《The Rise Of The Death God》Halfway point

"So Sashimi, wanna join me?" Chibi asked. Currently, Chibi had little power alone and had to get the alternative and just as an effective resource: Manpower.
"Uhhhhh… Sure, why not? I don’t have anyone at home, and I don't think I’d be able to survive this apocalypse by myself anyway,” he answered. He felt moved that Chibi asked him to join, as well as proud.
Chibi was happy with the response. "Hehehe... I believe we’ll have a lot of fun in the future, Sashimi.”
They went around hunting a few more groups of goblins that had appeared in the area until the sun started to set.
"Ok Chibi but why, do we need to go somewhere else?"
"Let's go back to my base first, Sashimi. I'll tell you later" Chibi said. His muscles began to become sore once more, and he didn’t want to push himself too hard.
"Alright, bud." Sashimi said, exhaustedly.
The way to Chibi's house was deserted by both humans and monsters. It wasn’t strange considering most had fled the area or had been killed already by the duo.
If anyone saw them right now, they would be scared. Sashimi barely had any of the goblin blood on him as he was only at a distance. Chibi, on the other hand, was covered in goblin blood head to toe.
Quickly going to Chibi's house, they stuffed as many important things as they could in their backpacks.
After resting for some time, they returned to the streets.
"Ok Sashimi, let's go to your home and get some other things from there."
"Alright, let’s go."
Sashimi led the way to his home while asking Chibi for the hundredth time again.
"So why do we need to switch bases, Chibi?"
"Ok, so we need a base that is outside of town because we need to eliminate all chances of external forces affecting us like the government bombing the town, or a sudden horde of monsters spawning.”

"Ahh alright, but do you even know where we can find such a base because I certainly don't know any locations with those requirements, Chibi."
"I have a place in mind, so let's just go to your house and get there tomorrow morning"
"Alright, good idea. I’m already feeling sleepy."
After arriving at Sashimi's house, they washed up. Chibi felt the blessing of taking a shower all over again. It was a miracle the water system still functioned without management. Sashimi and Chibi proceeded to go to sleep after washing up. Chibi took the couch because the house didn’t belong to him, and they both had a good night's sleep.
After a good night's sleep, Chibi woke up to the smell of food. He groggily rubbed his eyes and looked towards the kitchen to see Sashimi making some soup.
"Ah, you woke up, Chibi? Good, wash up, and come back here. The food is almost ready."
"Alright, I’ll be back in 5 minutes.”
After quickly washing up and snapping out of his drowsy self, he walked back to the kitchen and sat down at the table that was already prepared.
"It's only some canned soup, but it should fill us up so that we can go find that new base," Sashimi said while smiling goofily.
Sashimi proceeded to grab the tv controller and turned towards the tv. He continuously pressed the power on button, but the tv only showed a static screen. Sashimi started to mash the power-on button and kept trying to change the batteries of the controller.
“Damn. This thing isn’t working…” He muttered.
"Well, let's just go after we eat," Chibi said after having enough of Sashimi’s shenanigans.
"Alright”
Quickly finishing their soup, they checked their backpacks one last time, took one long last look at Sashimi’s house and walked outside.

"Just follow me, chap. I know a location where we could establish a new base"
"Just lead the way bud."
Walking for almost two hours while taking some breaks in between and occasionally fighting a group of goblins or hobgoblins, they finally managed to reach the halfway point.
A run down farm that was ravaged from the looks of it. There was a horse stable near the barn and the place stinked of animal feces..
"Some goblins probably destroyed this farm, let's just hope that we can find some horses and food," Chibi said.
"Chibi why do we need horses? Wouldn't a car be faster?" Sashimi asked.
“Even though a car is faster, it doesn't have the same flexibility as a horse. I mean you can't expect us to go through a forest with a car, do you? And if we’re really desperate, then the horses can be… emergency rations to put it nicely”
“Chibi, that's really disgusting, but I can see your point with the forest. Let’s just hope that we’ll never have to eat them.”
“It’s not hope, it’s called preparing for the worst which is something you’ll have to adapt to. Anyways, we need to find some horses so that we could outrun these damn monsters. By the way, do you know how to ride a horse?”
“Of course I know how to ride a horse. My father taught me,” Sashimi stated, looking really smug about that fact.
“Yeah yeah, your daddy teaches you everything right? Daddy this, daddy that. Let’s just go search for these horses.”
Looking through the farm, they eventually found the horses in the stable. The horses looked starved and some were already dead. Only 5 Horses were still remaining. Also, one horse was missing.
“Quick, let’s give them some food and water Chibi.”
“I guess we could spare them some of our rations. After all, the dead horses could be used as food for us. Wait a second, don’t horses eat grass, Sashimi? Plus, I am sure there’s water from the morning dew they can drink. Are you thinking properly?!”
“Oh. I forgot about that. Let’s just put them outside. They’ll have all the grass in the world.”
“Let's search for a well or something. The dew won't be enough for the horses. Also, let’s ask the owner if we can stay.” Sashimi said.
“What do you mean to ask? Dude, have you not learned anything? The world’s been thrown into madness. Asking is for losers, scavenging is for survivors. Plus, I’m sure he’s dead anyways,” Chibi berated.
Geez. This guy’s too naive for his own good. Fuck, I might even have eat him if it comes down to it. At least, he can be somewhat useful to me then.
“Alright. Chibi, let’s just go search for a well or something. Maybe the owner has some food in his house?”
“Dude, he is the food.”
“Chibi”
“Yeah”
“You won’t eat me, will you?” Sashimi looked really pathetic as he asked that question.
“If you're not helpful, then I’ll do whatever I want.” Chibi retorted without so much as a hint of hesitation. Chibi walked off as Sashimi felt a shiver run through his body.
“I really shouldn't piss Chibi off, or else I’ll become the food,” Sashimi thought as he hurriedly rushed to catch up with Chibi.

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.

Skinwalker / War Chief
A System Apocalypse Fan Fiction I started reading Litrpg about two years ago. I fell in love with Tao Wong's System Apocalypse series. He is an excellent writer and I loved his world building, but when the second series arc went elsewhere It kind of lost me a little. I wanted to create a little parallel world that was very familiar to his fans but skewed off in a different, darker direction. If you haven't read Tao's work, you're missing out! Look him up on Amazon and read The System Apocalypse. One of the best in the genre.

Extant Expanse
The answer to an overpopulated, unemployed, robot replaced, under-resourced, power crisis, climate crisis, a poverty-stricken world, where the few have and most have not? It took a few decades of technology development, a few genius minds, and a few corporate takeovers, and a planet in crisis. Yet that answer should be obvious. * * * This is a first time writing attempt. I have no idea what's going to happen or where this story is headed. I simply had an idea for a story I wanted to explore. Fanfiction elements. I hope to release monthly, no guarantees though. * * * Unknown Cover Art
