Chapter 3-Outside of the Castle

"These are.. black barrier ..and some small sparks! My King!, Your elemental affinities have awoken." Said Minister Ren in an excited manner.

From this boy`s memories, the black barrier thing represents void and the sparks represent the lightning element. '..Woah!, I'm overpowered after all!, alright calm down. Breath in and out.' I thought to myself to relax. "Cough, Minister Ren I will appreciate if you keep it to yourself for now." I said to the minister in a serious tone and he nodded. Looks like he understands what's the meaning of my words and leave immediately. '..That old minister reminded me of the old man that adopted me, I have a quite good impression on him..'

'..This boy got his void element from his father.. The lightning element should come from his mother? His mother is quite a mysterious one..' I thought to myself while thinking this boy`s mysterious origin then step out on the door.

‘..Now that I think about it. This is my first time that I will be going out ..’ After I opened the door, I feel the strong gush of wind welcomes me. My eyes see a big garden on my left side and a fountain in the front of the Royal Castle that looks like the water coming out has come from the nature itself. There is a small road that surrounds the fountain while the field is full of grass. The grass that I seeing is different comparing to the earth, most of them are dark yellow around three-inch height while the Royal Castle is surrounded by thick stone walls around 15 ft. to 20 ft. height.

Using mana in my eyes, I see a big black wall that surrounds the Bow Kingdom and from my memories, the location of the Royal castle is on the top of a mountain. The big black walls that I seeing is not a pure black, there are some deep red color linings on it and the height of it is around 700-1,000 ft. ‘..These walls are quite huge.. And they look like built by some advanced technology.. I don`t think the people in the earth can create something like this.. To just surrounds a kingdom.. Did I underestimate the technology here?..’ While outside the black walls, all I see is a thick gray fog.

The houses and castles that I seeing have similarities from Europe Medieval and some are similar to the Ancient Chinese period. There are big luxurious houses and small castle that made of stones while the rest are made from sturdy gray wood.

From my memories, these walls exist even before the god's war happened. While strolling around, I arrived at the Castle front gate and the guards opening the gate slowly. My eyes see a small road outside of the Royal Castle and walk on the top of it. While walking, I noticed that there are some people that hiding and tailing me. ‘..I guess they are some sort of secret service to protect me..'

After an hour of walking, I arrived at the market district and notice that the smell here is not that nice, a bit of urine and some shit stinks. From my memories, Only the rich and royalties have their own bathroom while the sewer system is not yet existed, the people also need to travel to find some water springs or pay some water user.

'..Why not even one people greeted me? As long as they see me they run and hide their selves.. This is quite depressing.. Sigh.. I'm not gonna eat you people.. I just want to have a small chat..' Near the fruit stand, there is a small girl around 8 years old stumbled and her knees got small wounds. When she saw me approaching her, she started crying loudly.

"Beautiful lady, why are you crying?" I asked her, I know the reason why she is crying but my question refers to why she started crying that looks like her mother die as long as i got near her.

"Uwuh..My Mother said..sob..You are eating ..Old and young girls.. Please don`t eat me.." She said in her stuttering voice and tears coming out from her eyes.

'..Fuck! Looks like even the parent of these children using me to discipline or scare their child. My reputation here is worse than i expected..' I get the handkerchief in my robe pocket and tend her wounds then help her to get up.

"Don`t worry, I will not eat you. Here are some chocolates.." I said in a worried voice. '..Crap!, I forgot it`s different here. There are no chocolates here..' Back on the earth, whenever I see children crying, I always bribe them chocolates to stop. "Can you walk now?" I asked her and try to change the subject and she nodded immediately. "Be a good girl to your parents Okay?." I asked her before she leaves, she nodded again while smiling and left me.

'..Fuck! King! Your citizens don`t even want to see you...' I thought to myself after I saw the child reaction after he sees me. There are sugars, salts and basic condiments for cooking almost similar to earth but the chocolates and cakes here are not yet created.

While going back to the castle, I heard some people talking.Their accent is quite strange, it`s like in a serious tone and robotic style even the ministers back in the castle are similar to them. '..I think these is part of their culture and looks like I'm having a culture shock. I read some novels before, it looks like exciting when you transported to another world of magic but I think it`s more fun to read than doing the real thing.'

A few moments later, There are some women’s that looks like around the age of 40 to 50 and I think they`re what you called noble. The thing is, there are no underwears here. I think they`re just bondage their things even I don`t have a brief right now. I only have this long fabric on my crotch that keeps my thing. My plan is to go to the library to find out more about this void element. My families are void users all their studies and research are kept in the library or royal library to be exact.

My eyes see some maids and some girls that have a collar on their neck and according to this boy`s memories, slave system exists in this world. '..Poor girls.. They should be in a high school to learn some things and have fun. Don`t worry in the future I will abolish the slavery system here in the kingdom but not now, my information about this world is certainly lacking..'

After a few minutes, I arrived at the front door of the Royal Library and enter. It`s been awhile since I saw a library because of the internet back in the earth. The Royal Library here is certainly top notch. It`s quite big, it`s about the size of a half soccer field but I`m disappointed because the books here are few about 700-900 books.’..This place is too big for these books..’

Half of the books are all void related according to my memories and the others are basic control of other elements. In front of the bookshelf, I get the book that titled [Introduction to Void Element]. After reading it, It says all living things have their mana core except for plants and trees. The mana is just having the ability to transform into any element as long as the user has high affinity with it.

The Void Element is empty, After I turn the page these are the words that I see. I`m quite confused right now and turn the page again. The Void element is the power to make the certain areas empty, as long as it`s empty you have the ability to appear on it. I turn the page again and again until I finished reading the book.

To summarize things, it is said to the book that I can breathe in empty or void space because that is my element nothing. The void is the power of teleport and barrier. The larger, further the area and the longer it's used, the more mana will be consumed. If I don`t have any mana left in my mana core, I will be suffer in some kind of similar to a stroke.

To increase my mana core, I need to expose to my elements for a long time then it will increase my mana core naturally or find a beast core that similar to my elements and absorbed it. The mana core should be the same or higher than my rank, If I don`t have any element affinity and long exposed to mana, my mana core size will be limited, that`s the reason most of the mana users are just C and B rank.

'..Let`s try using this void element..' I raised my hand and try to imagine the void element after a few seconds, there is a small orb that appears on it. I throw the small orb to the nearby wall but it dissipates before it reaches the wall. ‘..I need to train in this magic thing first, It may really possible that I can go back to the earth in the future..’

After I exit to the Royal Library going to the Royal training room, I see again the naked girl in my bed that wearing now a white maid uniform. She notices me and immediately bows her head, I slowly approach her while she is blushing and looking at the ground.

"How are you?" I asked her and she looks confused.

"My King.. I`m fine." She said shyly and still bow her head.

"Raise your head, What is your name?" I asked her again politely while she still bowed her head and slowly lifting it up. This boy doesn`t have any memories of her aside from the thing that happened to them.

"My King, My name is Lyra." She said and looked confused.

“Alright Ms.Lyra, it`s good to see you. I will be going now." I said to her while smiling. She looks really confused and blushing but didn`t say anything.

After the short conversation with Lyra, I continue to go to my original destination the Royal Training Room.

Royal Castle, The Great Bow Kingdom

'..Why did the King ask my name? Am I his type? he didn`t satisfy with me last night? But I did my best.. No! That`s impossible he just loves to flirt all the girls but I felt he`s different than the other days. Is it because of the alcohol? I mean he`s walking and even his accent changed, it`s like he`s not from here. I even felt for a moment that he is a good caring man. Strange..' I thought while seeing the back of the king further and further away.
