"I am an angel said by others, but I'm no virtuous being." -Akira Angelus Diabolus

Being alone these past days has been rough. I managed to make a meeting with the king and the cloud elf king through an advent child, so I’ll have to go in a bit. As of right now, I’m just sitting in my hotel room looking out the window thinking to myself what to say to apologize to Kasai. After all, I’m sure they will take a while developing their relationship, so I’ll get used to it somehow. Kasai seems like an OK girl to be around, but I never really had a normal conversation with her, so I can’t say much about it.

Contemplating about it, there’s always a possibility their relationship won’t work out like they plan to, and maybe then, I can try with Rukito… and that time… I will not be oblivious about him and prioritize him over my books and everything else. I don’t think I should be waiting or hoping something like this… but what else can I do? All I want for him is to be happy, but I can’t bear the fact that he is pleased with another girl, I can’t bear the fact that another girl has something I don’t.

If anybody compares Kasai and me, I’m sure that every single thing a wife needs I have more than her, the only thing she has more than me is looks, but that’s because she is a succubus, not because she worked for it. I’m an angel. I must be good, I must be uncorrupted, I must be nice. I will try my hardest to be the nicest girl I can be to him.

I remember back half a year ago when I had a boyfriend he started to get jealous, I actually used the guys I was with to make Rukito jealous; I never kissed those guys or anything, I maximum held hands with them, but I said they were my boyfriend to make Rukito very jealous. I told him how cool they were and he really started to get annoyed but he never really got that jealous as I expected… I think I shouldn’t have done that. Now I know how he feels…

He once told me I need to be more at peace with myself, I don’t know what he meant, but he kept sighing every time I bought a new dress or wasted a lot of money into materialistic things. He comes from the low class so I can’t understand his way of thinking that well. I looked at my ring and said,

“No matter how many things I buy… I’m never happy with them.” I started realizing that every time I buy something new, I get a temporary feeling of happiness, but that feeling fades away after a short period. While on the other hand, no matter how many times I hug, touch, talk or look at Rukito, I always get happy for some reason. No matter how many times I’m with him, I still get delighted. I looked at my watch and noticed that it was time to go to the meeting. This meeting will be crucial for my future… I better give it my best.

After walking to the King’s Cloud, I entered his castle. I got directed towards the meeting room by the guards. They opened the large wooden door for me and inside, I saw the Greenterra king, and the Cloud elf king sitting across from each other, with their counselors at the side of them to talk. There was also the advent child that helped me get into this meeting.

“Is she the girl?” Asked the cloud king to the advent child. Her name was Olivia, she had brown hair and green eyes just like mine, but of course, mine look better. The Human king was a middle age man with a beard and brown hair. The cloud elf king was pretty young, cloud elves maintain their youth for a long time anyway, he had long blue hair and silver eyes like every other cloud elf, but he had many tattoos or birthmarks.

“Yes, her name is Shizuka.”

“Hello Shizuka, you’re welcome to sit down.”

“Yes, your majesty.” Ugh, I don’t like lowering my head to anybody, now I have to talk like a lowly peasant to them. I decided to sit next to Olivia.

“I’ve heard from Olivia that you are interested in the topic at hand.” Said the elf king.

“Uh, yes. I’m very aware that the reason for this meeting is to let some magic be available to society.” I met Olivia at the library. We instantly became friends by our love of books, so I told her my intentions in the cloud kingdom; she explained why the whole meeting is happening, and she said that the Greenterra king wanted to open an academy named N.A.O.S, National Academy Of Singularities. Since I already wanted to open one myself in the future, I used this moment as a chance to tell them my vision for the academy.

“Good, good. I’m happy that you are here as to represent our nation.” Said the Greenterra king.

“Oh, no problem your majesty.”

“First things first, we discovered that 23% of people that unlock their magic flow had the same singularity.”

“That is no singularity, your majesty,” I said. He’s talking about my rose sorceress. It’s not a spiritual singularity, it’s something that some rare people get once they are born; they are born with a higher magic flow than usual, so that allows them to unlock something more significant than the singularities.

“Hmm? Then what it is?” Asked the Greenterra king.

“Some people are born with more magic flow than usual. It depends on their parents; if they both have powerful magic flow, the child will be born a sorceress.”

“How does this power work?” Asked the cloud elf king.

“Well, as far as I have discovered it’s a bit simple but yet complicated. There is this system called ‘The Diamond of Souls’ it’s basically a whole different magic system for these sorcerers.”

“The Diamond of Souls?”

“Yes, apparently it was made by a sign of peace between angels and devils. They both shared their powers and cultivated it to be even stronger.”

“Hmm… this is quite confusing.” Started saying both councilors. It soon started getting loud in the room with every single side talking with each other. I took out a book I had and slammed it against the table.

“Here, This will explain everything much better…”

“This is the diamond?” Asked the cloud elf king.

“Yes.”

“What kind of writing is this? I’ve never seen such a thing.”

“It’s ancient writing, and I learned how to read it on my own.”

“You learned how to read such thing on your own?!” Asked the Greenterra king.

“Yes.”

“Huh… you seem like a smart young woman.”

“Thank you, your majesty.” The cloud elf king got interested in it and said,

“Tell me more about this diamond.”

“Teachings can acquire the diamond of souls, you don’t have to be born a sorceress.”

“Hmm, I see.”

“At each side of this diamond there’s power; at the west side of the diamond there’s an attack, or what the ancient people called it, ‘Imki.’”

“Imki?”

“Yes, it can create offensive spells.”

“Interesting.”

“Then at the north of the diamond, there’s healing and clairvoyance, or what the ancient people call ‘Hitem.’”

“Healing could sure be beneficial in our society, especially in hospitals.” Said the Greenterra king.

“At the east of the diamond, there’s defense, which is ‘Deis’ in the old language. The opposite of Imki. It is used to create defensive magic.”

“Attack, defense, and healing… interesting.”

“And lastly, this is located in the south of the diamond, people call it differently, some may say: utility, agility or even entertainment magic, the ancient people called it ‘Yuem.’”

“We could always use more entertainment here in our culture after all.” Said the cloud elf king.

“How do you learn each side?” Asked the Greenterra king.

“Everyone is born with one side; once you start practicing it, you will realize which one you fall on. But there’s a limitation.”

“What limitation?”

“If you fall in one side, you can’t learn the opposite. If you were born with Imki (attack), you can’t learn Deis (defense) because they are opposites. Same with Hitem and Yuem.”

“I see…” Said the Greenterra king.

“I want to hear your idea for this said academy…” Said the cloud elf king.

“Hmm… I believe we should open an academy for singularities, but there are so many different and unique ones that it would be hard teaching people how to use them.”

“Hmm… what’s your solution for this?”

“My solution is to group people that have similar singularities to specific classes.”

“We are listening.” Said both kings.

“We will undoubtedly split the academy in four for a spiritual singularity side, a materialistic singularity side, a hybrid singularity side, and a diamond of souls side.

In all these different zones inside each side, we will have different classes specialized for a specific type of singularity. Some examples are Guns and artillery, blades, Armor and defense, healing, Intel, and others.”

“Wonderful idea, but why would we do something like that? What’s our profit?” I realized at this point that they were just trying to test me. But they are foolish if they think I didn’t plan every single thing.

“If we don’t open the academy, people will slowly realize that singularities do exist, and they will find out how to unlock them themselves and use them to cause harm to others. If we open an academy and make it public, the amount of terrorism will decrease since we will teach them that it can be used for good. As proof, black tombstone exists, we can’t allow more terrorists like them coming out of nowhere.” Both kings got alerted when they heard me saying black tombstone.

“Have they attacked you too?”

“Yes, they have.”

“I apologize… we are working really hard to find their hideout.” Said the Greenterra king.

“Yes, so are we.” Said the cloud elf king.

“It’s ok, I understand.” The kings looked at each other and nodded. They looked back at me and asked,

“Could you please give us a second?”

“Uhm, of course.” I walked out of the room. They kept chatting for a little while and then called me back in. I walked in, and the first thing they asked was,

“May I know how you know all of these things?” Asked the cloud elf king. I bowed down and said,

“My name is Shizuka Aizawa; I’m the proud daughter of Haruko and Ayumi Aizawa.”

“Aizawa?!” Said the Greenterra king.

“Yes, your majesty.”

“Please don’t call me your majesty, I’m nothing compared to the Aizawa family.”

“Huh? Who are they?” Asked the cloud elf king.

“They are a royal family of angels that lend us help in Greenterra with their super advanced technology that we can’t even comprehend. They are the reason we know what magic is and how it works. They are the ones that created the crystalis currency after all.”

“Royal Angels?! I don’t believe it!” I released my wings and halo. I learned how to do so while I was at the library researching for some books about angels.

“Oh my god… it is true.” Both kings got up from their chairs and bowed in front of me. Huh?.... is this how it feels to be… an angel? I’m surprised the Greenterra king knew that my parents were angels, but I didn’t, maybe they had different plans for me.

“Please, no such need for such politeness.”

“No, you are an immortal divine being. Not only you are an angel but coming from one of the two royal families of the angel planet?!” The kings turned around and signaled everyone to get down and bow to me. They all did, in front of me; I like being honored, but I was trying to avoid it since Rukito didn’t seem to like it. What the king just said reminded me of something; angels and devils live in separate planets in the universe, they own many worlds, but their kingdom is set in one specific planet only.

“Please, I beg of you, don’t be so polite.”

“As you say, lady Shizuka.” Said the Greenterra king.

“All we wanted to say is that you have all the power you want in managing the academy; you will be the principal if you wish so.” Said the cloud elf king. This is all I ever wanted since the begging. I gladly accepted the offer and left without any regrets… My parents have a lot of explaining to do.
