"I cant sleep"
- Carving in the wall of the cell 211 of the Prison of Newfoundland
the terrain chosen was a small rocky clearing about half a day on foot from the mermaid lake. even though it was not as far away as Siegfried recommended it would work, during the last week while hunting monsters they also used that time to scout out the area around the giant lake.
after confirming this with the Queen and getting her permission they decided to head first.
By the time they arrived it surprised them how the scenery had changed. the Mermaid clan had built a couple of crude roof tops and benches for the bout, half of them where already drunk and cheered as one of the contestants arrived, the other half where ether busy or did not cared that much. Brandon asked himself if the mermaid tribe had used a teleport skill to move all this people here in such short notice. Something he would need to inquire in the future.
The mermaid warrior arrived in full scale armor that covered every inch of his body from neck to toe, the scales had an azure color to them and shined beautifully under the sun. Jack could not perceive a single trace of cockiness or arrogance in the Young triton.
After bowing slightly to Jack as a greeting they parted ways without saying a word, each to a shadow casted by some tent roofs erected for the preparation of the warriors situated on opposite sides of the arena.
Brandon had suspected that this would be a big event but this was far more elaborated than he imagined. he was starting to get nervous.
"so what would be your weapon of choice, if you chose spear he will go with his trident" Siegfried downed his cup and eructed slightly. Brandon started to suspect that Siegfried was an alcoholic, they even had a joke where they would ask Siegfried if he was feeling sick if they found him without a cup on his hand.

"fists" Jack had decided to use his boxing skills to win this, even though it would prolong the fight for far to long he had more confidence in his advanced ability than in his spear wielding, a skill that he learned less than a month ago. and to make it worst most of the time he just used his size advantage to overpower the opponents rather than outmatch them with skill.
even though he was advised otherwise by his companions since he was on the disadvantage, it was a fight to exhaustion, and he being under leveled made it more likely that he would wind out sooner than the enemy.
This was possible, but it was not certain. skills and titles influence more the stats than actual level, and the two brothers really have good skills and even unique titles.
A man in fancy robes walked to the center of the arena and rose his hands to quiet down the rowdy crowd. his speech was carried with the wind, a strong and resonating voice that could be heard by everyone, more than likely it was a skill.
After introducing the two fighters by name he waited for them to approach.
" A duel to the death for the Hand of the Princess!" he exclaimed and the crowd cheered.
"The Defender will now declare weapons" they where explained beforehand that this was done right before the match so the challenger did not have the advantage of preparing beforehand. Seems like Duel to Death rules of this world really worked against the challenger, and helped the defender... In a sense it was the right approach, if you consider something worth to kill for, you are the one who has to take the risk.
"Fists" said jack while tossing his spear back, Brandon who was standing some 15 feet back caught it midair and walked away towards the tent.

there was death silence, some of the people in the crowd seemed to have stopped breathing.
"say that again?" the Referee did not believed what he heard
"Fists is my weapons choice, passive and active skills are allowed as the ground rules stipulates" said while raising his guard.
they where explained that you can not prohibit the use of skills during a duel, only chose weapons
"The Defender Chooses Fists as Weapons" Said the Referee with an almost shaky voice.
the silence was broken by the Queens laugh while she dismissed the whole ordeal allowing it to happen. the triton node and gave his trident to a small boy that came running to fetch it for him, before the boy could run back the triton took out his armored gauntlets and also handed them over.
the fight starter without much anticipation after the Referee moved away to a safe distance.
"fight!" the triton lounged at Jack with a seizer like motion and with his hands extended he went for the neck, Jack was able to dodge it by using shadowstep, an active skill that makes you teleport to the shadow of a being or a thing, witch situated him to the immediate left of the triton, by the time he appeared he was midway throwing an uppercut.
the triton only had time to twist his head to look at Jack before the hit landed on his chin. while using Shadow Strike a second hit landed on the Tritons throat doubling down the damage and strength of the hit raising him from the ground a few inches and making him stumble back.
Jack did not lost a single second and pressed on the advance while waving his head Tyson style. he saw the hook coming and ducked down, immediately he threw a right to the body right where the pancreas in a human would be, this instinctively made the triton lower his guard, exactly what Jack wanted and expected to happen, an overhead left landed on the shoulder blade of the Triton, Jack clearly missed his mark because the triton Moved a little to the right.
while taking two quick and surprisingly long jumps backwards he was at least 15 feet away from jack, he shook his head as to clear it, and spited some blood out of his mouth. Jack noticed it was of blue color, a smile appeared in his face and for the first time they heard him speak
"Nice!" Adoras had a Deep yet kind voice, back on earth he would probably could been a singer, a very popular one judging by how handsome he was.
Jack had a feeling that the real fight would start now.

Project G00
|Nanopunk |Crafting | Detailed Science and experiments | Inner thoughts | Bio-Robots | Evolution | Infodumps | Tell not Show | Insane to Sane | Slow and Detailed Pace | Puddle to Unknown | Artificial Intelligence | Trans-humanism | Bad Jokes | Moving 'Dungeon' Core | Hi! I am G00. I am a project made by some weirdo. Some may refer to me as the wobbly thing in the fridge or the slimy thing in the ceiling. Others might tell you about that sticky thing inside your nose. In the end, they called me the Seed of Life, yet didn’t tell me what I was supposed to become. Furthermore, it just happens that this stage was the most miserable place to reincarnate... Reincarnate as in… What the hell did I become?! (Whispers) You are a puddle. A puddle? (Whispers) Yes. C’mon little guy, say your lines! You’re live right now! Welcome to puddle-springs aka the afterlife of a puddle. CUT! Eh? Why?! No edition or photoshop needed?! We’re short on puddle-staff. The camera is broken, I am broken, and you are broken. Wait! How can a puddle be broken? You are not a puddle, you are frozen yogurt. NOOOOOOOOOO! Additional summary: Spoiler: Spoiler Humanity has finally made the second step towards space. Many developments were taking place at the time this happened. All of them accomplished thanks to nanotechnology. Inventions regarding Artificial Intelligence and nanorobotics created the opportunity, a way to terraform planets by sending nanorobots to space. Their orders? Colonizing and preparing the new worlds before humanity's arrival, aka terraforming. Meet G00, a weird agglomeration of nanomachines. A bit stupid, but it's not because he was like that. The little guy... 'He' is really broken. The hardest start of a story is when language is oddly misunderstood, when you know nothing of the place you just arrived; when your companion is a buggy system, and when you have to repair yourself with whatever trash you can scavenge from your surroundings. All of this while you fight your worst enemy: potatoes? What will you do in an unfamiliar circumstance where nothing is what it seems and where you won't even understand the boring ramblings of a confused main character? Well, patience will... probably have a reward? Additional tags and disclaimers: Read before starting the story: Harem: Not included for the moment, depends on characters added, votes by readers, and things that happen on the go. Magic: Far away chapters maybe... as part of high level or non-understandable things by science. Slice of life: Probably some parts will include it. Disclaimer #1: Crazy amount of content about high-tech info-dumps, slow pace, starts with biology and nanotechnology. Might have some weird jokes and puns. Game bugs are also possible. Disclaimer #2: No puddles were harmed during the making of this story. No character is real, no real puddle was used as part of the cast. Character is stupid at the start on purpose but he will get beta and beta. All written content follows a logical approach no matter how stupid it appears to be, maybe… Because it’s just a raccoon splashing some cotton-candy over a puddle after it was thrown. Yup, a bully raccoon with rabies or so it seems.

The Blessed Princess
Long long ago, there was a time of eternal harmony, when pain and anguish ceased to exist. The world was united as one under the rule of a glorious goddess. To sustain peace, she destroyed herself, and her remnants scattered throughout the lands and into the souls of her people. Her last words were to her daughter, the goddess of love, whom she had cherished, "Though I cannot fix the mistakes I've made, I can wish my people to be happy. No more endless pain. No more raging wars. Love, please. Save my world. Restore hope into the eyes of those I've created." She became the forgotten goddess after her world lost its ruler. First Princess Azulia was born a human with a shocking resemblance to the forgotten goddess. Her hair was ink black, and her eyes glimmered like priceless sapphires. Her features were uncanny in similarity to the goddess, even in the way she held herself. Though the goddess's eyes were more like icicles, Azulia's resemblance was enough to make you think twice. Azulia was raised with the mindset that she would be the future Empress of Hydrangea. It was a destiny placed out in front of her and carefully sorted out. Those around her directed her life like a pawn. Until one day, comes the beak of time, and her destiny points in another direction. Azulia must learn to break the tension her family shapes and create a destiny of her own. Her world depends on it, even if it means she must destroy herself.

In the world of Masks and Capes
The DC universe has been trampled time and time again. Although certainties have been fixed, there would be one to settle the raging sea of chaos and bring balance. To introduce the raging drunken idiot of the former clan, into the world of Heroes and Villains. (A bit of a mix over along with some things, but mostly on DC) (Please note, MC is intentionally written as an idiot. Dumb decisions will be exaggerated...)

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
