Chapter 6-New Light

In the next morning, before I wake up, I dreamed or rather nightmare about the airplane that was crashed. '..Now that I think about it. There are so many passengers on that airplane. Am I really the one soul or consciousness that get here in this world?..' My whole body is still sweating as I get up, there are many questions in my mind right now but I don`t have any answer for them. After a quick shower, I walk into the dining room to eat breakfast.

After a few minutes, Inside the dining room, while sitting, I see the two maids and Ms. Dana Evergreen, I asked them to join but they always refused. ‘..Sigh.. I feel really uncomfortable when I'm eating and they are standing nearby..' A few hours later, I started to jog around the Royal Castle and doing a short sprint. There is a tree trunk nearby that is perfect for developing my back muscles. My hand hold the trunk and lifting myself up in different pacing. While doing my training, I notice the head of the Royal Maid Ms. Dana Evergreen looking at me in her usual self. When she notice that I will approach her, she immediately turns her back and leaving fast.

"Ms. Dana!" I shouted and she stopped.

After I got near her, "My King. Do you need anything?" She asked like her usual self and slightly bowed.

"Are you watching me? You're tailing me since I ate my breakfast." I asked her coldly.

"My King. I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. Your behavior is quite odd these last few days and now you are even doing some strange training things." She explained in her usual cold self.

"So, You're curious why I`m doing some training?" I asked her again and she nodded.

"After a year or two, we will be attacked by other neighbor kingdoms. You should know this right? I'm planning to reach A-rank before the war happens and win the war. Is my answer satisfied your curiosity? Ms. Dana." I explained and asked her while my body is full of sweat.

"My King. You forgot that you don't have any element affinity. You are still E-rank but I'm happy to see that you want to change yourself and you care for the kingdom." She said and smiled.

In my robe pocket, I get the rank stone and pour my mana into it, I can now control my two elements. After a few seconds , the rank stone glows, the void element and letter C appears on it. Ms. Dana Evergreen see the rank stone with her teary eyes widen and look at me.

"This should satisfy your curiosity. Ms. Dana and this should be a secret between us. I trust you.." I said to her and throw a wink. She just nodded and I return to my training. A minute later, I don't see her tailing me again. ‘..From my other memories, If there`s a person here that I can trust most, It`s Ms. Dana Evergreen and my uncle..’

Do my training on my body every morning for 3 hours then eat and practice magic. Three hours for the void element exposure and two hours exposure to the lightning element. After I finish my training, I eat again. This is my schedule in these last 4 months, some maids are talking to me now in a different way but outside, the citizens of this kingdom is the same as before. They always run or hide as soon as they see me.

In these last four months, I didn`t go in the archery training field. My body needs to build up more strength and stamina to hit the target accurately. Yesterday, I reached B-rank and my rapid development of core is caused by the Royal Training Room. Some of the other skill in the Royal Library have a minimum requirement of at least B-rank user and I`m going to the Royal library to learn some skills.

A few moments later, inside of the Royal Library. I got the skills [Void Presence], [Void Prison], [Lightning Feet], [Electric Arrow] and [Quick Reflex] and already read all of them.

The [Void Presence] skill is the ability to hide your presence, only another void user can detect you.

The [Void Prison] skill is the ability to imprison your enemy, as long as they do not have any A-rank destruction skill that can use inside or outside the Void Prison will not break. The person inside will not regenerate their mana.

The [lightning feet] skill is the ability to accelerate the user foot movements.

The [Electric arrow] skill is the ability to create a lightning arrow that can give your enemy electric shock or paralyze them. The bigger the arrow, the bigger the area will be affected.

The [Quick Reflex] skill is the ability to react faster by using the lightning through your brain.

All of these skills are A-rank but the B-rank user can also use them while all the S-rank skill have the minimum requirement of at least A-rank user.

Learning the skills are not that hard as long as you know how it works. After 4 hours, I can now use all of them and understand the skills more.

For the [Void presence], I can hide my presence for a long time, Every 30 minutes it only consumes 1% of my mana. I should not touch any other living things or else the [Void presence] will deactivate the people can still see me but they will just can`t feel or detect me. The [Void Prison] spell consumed 60% of my mana. It`s just a prison but the person inside of it will not regenerate their mana. The [Lightning feet] consumed 2% of my mana every minute. The [ Electric Arrow ] can consume 1% to 99% of mana it depends on mana concentration on the arrow while the [Quick Reflex] consumed 1% of my mana every minute.

After I learned all the skills. I go to the Royal Library to return the books while walking I see Ms. Dana Evergreen approaches me.

"My King, Your Uncle will return tomorrow and said that he have some good news for you. " She said while smiling and waiting for my response.

From my other memories, the one that he called Uncle is not blood-related. He is the General of the Military here, this boy`s father and the General are what you called the best friend that will sacrifice their life to protect each other. After this boy`s father died, the General said that he need to do something and he is one of the reasons why this boy is a fool. He`s the one who teach this boy on how to fuck women.

"Alright, I`m gonna meet him tomorrow.." I said to her and she leaves immediately.

Royal City, The Great Bow Kingdom.

Inside the Royal Castle in a Maid Chancery. (P.O.V Dana Evergreen)

"Minister Ren, What is your opinion to the King? In this past 4 months, he only does run around the castle, lifting himself to the tree in odd ways and just going to the Royal Training room for 5 hours! He didn`t have any girls in his room." I said while sitting on the chair that has desk table in front.

"Yes,you`re right Madam Dana Evergreen. The King behavior is now different and looks like he is now a B-ranker and according to the reports the General has also made a breakthrough. In the past, I`m planning on how to secretly abandoned this kingdom but looks like.. Maybe we have a chance. I`m gonna gamble and help them as long as i can!" Old man Minister Ren said in an excited manner and looks determined.

"What? The General has also breakthrough?.. So, that`s the good news.. Can we really have a chance? There are 5 or 6 kingdoms that will wage war on us." I said in a worried voice.

"You`re quite underestimating the void user Ms. Dana Evergreen.. well you didn`t see The Great King Greg Ramsey on the battlefield. That`s why you`re quite worried.. You know your wrinkles might increase and the General may not notice your beauty again.. You should stop worrying.." He said in a serious tone and go quickly to the door.

"Damn.. you.. Old man!" I shouted to the closing door.
