《My love story is not supposed to happen like this》Chapter 1

The pleasant days of warm weather were drawing to a close. The soggy month drew nearer and nearer. With each passing day, the brown grass became green and healthy. Within a month of the first half's end, trees began to bear fruit and turn from brown to green. The bus stop was deserted, the train had already left, and all I could see before me was the backs of my hands flashing in front of my eyes. My path was blocked by a single oncoming car when the traffic signals changed to red.
"What an idiot you are!! Stop crossing the road if the light is red. I f you're killed instantly by a car, I won't hesitate to dance at your grave."
The cop yelled at me for breaking the law. The policeman was the same one I see every time I go to school.
"If I get the chance to kiss a vehicle, I'll send you a present from heaven." I smiled wickedly.
"You will perish if you say those words, brats. You'll worry your relatives and your parents, just think about it."
Many people may perceive him as a defender, but he appears to be the anti-hero to me.
"Mr. Police, I'll see you later."
After I delivered those words, I was unable to hear anything further he had to say.
After a grueling sprint, I made it into my school. The stairwell was quiet and empty; all of the students had entered the classroom at this point.
When I was ready to open the door to my class, I heard the voice of a girl with whom I was familiar. When I opened the door of my classroom, I noticed a new transfer student making an introduction. It occurred to me that I was exhaling heavily and that my entire body was radiating heat at a lava temperature.
I was drenched in perspiration and unsure whether to be embarrassed or surprised to arrive at school early for the first session.
"You're running a few minutes behind schedule. How many times do you think I should scold you? When do you think you'll be able to do better?"

My homeroom teacher who look like she is in 30s yelled at me. When I looked at her, I noticed a textbook in one hand and a chalk in the other. She was on the verge of beginning her class when the new girl showed up.
"Again, my apologies to Teacher. Even though I have a hard time waking up in the mornings, I was a few minutes early today."
Last night, I couldn't sleep due of the nagging image of the cute neighbor girl in my mind.
"five minutes ago the school bell rang, so it's not early. After all, you train early in the morning, so you should pitch in the running competition."
"Yes, please." I hesitantly chuckled and said. "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha madam," Given the fact that I can a little bit early, can I come in?"
My voice was getting less and smaller with each word I said.
"What are your thoughts on this, by the way? No, of course not.. Spend some time outside, just standing there."
My apologies for being so dim. It's a given that I'll be punished. I closed the door behind me and stood by the doorway.
During the newcomer's presentation to the class, I overheard several of my classmates complementing her.
"She's quite alluring; I should certainly get her phone number."
"Damn you bro, I think I've found the one for the rest of my life."
"Isn't she stunning?" he exclaimed.
"I'm going to presume she's pretty." My homeroom teacher Th had earlier hidden her face from my view, and because I couldn't enter the class for an hour, I was filled with wonder and fantasy.
At Kiseki High School, where I currently study, students are encouraged to participate in athletics, activities, and academics. There are many well-educated students at this school, and several of them attended university just last year. The school is divided into three years, as is customary in Japan. I got to study in here because of my sister's connections with the instructors, and I was able to afford a seat because of that.

Because I ran so rapidly, my leg was barely able to keep up, and on top of that, I have to stand for the next hour. The first bell rung just as I was about to give up. The bell's ringing brought me some much-needed relief. The door was slipping open, and my homeroom teacher was staring at me with a puff on her sleeve. Were her words a sign of regret on her part for me?
"It's pointless to tell you to arrive early the next time. However, if you fail to show there on time, I will be forced to go to prison for the death of a fellow student." She let out a sigh.
She really had murder on her mind for the sole reason that I was running late, and she was right about that; I'm always running late, so it must be frustrating for her.
"I'll attempt to arrive early so you won't be planning on killing me anymore?" I fake-chuckled.
"If you don't keep up with me, I'll give it a shot. I'm curious how will it feel after killing someone."
"I will try my best to come early from tomorrow."
I got out of there before she tried her human-killing plan on me. After letting out a sigh, I made my way to my seat. A girl was there on my seat, Her attractiveness has made it impossible for me to keep my gaze away from her. After a few moments of standing there, I realized I was staring at her like a complete moron. My intuition had been correct; I'd heard an ice tone someplace.
"Miyazaki san"
From the window, she looked at me with her eyes.
"The next-door neighbor, eh?"
Wait. So Hiromi is a second-year student?
Don't tell me my teacher donated my seat to Hiromi. Am I a non-entity to her?
I drew a deep breath, but even in this state of embrace and perplexity, I was able to express myself verbally.
"T-This is where I'm sitting. Could you move to another seat ?"
"I was the first to get it."
The second term began and I've had this seat since then. She's stomped all over me like it's nothing. My fantasy of her being cute and kind was all doomed.
"This is where I sit."
"This seat has been given to me by the teacher, therefore I'm taking it."
Her antics are starting to grate on my nerves.
"It's really unfair."
What was the teacher thinking? To begin with, she turned me into a corpse and now she's giving my seat to this obnoxious brat.
I sat in the lonesome chair on the left side of the table. I didn't want any chaos I
"Good boy."
Things froze up between us throughout the interim period. She remained motionless for the duration of the encounter. I was still trying to figure out a way to reclaim my seat.
"Miyazaki san" Before she could do anything, a swarm of females appeared, halting me dead in my tracks.
"Which middle school did you attend before coming to this place? What kind of work do you and your family do to make a living?"
"Do you enjoy performing in front of a crowd? What about making a meal? Or perhaps with a companion by your side?"
"Do you happen to know anyone from our school? Do you have a man in your life?"
After I've lay my head on the table and I turn into my anti-social mode.
"What, no boyfriend?" Despite the fact that you are so stunning."
“Nope.”
That exchange was overheard by the boys, including me. I could tell that most of the boys were relieved at that moment. Boys' approach vibes were in the air, and I could feel them.

ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR is a short novel of magical-realist fiction, a stand-alone book in the Shantytown Cycle. Written for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I will be posting revisions as I complete them and should be done by early 2022, though I am making major changes so the timing may be longer. This book is cross-posted on two websites: Wattpad and Royal Road. Both are reputable, high-quality sites. Do not trust this book on other websites. They "scrape" material from reputable sites, posting the stolen material as an original to lure users in, but contain links that include malicious code.

Teddy Bear
As it would stand, the truth of the matter was that aliens had visited Earth before. Roswell was neither a hoax nor unique. It was simply a consequence of a world growing smaller as communication systems became more and more advanced, partly a result of said visitations. For the most part, past interactions between one of the planet Earth's more intelligent species of lifeform and the alien visitors were along the lines of obscure scientific surveys and tests disturbingly similar to attempts by some human scientists to estimate the intelligence of simians. For any species capable of travelling the stars. Visiting planet Earth made about as much sense as backpacking through the Ural Mountains of Siberia with nothing but a flint and a compass. That is to say, most people would prefer to stay close to someplace within walking distance of a mall or a population density slightly higher than four sapient beings per parsec. Still, statistically speaking, there are bound to be some weirdos who find joy rides though a nowhere solar system fun. Just buzzing a frantic farmer or two and playing chicken with an F-16 for the heck of it. Maybe even bring home a bovine to show off to the guys at the office.
