《World 2.0(DROPPED)》Chapter 4: Adventuring guild!

The trip over to the Adventuring Guild was nothing special. I, of course, didn't know the way, so I asked a nice old lady where it was, and she answered with no problems.
The Adventuring Guild´s guild building was awesome.
When I first a look at the building, I was sure it would shatter instantly. It just was so big, and I was really doubting whether I was looking around If I had not been able to see it from the Inn.
It looked as though it had once been a large stone pigpen, but extra rooms had been added here and there until it was several stories high and so crooked it looked as though it were held up by magic, which I reminded himself, it probably was. Six or seven chimneys were perched on top of the red roof. A lopsided sign, stuck in the ground near the entrance read, THE ADVENTURING GUILD.
When I first looked at It, It reminded me of something I had read about, but I could not remember where from.
Weird, I thought and walked into the building.
T he Inside was relatively normal. It had everything you would expect from this place. As long you had the right mindset everything here made sense. Guild halls are areas for guilds to make strategies, duel, socialize, and progress together. The Guildhall was divided into three areas. The first area was the front entrance. It was the serious area. This was where you did all the official stuff, like getting a quest from the quest-board, joining the guild at the counter, and make strategies about what to at the tables. This was where I needed to go.
The second area was the backside, and some of the upper floors, of the guild. It was the relaxation area. This place had three different bars, so you could get a drink from almost anywhere. There also was a massaging area where you could get your entire body massaged. For a cost, of course. This was where I wanted to go, but I could not afford It.

The third area was outside in the back of the guild. That was the training area. Here you could train different things. A Warrior could train in the battle arena, Archers could train at the range, and Mages could train their spellwork at a different range. This was where I did not want to go, but I needed to at a later date.
The leftover space was for the non-combatants. There were crafting areas, where they would make armor, potions, and reagents for magic rituals.
I looked around and quickly found the membership line. I walked over to the line and began to wait, but it seemed I had lightly bumped into the guy in front of me.
“Oh, sorry about that”, I said, hoping that a simple apology would diffuse the situation.
“Yeah Yeah”, said the guy, not taking offense from it.
T he line moved quite quickly, with it only taking about 2 minutes per person. It took a good 15 minutes before the guy in front of me was the next person to get his membership.
For some reason, it was beginning to take a little longer than normal. I could not really hear what the guy and the lady talked about, but it seemed like it was becoming a heated discussion.
Suddenly, the guy moved towards me. He went over to me, and grabbed my shoulders.
“It seems you have injured me from bumping into me. The healer's bill will cost me about 5 silvers, and if you don't want to have a similar bill, you should probably give me your money”, he said, in a very threatening manner.
Best to play it cool, or he will probably punch me in the face, I thought, debating whether, or not, I should give him my money. I decided he should not have my money.
“You do not seem that hurt. Maybe you just hurt your little pinkie toe while walking in here? With how wobbly you are looking when you walk, it would be a valid possibility”, I said, with a casual voice. It took me a moment to realize that he was going to punch me in the face.

His fist was flying through the air, with the trajectory being my face. I closed my eyes and tried to put my arms up in the defense.
The hit never came.
Did I have super dodge skills when I close my eyes? Nope. Some dude with long blond had stopped the punch midair and punched the guy with such a force that it was an instant KO.
He must be quite strong, I thought, as I looked at him. Something seemed different about him, but I could not figure out what it was.
I stopped inspecting him when he began to stare expectantly at me. He waited for a few seconds before he began to talk.
“It's now that you are supposed to say thank me”, he explained.
“Oh. Then thank you for saving me from getting a black eye”, I said, with a small smile. Not a big smile, because that would be weird.
He stared at me without saying anything, so I just began to walk over to the counter, to get my membership.
“Hi, welcome to the Adventure Guild! How can be of service today?”, the lady at the counter said, with a big smile on her face. Show off
“Hi, I was looking to get a membership here. Would that be possible?”, I asked. I was not sure if I qualified for a membership, but I certainly hoped so.
“Certainly. Would you be willing to ask a few questions before you get your membership? It will help speed the process up in the long run.”, She asked.
“I can do that. Just start with those questions.”
“Okay. Do you have any criminal history?”
“No”
“What is your primary goal with the Adventuring Guild?”
“Adventuring”
“Nothing more? Just doing quests from the quest board?”
“Yes”
“Oh, okay. Will you be doing this part-time or full-time?”
“Full-time”
“What's your specialty?”
“Mage”
“Okay, that's it for the questions. Anything else to add before we finalize your membership?”, she asked.
“Nope. Nothing.”, I said, with a smile on my face. Almost ready for adventuring.
“Okay. To finalize the membership, we will need a deposit of five silver.”, she said, with her hand stretched out to receive the currency.
I gave her the rest of my money, which meant I needed to get money today, or I would be sleeping in the street tonight.
The lady took the currency and put it somewhere under the desk.
She put some numbers into some sort of machine, and after a few seconds of it making a weird sound, out popped a card. The lady took the card, inspected it, and after finding no faults, gave it to me.
“Put a drop of blood on it, so that it binds itself to you”, she told me. I did as she said, and it lighted up for a few
The card had basic information about me. My name, specialty, and the date I joined the guild.
Wait, how did she get my name? Must be some kind of magic…
I put the card in my pocket and began walking over to the quest-board. As I didn't have a group right now, I had to do it alone. It was going to be hard, but I did not want to sleep on the street.
That's when I looked up and saw someone waiting.
It was that dude with the long blonde hair.
I wonder what he wants.
