Rei Young was already late for her first day at work, and she was still in the shower. She placed both her hands on the white shower wall as the water sprinkled through her short orange hair.

The hot water ran down her neck, between her breasts, and down across her stomach toward her feet. Even her bushy dark orange striped tail soaked behind her legs.

She squeezed a bottle of shampoo into her hair and scrubbed it quickly. It has oatmeal, but with strawberry flavor.

Since she arrived in Moreau City, Rei spent all night unpacking her belongings and purchasing food. Not to mention she played karaoke on her entertainment set until she fell asleep. Pretty much it was her own welcoming party without her friends and family. Hopefully, she will make new friends in the city.

After she rinsed off, Rei stepped out in the streaming fog and dried herself off with a towel. Next, she dashed into her bedroom naked and checked her closet. Too bad she didn't have time to go shopping at the mall. Most of her clothes were from her old city in South Korea. But all of her outfits were totally fabulous. Glitter shirts, short jeans, sexy heel shoes, anything a fashion freak girl would enjoy. And the best thing is, Rei could wear whatever she wanted at the MCPD. Only regular police officers were required to wear standard uniforms, which has no creative fashion designs. Bounty hunters wore civilian dresses to blend in with the crowd to catch their prey easily. To identify themselves, they needed badges from the department so they could begin their jobs legally. Rei hoped her first badge will be pretty to match her dress up.

In her closet, she grabbed a pink skinny tank top with black spandex shorts, made to give her long legs freedom. Next she took a black leather jacket with glowing blue sidelines, heeled boots, and gauntlets covered with spikes. For an accessory, she placed a spiked kitty collar around her neck, which has a bell on it. Cuteness can give a girl access to any place.

She got dressed and examined herself in the mirror. Her outfit gave her the giggles. "Naneun jeongmal meosjida!"

Rei's fashion taste was a mix of punk and pop with a techno style blend. Although she preferred a feminine look, having punk accessories showed she doesn't like to be treated as a damsel. Her old friends followed her trend too before she got transferred to Moreau City. Since she heard everyone in the city has techno punk lifestyles, she should fit in well.

The last thing she took was her pink kitty backpack with her personal equipment. Her smartphone, makeup kit, pepper spray, tazer, and cotton candy perfume.

After she placed her pack on, she stepped toward the window, viewing the vast cityscape. So many skyscrapers touching the bright sunny sky, and hover cars jetting all over the place, making it sound almost impossible to sleep outside. Non-stop holographic ads still drifted around the buildings without disturbing the air traffic.

Rei took a deep breath and released it. "Moreau City, here I come!"
