Chapter 14- Had enough?
"Hey, do we have to do this?"
With trees in the surroundings, a young man stared at the tranquil water surface of the lake. Behind him, a black haired woman looks at the young man as she said.
"Yes, I know you are stronger than me, so please fight me with your full strength."
The young man sigh, he felt powerless as he can no longer pretend as a normal boy. He actually felt vexed, if he didn't help this woman he will not be troubled as of today. Having no choice but to accept the reality, he faces the woman with a serious expression.
"Be careful as I will not be gentle."
The woman stared at the young man and said. "Bring it on, Gabriel!"
Gabriel disappeared on his position, as he appeared in front of her, Hinata yells out in surprise "So fast."
She countered using a slash aiming at his head when her wooden katana hit him, the katana went through his body. When she realized that it was afterimage, she used her six sense to find him. When her six sense caught the figure of his opponent, she turned her head on the right side and saw him smiling at her.
A sudden attack to her shoulder appeared as she felt that this attack cannot be dodged using the strength of her body. She used Moonlight to dodge, but when she was about to sigh in relief, she felt a hand grabbing her foot. She looks at Gabriel in panic, as she used her strengthening skill to escape from his grasp.
Gabriel smiled, he exerted a bit forced tossing her in a nearby tree. Because of the powerful throw, Hinata felt a sweet sensation in her mouth as she throws some blood. Her body penetrated the trees and hit a big rock, leaving a small crater in it.

Hinata used her katana to support herself, she was now using her full strength. She used her skill of strengthening and her qi, her battle power increased ten times as she charges at him.
"Gabriel, you are powerful more than I thought, but now I am using my full strength, let's see if you can contend with me."
"Ho." Gabriel exclaim, as he was surprised to see that she can already harmonize mana and qi to her body. 'A prodigy indeed.' He thought.
"But using that strength can only force me on using my 1% of strength."
Hinata swung her katana on his neck, she also made 14 illusion of herself to confuse him. She looks at Gabriel and saw his calmness as he was still smiling at him, her attack was about to hit his opponent's neck.
"What the hell."
Gabriel used his hand to grab the wooden katana and disperse its strength. She wants to recover her weapon but found out that she can't shake off his opponent's grasp. "A pity."
He used his finger to block her vessel locking her body for moving. "Had enough?"
"Did you train in your mother's womb!? You even know finger technique!"
"Haha, For a genius things like that are child play."
Hinata spurts a mouthful of blood, as she thought herself as a greatest genius of the century. Seeing him, she felt like a mouse looking at the lion, she looks at him with hate as she said. " I had enough so can you please release me?"
Using his finger technique, Hinata felt the control of her body return to her. She looks at Gabriel, as she felt her heart beating faster than normal, she had a sudden desire to follow this man.

"Don't tell anyone about my ability or else I will hate you," Gabriel said as he smiled at her. Immersed, Hinata nodded unconsciously.
In a Queen's room, Claudia walks to the balcony to get some breathing, a wry smile hung on her face as she looks at the documents on her desk. "Your Majesty."
Claudia glanced at Claire as she smiled at her.
"I already told you to put down the formalities when we are alone."
Claire shook her head. "I can't, Your Majesty."
Claudia didn't insist anymore, as she knew her friend will not obey her words when it's come to formalities.
"How is he?"
"Who are you talking about, your Majesty?"
"Aree, did that boy did something that made you hate him that much."
Claire gritted her teeth as she remembers the time with that pervert, she clenches her fist and said. "Your majesty, that boy was only a pervert nothing more."
"Hmm, I knew you for a long time, so I know that you use the training as an excuse to beat him. But when I saw him this morning he was fine and lively as ever, what happened?"
Claire said in disdain. "I hate to admit it, but that damn brat was agile as a fox, I can't even hit him instead he has taken advantage of me!"
"Oh, so he's smart and also a fighter. Quite a shame, he can't learn magic."
"Tsk, him learning Magic will only make more pervert."
"Aha, this is the first time I saw you pay attention to a single man."
"Don't joke around, your Majesty, I have nothing but hate towards that brat."
"Anyway, how's the planting of potato and corn is it?"
"Well, how should I say."
Seeing Claire reaction, Claudia started to get nervous as she doesn't want to a terrible accident. She explained the result of planting when she saw the anxious and nervous on her face.
"Your Majesty, you don't have to worry, the planting was successful. In fact, it was more successful than we thought when we plant those vegetables a strange thing happen."
"What kind of thing?"
"When those things entered the ground, those things absorbed the mana of the land. Along with the disappearance of mana those multiplied and spread at the farm."
Stunned, Claudia stared at Claire with proving expression.
"I am dumbfounded as well, Your Majesty. Now the crisis of starvation is completely resolved. Sigh, we can now spread those things to nearby villages so that our stack will pile out for the coming winter.'
"Who is this Gabriel?"
"A pervert, Your Majesty."
"Sigh, Claire, if he was only a pervert how can he produce those kinds of things."
When Claudia said that, she noticed Gabriel and Hinata walking inside the forest. She looks in their direction as she realizes that they are entering the sacred lake of their protector. Claudia's face turned pale, Claire, who was by her side noticed her reaction and as she asks.
"Are you fine? What happened, Your Majesty?"
"Claire, let's go, Hinata-sama and Gabriel-sama entered the lake. If they manage to anger our protector those will die."
Claudia jumped in the window and started running towards the lake. Claire followed behind as she muttered.
"Troublesome brat indeed."

Beneath No Sky: Chronicles of the Atmospheric Sector
After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama. Covenant Sinners: The Origin of a Demon Queen
Demon-slayer knight Hector Aeronwen became an enemy of all humankind after saving a dying half-demon girl out of pity. Little did he know, his impulsive action had forever changed the course of the world and the fates of many. This is the story about Hector's desperate quest and the beginning of the demoness whose destiny is to shake the world to its very foundation. Author's note: At the risk of spoiling too much of this story, I want to reveal a bit about the core idea behind this work of fiction. I set out with the idea to write a story in the perspective of the second in command of a demon lord, which then would be followed up with large scale kingdom buildings and warring states. But then I asked myself: what past do they have between them for the Demon Lord to have so much faith in her second in command, and for him to be so loyal to such a horrible being? So this is my attempt at writing the origin of those two, who, while hated by all races in the world, still have each other as the only confidant to entrust their life to. If you are like me and want to see where this premise, with a vague destination in mind, will lead to, please have a read and give me your valued feedback!
