《12 Hand Asura》High Pitched Cry

Zio continued dragging the fur he skinned from the white bear up the mountain path and doing so he left a trail of blood and ripped skin along the way but he was successful in getting rid of the sticky blood and flesh from the coat, it was still smelly but he could manage, he is still wearing a layer of his own cloth which will protect him from direct contact.
As Zio continues to move forward he realizes that it will take him days before he can even reach the clouds that are covering the peaks, he looked down the edge and see the massive forest below, he now things are so tiny that he cannot even see his own clan, what he can see though is the neighboring city, the capital of this kingdom.
He can see a massive city and right in the middle of this city is a massive palace, Zio cannot tell exactly what it looks like but its size gave him a rough image as to how it looks, he is shocked by the side of it."Do kings and queens live in such a massive palace, even my village clan is not as big as that palace"Zio though it was a waste of money and resource to build such a massive and grand palace, well it was just his own mindset, he doesn't really understand what the people outside his clan do and thinks, the thought of making such a massive palace was stupid to him, what he doesn't know it that appearance actually matters, the grander the palace the more reputation the royal family gets.
When it comes down to everything, humans have always been the ones who admire the appearance of a thing or other human rather than looking at what's inside but Zio who has an innocent heart really doesn't understand the reason behind it.

He thinks that the palace is impressive but he doesn't care about it, Zio turns his back against the city and continues his path, on his way he encountered more wild beast but these were not as dangerous as the white bear that Zio encountered before, one was a fox and other was a bird, both of them were shot down before they could even go against him.
Zio didn't care much about the fox but the bird was a good thing to just let it go so he took the bird with him as well, the sky then started to get dark and Zio decided to camp down, he lit up a fire using some dry wood and started to roast the bear's meat that he skinned early in the day, he looked down on the vast jungle and thought about his parents and how much worried they are right now.
But Zio wanted to do this, he wanted to climb up the mountain and retrieve the God Religan that is up there so his parents could be proud of him, he soon ate the roasted bear meat, as he chewed down his teeth got stuck in them, the bear meat was really hard, he realized that he over roasted the meat causing it to burn up.
Zio didn't do much cooking so he didn't know when to take out the meat but since he could do nothing he ate the meat anyway by nibbling through the edges. After he was done with the food he went to sleep under the thick bear coat, he praised himself for bringing it along with him.
The night got very cold, very fast, luckily Zio had the coat, he covered himself up with the dirty fur coat from head to toe, it was little uncomfortable but it was better than dying in the freezing cold, soon the tired Zio fell asleep without a care in the world.

It is morning and the dim light that escaped through the clouds woke up Zio, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around, he could see the burnt up wood next to him, he got out of the fur coat and looked around if anything happened around him, seeing no changes he sighed and lit up the fire again and this time he cooked the bird he killed yesterday.
He ripped its feather and cut its head off and tossed it to the side, after taking out the internal organs of the bird he roasted the bird.
The smell coming from the roasted bird was much better than the bear's meat, this time Zio didn't let it burn, he took out the meat sooner this time, as he took a bite he was relived, it was not the best meat he has ever had but it was ok, enough for him to be alive, he looked at his water pouch and noticed that he will soon run out of the water to drink and he needs to find a water source or turn the snow around him to water.
Putting the thought to the side Zio continued his journey up the mountain, half a day went by and Zio has still not reached his destination, he realized that he was even getting tired very fast, a little troubled while breathing as his body felt cold.
He realized that it was not a great idea to climb the mountain but the temptation was too much, he tightly wrapped the fur around his body and continued to move forward when he heard a very high pitch cry.
Zio panicked, he has never heard a sound like this before, he was certain that this was from a magical beast, his father once told him that the cry of a magical beast has a certain pressure that normal humans cannot withstand.
He looked around panicking, he let go of the fur around him and quickly got in position with his bow, he mounted an arrow on it, ready to shoot on sight.
