."

"The feeling is mutual," said the middle-aged man as he shook Fionn's hand.

Fionn then left the restaurant and started following the directions provided by the middle-aged man.

After a walk of around 30mins Fionn reached a Plaza, which is not much crowded.

"So, this is the public teleportation station" thought Fionn while looking at the building in front of him, it was three stories high and was built on approximately 3 acres of land.

Just as Fionn was about to enter the building, a guy came flying towards him and landed near his feet.

Shortly afterwards a maniacal laugh rang out as a man dressed in black approached.

While examining the scenario and the appearance of the person Fionn guessed the identity of the man in black.
