《The Rise Of The Death God》Journey to the new Base

After letting the starving horses out, they searched for a well or an alternative source of water to give to the horses.
Instead of finding a well or container, they found a little lake with a house on the edge of it. Going near the house, it was silent that a pin dropping could cause a loud boom, so they promptly kicked down the door.
After entering the house, they found it to be ravaged with some old blood stains painting the floors crimson. Quickly searching the house, they found only some water bottles and a chocolate bar.
“Well, the owner’s already gone. We could spend a night here and continue on tomorrow, I guess,” Chibi said.
“Sure Chibi, but let’s return to the horses first. They’re probably dying of thirst right now.”
Returning to the horses, they led them to the lake to drink some water. While the horses drank and ate, they chose their respective steed for the upcoming trip.
“So Chibi, I’ll let you choose first because you led us here.” Sashimi cheerfully stated as he proceeded to sit down in a dry area next to Chibi.
“Alright, I’ll choose… that one!”
It was a Black Stallion standing proudly over the herd of horses. It’s muscles were bursting from within its smooth coat as his mane was long and luscious. It also seemed to be the fastest of the bunch.
“Alright Chibi, I’ll take that one!”
It was a Brown Mare that would oftenly follow the Black Stallion. It packed quite a bit of muscles and seemed to have a lot of stamina. It’s mane wasn’t as luscious, but it still was the 2nd best of the bunch.
“Alright, what’ll we do with the rest of the horses, Chibi?” Sashimi asked, watching the Black Stallion and Brown Mare take long gulps from the lake.

“I guess we’ll release them from this ravaged farm. I'm sure they can look after themselves… I hope.”
“Ok then, we’ll let them drink some more before separating the Black Stallion and Brown Mare from the herd.” Sashimi said, starting to stand back up and patting himself down.
After the horses had their fill and fell asleep at night, they woke up the horses that they chose and brought them to the stable to rest there.
After that, they woke up the other horses and let them go free. They ate some fresh fruits and went to sleep.
The next morning, they went to the stable and butchered one of the dead horses and stored its flesh to eat or dry later. They didn’t butcher more because they could not carry more than a singular horse worth of meat because it would be too heavy.
After that they searched for saddles and all the utensils to take care of their Horses and also some horseshoes. Chibi also found a brown cowboy hat that he decided to wear.
“Cool hat, Chibi.”
“Thanks, I guess it really is cool”
After marvelling at the impressiveness of the hat, they walked their horses out of the stable and put their saddles and backpacks on them.
Currently they could not ride the horses as they are still very weak from not eating or drinking anything for multiple days. Walking alongside their horses, they played some games to keep themselves entertained. They threw a stone and caught between themselves just to relieve themselves of their boredom.
Occasionally they encountered goblins and hobgoblins, but they weren't even a problem for the two anymore. A few shots from their guns and the monsters would be dead.
On their trip, they even found a new monster species. It had large wings and looked like a tiger. It flew in the air and when they shot at its wings, it crashed to the ground and was crippled. Walking towards it, Chibi shot its head full of bullets and put his gunchucks away.

Chibi harvested the blood and wings of the strange creature himself and proceeded to carry it as the blood and wings weren't too heavy. Plus, he didn’t want to strain the horses anymore than they already were.
As night started to settle, they set up camp; a simple sleeping bag and a campfire. While they roasted the horse meat that they had butchered from the day before and cut some fresh fruits as a side/dessert, they talked about the monster that they saw earlier.
“So Chibi, do you have a name for that flying tiger? I mean we can't call it a flying tiger forever, can we?”
“Lets keep it simple and name it the Winged Tiger, no need to make some complicated words in this apocalyptic world.”
“Alright, but wasn't it too weak? I mean no offense but even the goblins could put up a better fight than that Winged tiger.”
“It's probably because it was alone, haven't you realized it yet? We never meet a single goblin; they are always at least 2 Goblins. In this new world you can't survive alone even the monsters understand that.
“Yeah, but then why was it alone?”
“Maybe it was kicked out from its group or it simply got lost. I guess we will never know. It’s not like it concerns either of us too”
“Alright Chibi...oh look the meat is roasted, let's eat. Here's your fruit bowl.” Sashimi said while handing Chibi some meat and a bowl of fresh fruits.
It was a peaceful night under the starry, dark sky as the campfire crackled in the background. After they ate and put away their bowls, they got into their respective sleeping bags to take a light nap.

Charlotte Powers: Diary of a Would-Be Superhero
The journal of a girl who thinks she knows. (Spoiler: She does not know.) "...an odd combination of stream-of-conscious anxieties and high-flying save-the-world goals written by an overzealous, naïve teenaged girl in her wristwatch computer diary."-readers are better at describing stories than the writers who wrote them "When it's over you look up: the world looks the same, but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days."-bit OTT but I'll take it "...everything cannot just be good and then be even more good, in this story, right?"-100% accurate assessment "...the plot was bland and the character uninteresting. It was just a very dull read. I cannot recommend this book to anyone."-oh well can't win them all Discord for discussion. Complain about Charlotte's nonsense! Ship the characters! Do a thing! Now entering the second arc, Power Play. Things are getting serious. We're heading towards something important. Charlotte is still largely clueless. But she is trying so hard.
