《My love story is not supposed to happen like this》Prologue

Do you think the world is both too beautiful and too harsh at the same time? The most lovely things happen all the time, and the worst things also.
There will always be a love and a hate for the world in everyone's life. Those who are successful enjoy the way the world works, whereas those who are unsuccessful are enraged by it and consider suicide as a result.
However, for the time being, I believe the world is a fantastic and beautiful place to visit. I want nothing would change. And the ignitor of this feeling was none other than my childhood best buddy Yui Kurayaki. In her presence, I feel like the happiest man alive, and it breaks my heart that I can't tell her how much I adore her.
I was worried that we wouldn't get along. That's not what I'm looking for. Being completely aware of the consequences of saying or doing anything stupid like confessing to her felt dangerous
Eh?
We finally got to the candy store ahead of us thanks to her meticulous walking ahead of me and acquiring a delectable lollipop for both of us.
During our conversation, time dragged on mercilessly for me. She had a way of making my heart race every time she smiled at me.
My attention was drawn to the path ahead of us before we even reached it.
"I'll see you tomorrow, so please take good care of your hair." Yui gave a kind wave as she grinned and waved back.
It's nothing to be concerned about; I've got this.
Though my childhood home was on a separate block from Yui's, her family had lived in the area until after we graduated from high school before moving away for personal reasons.
The days when Yui was still living in the house next door to mine were the best since we could do whatever we wanted. Whenever she was free, she'd come over to my house to play games with me and we'd talk about everything. In the past, she has aided me countless times, including when I needed help fixing the ship. In the end, it wasn't her fault at all, but she was still willing to help me.

To be honest, we used to spend a lot of time together when we were younger, including sleeping and bathing together. Our parents got along with each other just as well as we did, and we enjoyed getting together for special occasions as a family.
Due to the fact that Yui has been given a new address. The only person in the room with me was myself. Even though I was worried about where she would attend high school, it turned out that fate had paired us up after all! We ended up enrolling in the same high school, but in a different grade level.
A few minutes later, my car pulled up next to the house next door and all sorts of commotion started coming from there. Is someone going to be moving in soon? It appeared that the house had been empty for at least three years.
Is it OK for me to say hello to them? Is there an alternative? Or should I just ignore it? To my amazement, when I went to look around the house, someone was moving in.
Eventually, I get around to knocking on their door. I didn't even bother getting dressed since I was too lazy. I was so nervous that I now regret having come. The door was opened, and I saw something stunning that I hadn't anticipated. I looked up to see a woman standing in my way. When I first saw her, she had long, blue-sky-colored hair in a ponytail, and her stunning blue eyes immediately drew my attention. She was a few inches shorter than I was, and she kept a poker look the entire time.
For a brief period of time, we remained standing as...
"Would you like my assistance?"
Her tone sent a shiver down my spine that I'd never experienced before.

“Ah. Sorry for showing up so unexpectedly; I simply wanted to see who was moving in."
She gave me a thorough examination before starting to speak.
" So, you're the next-door neighbor? Mr.-”
"I'm Hiroshi Tohmaru," you reply. That's right, I'm right there.
"Hiromi Miyazaki. That's me. You have a new neighbor now."
"The pleasure of meeting you, Miyazaki san, is mine. I sincerely hope that we will get along. Then I'll be on my way."
As soon as things started getting awkward between us, I made my way out of the building. My body ached from a long day at school, so I drank some water and quickly whipped up some ramen.
When I couldn't sleep that night, I realized Hiromi's beauty had become ingrained in my mind like a bad smell.

Braindead - A Zombie LitRPG
In a world where zombies are trash mobs that children kill for easy exp, what hope does one little zed have? Zed was minding his own business when his master's domain was invaded by a plucky young heroine looking to make a name for herself. An unlikely turn of events allowed Zed to come out on top, and gave him enough experience to rise above the life of a mindless minion. Unfortunately, it also left him with no body to share it with... literally, not figuratively! This story contains: Some 'jokes' containing questionable humour. An inhuman MC who has no interest in pesky things like romance or growing a conscience. Blue boxes, and a DnD style system messily mashed together with several other systems. Gore, but nothing too gratuitous. The main character is a severed head so what do you expect? Kingdom/base building, because what good is a zombie without a good horde behind them. Releases planned for each Sunday until I build up a decent backlog.

The cultivation (and alchemical) tiers are not at all necessary to understand the book, but exist because in the context of the book it would be important. Duality
“Listen closely for this is our oldest tale… In the beginning there was peace and knowledge throughout our land… The creatures of old roamed these lands… Evil had yet to spread through our land… A rift in the very fabric of reality formed… The land burned and melted as the creatures stepped through… As the most advanced civilization… We took the mantle to combat… By the time we were able to gather half the world had already been lain bare… The war covered the once peaceful land in death and destruction… During this time humanity's greatest light arose…” Monologued the old man, red in the face from passionately spewing his praises of a past he had no part of. Written by two authors, this novel covers the tale of a pair of protagonists in a wuxia world. Oh, and maybe an isekai or two. Our goal with this project is to make an engaging and entertaining story, while making a good attempt at a somewhat realistic wuxia setting. We’re aware of the oxymoron…
