Once again such boxes appeared in front the larvae. Nevertheless, the larvae did not stop eating. It was still hungry, and with each box his stomach seems to crave for more. More flesh, more energy, more mass.
He sank his horns into the heart again and tore a piece of the raw flesh out. It was oddly satisfying, the fly found. He kept tearing and eating and tearing and eaating and tearing and - What was that?
He turned around. Behind him, a blue larvae crunched on the flesh the same way he did. Its hooks sank deeper than him, and he tore out bigger pieces of flesh.
The larvae observed the newcomer. It ate the heart of the dragon while observing each strike. He seems to wriggle back a bit before sticking his horns inside the meat.
The larvae copied him. At first his horns only awkwardly stuck to the flesh, and it almost broke them, but with each strike the larvae understood the technique behind it.
Wriggle, aim, strike.

Slowly he tore out larger chunks of meat he could directly eat. Each strike filled him with power, and made him stronger.

The blue larvae saw the larvae as well. The larvae, the blue larvae noticed, had weird shadows on his body. The shadows, fluid and thick, wrapped itself all around its body and formed a smooth pattern. With each strike against the flesh, the pattern moved, and sticked to its skin.
The blue larvae slowly ate its way towards him, his horns clicked together. He still remembered the rush of power after he killed the yellow larvae. He wanted to feel it another time. More, More, MORE!
