Remnant of the game still present inside them made him think about their future in this world. The game had 4 characteristics. Power, which was an indication of the strenght and vitality of the characters. Agility, for the speed, flexibility and dexterity. Mind, for the intelligence, wisdom and willpower. Charisma, for the charm and leadership. All of those grew with each levels of the skills related to them. There were no detailled numbers, but they were ranked from the lowest to the highest F, E, D, C, B, A, S and X.

B rank was the equivalent of a top class soldier, martial artist, trader or scientist in the real world. Top player would get S rank in their primary characteristics but no player reached X rank in any of their characteristics. Tony was level 178 when the game ended, but due to him grinding many skills, thus gaining more points than others for the differents characteristics, he reached A rank in power and S rank in agility and mind. Even though he played a lot solo, he still managed to get B rank in charisma.

Nobody reached S rank in anything before reaching level 185, and not many got 2 characteristics at rank S at the end of the game. At level 178, Tony could hope to get X rank in either agility or mind., and maybe even power. He could become really strong and smart. If they did find intelligent races, he would be able to learn their language and other things really fast. If the intelligent races from this world were similar to humans in strenght and intelligence, he would be at the top of them. Along with Robynn and Proteo.

'Well, all of this is just theory anyway, only time will tell if I was right or wrong. I'd better get ready for the night'

In the game, there were several stats. Life, for the life force of the character, when it reached 0 the character would die. Stamina, the amount of physical energy, when it reached 0 the character would faint. Psion, the amount of psychic energy necessary for mutants to use esp. Energy, the amount of energy necessary for cyborgs to use some of their cybernetics abilities. And finally, health, for the general state of cleanness and functionality of the body. The lower it was, the more people were vulnerable to illnesses and poisons, their stamina regeneration and healing speed would decrease, and their power, agility, mind and charisma would decrease as well.

Life, stamina, psion and energy were displayed in percentage, no detailled amount. However it was noticed that life increased with power only, stamina increased with power and agility, psion increased with power and mind, and energy increased only with upgrades on the cybernetics parts for the cyborgs. The amount of life and stamina was also affected by the way you lived in the game, so 2 people with the same power or agility could have different amount of life and stamina. Just like the other characteristics, they were ranked from F to X. Tonyorobsky was A rank in life and stamina.

Back in the game, to avoid wasting water while traveling in dry lands, and just to avoid wasting space for additional water tanks, Tony and his npcs used bathing towel with a special bathing liquid to clean themselves. Many players neglected this stat, sometimes going several in-game days without proper hygien, but not Tonyorobsky. He got inspiration from the astronauts to remain clean every days while using as little water as possible. And his npcs did the same.

Tony left the lab and went outside. Back in the game, when he was traveling in the wilderness he would order either Robynn or Proteo to set it up. And it was there, he was happy to see their in-game habits carried over, because it was due to his orders. It wouldn't be a problem despite the cold of the north since the tent was made of strong alloys, polymers, and they had convinient equipments for differents condition. That tent could be used in many kind of environments, be it desertic, arctic, places with strong winds or an excess of water.

There was a good reason why Tony still used a tent even though he had a mobile base. Because the mobile base was for the well furnished infirmary, the well furnished tech lab, and the storage room. There was no room for beds. Tony sacrificed sleeping confort for better available equipment. A tent is good enough for decent sleep, but not for a decent infirmary or a decent tech lab. However, as he got in the tent, he was faced with a problem.

Back in the game, as a guy he would tell the girls to sleep with him, and had Proteo sleep in the car with the excuse that he could quickly use the heavy weaponery installed on the roof, or so they could make a quick escape with him already in the vehicule. Even though the senses were differents from reality, he still liked to hold onto them. So when he saw the 2 pretty girls in the tent his heart made a leap in his chest, and his cheeks got hot.

'They are no longer mere npcs, I can't just go and sleep with them like it's normal.'

“What are you standing there for Tony? Didn't you come to slee... What are you getting embarrassed for? Hahaha! It's not the first time we slept together. Don't think to much about it and come. It's cold outside, we will keep you warm.” said Robynn while smirking.

Uranus was looking from the corner of her eyes while blushing.

Robynn was a mutant, and like all mutants she had esp. There were several kind of esp, but it was roughly divided between 'burst' and 'trance'. All mutants could use both kinds, but one kind would be used without problem while the other could barely be used. Burst was for things similar to telekinesy, while trance was for things similar to telepathy. Tony made Robynn with telekinesy as her strong esp and empathy as her weak esp. She was able to pick up the feelings of people, as such she noticed his embarrassement.

'Damn, I forgot about her abilities... If I run away now, I will look pathetic in front of the girls, and I'm supposed to be their master. If I show weaknesses instead of confidence they may change. Even if I made them with absolute loyalty and devotion, they are no longer npcs... Maybe the best way to keep them is to act with them as I would in the game as much as possible, to keep showing that I'm the boss and that I'm not scared to order them around. Or not, let's go slowly about it, act like in the game, but not too much.'

After thinking for a bit, he sighted and went to bed next to the girls. He heard Robynn giggling a bit. Since he got in bed with them he got even more embarrassed, and slightly aroused. This close to her, there was no way she wouldn't pick it up. Tony was a bit saddened by his own reaction, and forced himself to ignore it and stay calm. Then Robynn turned toward him and looked at him seriously. He was a bit surprised by her serious gaze. She gave him a small kiss on the forehead.

“Sleep well Tony” she said without a hint of mischief. Then she turned around and went to sleep.

'What was that?… Ha... She felt my agitation and tried to calm me down... I guess I was worried for nothing... maybe...'

And effectively, he calmed down and went to sleep peacefully, like he would sometimes back in the game. Being embarrassemed at the idea of sleeping with them disappeared completely from his mind.

The next day, after cleaning themselves, eating breakfast and tidying everything, they went at the back of the mobile base for the medical examination. Thankfully there was nothing odd with neither of them.

“Ok, it's time to move. Proteo, you drive the car, Robynn you're with him, controling the stealth drone to keep scouting ahead of us. You will basically be Proteo's copilote. I will drive the mobile base, Uranus you will be with me, keeping an eye on any signs of communications.”

“!! Master, I'm not knowledgeable in-”

“You may think you're not suited for the task, but you will surely be able to see the difference between an absence of communications and the presence of communication. Just tell me the moment you notice something that wasn't there when we started moving. Proteo, Robynn, we will stay 150m behind you, just in case. Let's go!”

Both vehicules had their frames and bodies made of superalloys. Their armor were made of a composite of adamantine and ceramics. Adamantine was a new material made of depleted etherium, carbon, aluminium and titanium, and a few other components. It was one of the strongest materials known to man, with only 70% of the weight of iron, hard, resistant to extrem temperatures, corrosion and oxydation. The armor was 40mm thick around the passenger compartments, 25mm for the engines and the bottom of the vehicules, 10mm for the rest, except for the infirmary and lab tech, with 30mm. They could take quite the beating before going down.

The 2 vehicules could be linked so one of them could tow the other. More specifically, the first vehicule would control the second like a remote-controlled toy. Of course the programm took into consideration the differences between the 2 vehicules. The interior were made with confort in mind, as it was planned to spend a lot of time in the vehicules. There were several cameras and sensors, especially for the blind spots of the vehicules. Additional informations could be displayed on the windscreen. The engines weren't top class, but still of great quality, alimented by etheris reactors.

The car was basically an all-ground armored recon vehicule nicknamed Ranger. It was inspired from the ATV and its predecessor, the humvee, but with a softer, more civilian look, and it was amphibious. There were 5 seats in seats inside, 2 at the front and 3 at the back. The seats on the back were slightly moved back, as there was an opening on the roof for the heavy armament turret. The shooter could stand up without being hindered by the seats. As for the turret, it could turn around at 360°. and you could switch armaments, either the minigun or the railgun. The back was for equipment storage.

The mobile base looked like a class A motorhome, but slightly bigger, with 6 wheels at back, alimented by 2 etheris reactors. It could switch between 2wheels-steering mode and 14 wheels-steering mode depending on the path to take. The back contained the infirmary, with many equipments you usually wouldn't find outside of an hospital. The tech lab was in the middle, and behind the cockpit was the storage room, for food, cosmetics, clothes and other supplies. But there was also a toilet, Tony didn't feel like letting the girls do their business in the wilderness, even though they were just npcs.

Proteo and Robynn got into the car, while Tony got on the driver seat of the mobile base and Uranus got to the passenger seat with a laptop. Their trip toward the unknown southern lands began
