Escape & Knowledge

Earth might not have been that livable after the invasion of Chloros family but still many people were living while hiding from them. But now that Chloros family was in space I thought If I go back somehow I would be able to find some place to live there and spend my days peacefully. I was even about to give up destroying this ship and wanted to return to earth using its help. It wasn’t impossible to hijack this ship as long as I could defeat the General. But the scene before me crushed my heart. In the screen I could see a planet with a few traces of blue in it. It was none other than Earth. The planet also called Blue Planet was like a barren wasteland. The cubed ship, that are called energy cubes, had sucked most of the energy and natural sources from earth. After few seconds few thousand battleships that were standing still suddenly start to open fire. The continuous barrage of attack reached even the core of earth. After few seconds all of them stopped. The earth had massive craters in it. I could see a lot of smoke rising from various places. In the centre, the crater was much more bigger and deep. Lava was flowing through there. When I thought they would leave after that, some of the battleships moved forward. There was something like a cannon coming from their front. It started gather energy inside it. I exactly knew what they were going to do.

I wanted to stop them. I wanted to yell at the top of my lungs. But it wouldn’t do anything. It was just a footage. After a while all of the battleships fired the energy beam simultaneously. That blast destroyed the core of the earth. After a while earth started to crumble. It scattered into many pieces. They started to float independently while some got hit with moon. The Earth was no more.

There might not have been much but there still people in there. It was the place where I was borne. I never thought that they would even go as far as to destroy it completely. And right now I was supposed to feel a little sad, Damn it. I didn’t know what kind of face I was making right now but I didn’t want to know to be honest. I didn’t want to be a person, who could watch his home and resting place of his loved ones, getting destroyed Calmly. The place where I was right now was on the tiny fragment of my emotion, which I had saved, before it could completely vanish, and this was the only place I could feel any type of emotion but even after watching my home get destroyed I couldn’t feel sadness. At that place I quietly watched the footage. Mei didn’t say anything. Even after the video was stopped I couldn’t stop staring at it.

Right now my mind was very conflicted. I clearly sorted out my thoughts.

What was it that I wanted to do?

I wanted to go home.

What happened to my home?

It was destroyed.

Who did it?

Those Damn Invaders.

What should I do to them?

Wipe them out.

I accepted my new personality. If I had to be cruel to destroy them, I will be cruel. Right now I didn’t wanted to feel that pain and sadness. Rather I was glad my emotion were no more because it would have only hinder me in the path I was choosing. Only after wiping out the whole Chloros family, I would try to get my emotion back.

However the only problem was my power wasn’t enough. I had to deal with many people in case anyone found out. I had restricted my every move so that they wouldn’t find about my abilities. But I think that’s Enough. Now that I need to increase my power, staying restricted is no longer my option.

“Mei..”

“Yes, Master”

“When will we arrive near the Red Castle?”

“In approximately five hours.”

“What is the condition of my body?”

“This body will only last for forty-eight hours. But if you use any of your powers it will be reduced significantly. ”

Mei answers from my side. Even if I got myself freed from this tube, there will be many problems that I need to deal with. So, let’s go back to the classic Assassination. The fact that Dr. Otto was secretly experimenting on me and had me moved into this secret chamber will also help me. I don’t know how he is stalling the general but I have to use this chance to make my move.

“Mei. What is the location of the general right now?”

“He is currently on the pilot cabinet, commanding the ship with various higher rank officer.”

“Track his every move from now on. I might be able to take care of any other soldier but I can’t win against him in this body.”

I will make my move as soon as we come near the Red Castle. I still have time till then. Mei said she accessed many other files, so I should take a look at them too.

“What else did you find in their servers?”

“They had thoroughly investigated data on The Red King and Constitutions of his power. I also found some data on Head of Chloros Family, Seth Chloros and few other information on The Valkyries. They had many data on other experiments, abilities, different species, and so on. ”

“They do, Huh! Tell me about the former two.”

When I said that she finally opens her eyes and moves to the side of the big screen in front of me. It seems she will explain it to me using the screen. After that I could see some type of black energy shown in the screen.

“First, The Red King.

Species: Draconian Bloodline

There isn’t much personal information on him but it is confirmed that those two draconian beings are relatives of his. Not only that it is very rare to find a Draconian Bloodline as they have the ability various types of Space Energies. However, Red King was even rarer as he had the control over, not only the space energy but also over most rare abilities among it, Dark Power and Void Power, simultaneously.”

“Space Energy is simply the power that helps in running and bounding the whole Universe together. It is the energy that makes the flow of time possible. There are many names applied by different species in the whole universe. Some call it Life Force or Life Energy, Vitality, Qi (Khi) and some call it Aura, Brio, Animus, Zest, Spark, Psyche, Pneuma and so on. It varies according to where you are in this vast Omniverse but they all refer to one same thing Space Energy. It isn’t rare to find someone who can use space energy. They can use it to modify their bodies by making it several times stronger, change the constitution of their body just like the Valkyries with wings, some use it to control the elementals like earth and fire, some use it to boost other people’s regenerative ability, making any type of fatal wound disappear in matters of second and much more.

There are many superior bloodlines in the universe, who can freely use all of the above abilities but for an ordinary species it will be harder to even grasp and comprehend, even few percent of that energy. However, Even if Draconian Bloodline was rare, The fact that The Red King was able to use Dark Power and Void Power made him even more rarer but also with that he was a target of jealously, envy, hatred and enmity from many people in the universe. Nobody has ever seen the full power of these ability but It seems If one can fully comprehend the knowledge without getting their brain fried from the devastating amount of knowledge poured from it, They will be able to manipulate space with their thoughts only. Like, the Dark Power will give you Omnikinesis ability which can manipulate the everything that existed in the universe and Void Power gave you the power to directly manipulate the space itself and even tap into flow of time too. Many people died even before fully understanding these powers but It seems Red King was able to use some of it.”

That’s a lot of information. So, The Red King is a big mystery waiting to be unsolved. He had the power to control all the existence and time itself which makes him more or less invincible, then why would he disappear out of nowhere and why would he protect a small planet like earth? It seems I have to find him to get some answers. Still the power of space and time is very tempting. I wonder if I can use it.

“Mei, How can someone use those two Powers?”

“I would have suggested master to not even think about those powers but I’m sorry to disappoint you but you need to have superior bloodline to use that as they are ‘mostly’ hereditary.”

Oh! Mostly, is it? So, it isn’t completely hereditary and can be obtained through some other methods too. Is it her method of trying to comfort me? Well, whatever. We still have a lot of information to compute so, let’s move on.

“And, What about those other two families?”

“Oh Yes. It isn’t very hard to find out what the Chloros family or their Head wants. They want to have the power of Red King and are constantly experimenting on it. The head of the Chloros family, Seth Chloros, The Grey king himself is quite mysterious, however, the deeds performed by the family are not. They are also receiving large amount of funds and ‘materials’ from an unknown source.”

“And, What exactly are this Materials?”

“Everything that you need while performing an experiment.”

“Is that so.”

I understood perfectly. So, an unknown source is not only providing these Chloros shits funds but also subjects for the experiment. I can also bet they are behind the war too. So, Who have the power to back a powerful family, in and itself, with even more? Maybe, A third Degree Space Civilization. But why would they even bother with such things? If there are more powerful family than The Red King and The Valkyries, they might as well be a third degree, so, who must it be?

It is so frustrating when you don’t have enough information to understand something . I can ask Mei to just hack into their system but I’m not in a perfect condition.

But if the Red King himself has disappeared what are they hoping by going on a war against The Valkyries and destroying them. Is there anything The Valkyries have that those unknown source are afraid of ? or Is it some personal grudge?

Wait, The thing that Valkyries have after the Red King disappeared.

So that’s it, huh!

If I had gathered much more information before hand I wouldn’t have to go through all this unnecessary theories. Their targets were very explanatory in and itself, and I can’t believe it took so much time for me to find that out.

Mei was looking at me for explanation.

“It seems master figured something out.”

“Yes more or less. But before that tell me about the Valkyries.”

“There isn’t much information on them. Even if they have it is mostly outdated. The only thing that is known is, They always stick together in a single fleet. There aren’t many males in the fleet. The head of that family at the time of disappearance was Diana Rei Valkyrie, also known as The Valkyrie Queen. She was the most powerful Valkyrie among them. She commanded thirteen other Valkyries who are known as Fleet Commanders. But In terms of power She was fifth in the whole fleet as The Red King was first, followed by the two other Draconians. However, the data on the fourth is missing. Nevertheless that’s their Power distribution among the whole fleet. But now there isn’t much data on them as they rarely show themselves. They rarely go to their Home Planet, Asgaror, also known as Valhalla due to its majestic size and unparallel strength. The Ruler of this planet is unknown. But it seems the Valkyrie Queen has a bad relation with their home planet but nonetheless they only return thereto restock their supplies. Other than that they stick with the Red Castle that is drifting in the space. The two Draconians, too, rarely come out of the Red Castle. Ah…. ”

“It seems you figured it out as well.”

“Yes, Master. Thanks to you.”

“Is there any things else that is worth mentioning?”

After that I discussed a few more details with Mei. But they weren’t exactly helpful. They were mostly about the experiments conducted by the Chloros family, constitution of fleets and other small details. Like that more than four hours had passed.

“Now the question is, How do we get to The Valkyries without getting blasted into smithereens?”

“Yes, that is a good question, Master.”

“We will try our luck and force our way through but There isn’t much I can help them with though even if we managed to get to their Fleet.”

“Master, What are you Planning to do?”

“I’m not sure but if my guess is correct than the opponents for Valkyries aren’t just three millions. Now that they have a chance to wipe out the forces of Red King, many will naturally join in the fun. It’s more of a bullying them at first and after their forces are weaken massacring them at once. Even if were able to convince them to retreat by making them swallow their pride, they wouldn’t because they will protect Red Castle. It would be easy if we can just leave it but they won’t do that and the most obvious problem, It can’t be operated by anyone else but The Red King”

“Master. I might not be able to fully control that ship but at my full power and with a little bit of time I might be able to send it to a specific location like Asgaror where no one would dare to enter because even with the combined power of all the royal families they won’t be able to defeat the forces of Asgaror.”

That is true. If someone enters and starts a war there, they would be completely wiped out by Asgaror but as they don’t meddle in the affairs of outer world, nobody dares to offend them either. Even with thrice the size of Jupiter, They are very peaceful and Majestic but If anyone offends they will be the incarnation of demons, full of bloodlust, earning the name, Valhalla. Mei's suggestion was Practicable. She speak again.

“And with the Red Castle in safe distance, The Valkyries might retreat but… Why do you want to protect The Valkyries?”

I knew she was going to ask something like that. But I myself don’t have a proper answer for it.

“Mei, Do you know a wounded tiger is much more dangerous than an normal tiger? ”

“So?”

Mei’s straight answer made my lips curl upwards. I continue,

“Right now they only know that the area that they protected was infiltrated by Chloros family but they don’t know that the family they sent to defeat them was not only defeated but was wiped out. They also don’t know that the planet, that their King left them to protect, Earth has been destroyed too. Even after all that they are still waging war on them. Tell me something how would they feel when they find this all out after they retreat with our help? ”

“They will be enraged. After all that has happened and even without knowing that they will be retreating. And when they find this they will be completely filled with anger, madness, shame and desire for revenge.”

“Exactly. Even if I don’t defeat the Chloros family myself, as long as The Valkyries live, They will do it for me.”

“That is quite…. Smart. But what about the Unknown source?”

“To be honest I don’t care about them at all but if they are behind Chloros family I will make sure to leave them a nice present.”

While thinking about that I smile which wasn’t filled with any joy, anger or revenge. It was a robotic smile that said ‘you will soon get what you deserve’.

“Now then. We are nearly there. Time to get this show on the Road, Shall we?”

“As you Wish, My master.”

Then, My escape plan finally begins…
