"Ohh so you are finally here, what took you so long, come sit, want some tea? Not to brag but i got best tea on the whole world, or wait if i remember you are wine lover, never mind i have wine as well, want some? Why are you standing there like an idiot, come and have a seat!"
"Who are you, where am i, i just died so this should be hell, so you are devil?"
"What!? How can that bastard be as good looking as i am!" Answered that man that was looking like he was mid thirties, dressed in white with short black hair and grin on his face. In fact that whole room was decorated in white, chair, table, flooring, walls, only plants around were green.
"G-g-god?"
"Well yes, you can call me that and you wouldn't be wrong, or you could call me Allah, Nirvana, Pangu, whatever that's all the same..."
"But i thought you would look... Well different..."
"If you say Morgan Freeman im gonna smack you in the face i swear."
"No, no, no, definitely not Morgan Freeman!"
"Why because im not black? That's racist you know..."
"No, i didn't mean that, i just..."
"Ohh relax already, im messing with you, you are so stiff, hahaha, get it? Stiff because you are dead! Hahahaha!"
"Okay..."
"Ohh come on, do you even have a sense of humor at all? Come and sit, drink with me, let's talk a bit."
He walked couple of steps and sat on a wooden chair in front of him. In front of him on the table was a glass of wine, smell of that wine was totally breathtaking, he just couldn't resist it so he grabbed that glass and downed that wine in one mouthful.
"I told you i have best wine on this world." Said grinning god across the table.

"Now where were we, ohh yes i wanted to talk with you a bit before you go, you see it's quite boring up here so i spend a lot of time watching you guys down there, from time to time theres a person or two that grab my interest a bit, and you are one of those persons. You see, by heavenly law killing is a big no-no, and you did quite a lot of that, but that's not the point, you see, you mortals created something called art, or well just named everything that looks or sounds beautiful, art, and what interested me in you was that you made your every kill an art, every stroke of your sword was like a stroke of a paint brush of an master artist, every bullet you fired was like an heavenly hymn, you made death look beautiful, and i admire you for that so because of that i have a proposition for you."
"What kind of proposition?" He stared at god dumbfounded.
"Well you are a mercenary, an assassin, you get payed for your work, so what if i hired you for something?"
"Wait what?! Hire me, but you are a god why would you hire me?"
"Well it's not really hire, it's more like a bet, yes that's it, let's have a bet!"
"A bet? What kind of bet?"
"It's simple, you lose you spend your eternity with that brat downstairs boiling in one of his cauldrons or something like that..."
"And if i win?"
"I grant you a wish, any wish you want, well except you replacing me, you can have anything you want, hows that, interested?"
"Well... Yes, but what is the bet about?"
"It's simple, i send you to another world, i noticed you like games a lot and even consider your whole life a game, so it will be a world of game, win that game and you win the bet, lose and... Well you won't have to worry about company for the rest of your eternity!" Big grin was covering gods face as he said that.

"What kind of a game?"
"Let's see, i think you call it Survival RPG? Isn't it, yes you go you do what you do best and that is killing and you level up and beat the game, it can't be any more simple than that!"
"And how do i beat the game?"
"Well that's for you to figure out there, don't worry you will have company there, there are already some survivors there trying to, well survive and beat the game, interested?"
"And what if i refuse this bet?"
"Simple, we skip this bet and i send you to that brat to roast a bit until you suffer enough for your sins, which if i may say are a lot, then either disappear or reincarnate, depends how well you manage with heat, so what's your answer?"
"I... Can i think about it?"
"Of course you can, ill send you to that brat and you can think for however long you want!"
"Can i think about it without being roasted?"
"Nope!"
"Then i accept your bet..."
"As i knew you would, so any questions?"
"What happens when i arrive to that world you spoke of?"
"Well considering you are not reincarnating into that world like rest of the people, you will keep your memories, even that law of darkness that you managed to study, which is impressive considering the amount of people who actualy have a clue about universal laws, but you won't keep your strength, you will have a new body there and you can keep that half of soul you have right now, but you can pick your appearance if you wish?"
"Wait, half of soul? How come i have half of soul?"
"Ohh that, well when you love somebody you gift them with half of your soul, your problem is that you did love that girl, but she never really loved you, so you didn't get half of her soul in return. Sorry buddy bad news for you..."
"I see, so she never loved me..."
"Well, she did, it's just that she never loved you with all her hearth, she loved that paper and gold more than you."
"If i win this bet, can you return me to where i first met her and make her love me more than money?"
"Well that's against the rules, but considering it's a bet yes i could, but are you sure you want that for your wish?"
"Yes!"
"Okay, but i will wait until bet is over, you might change your mind on the way, it would be a waste if it was like that. So, ready to go?"
"Wait, will there be a problem with my half soul there?"
"Well it might be, if you decide to learn some soul magic or something you might suck at it because you have half soul, you know what, ill gift you with something in return so don't worry about it, any more questions?"
"Can i have some more wine before i go?"
"Nope, see you later, bye!"
Swoosh!
With a wave of a hand he disappeared from sight, god kept sitting there grinning foolishly.
"Ohh this will be fun, i have to watch this!"

The Storytellers
Myra Kahani lives in a world of gods and prayers. People around her constantly reach out to the gods for advice and suggestions at critical times in their life. But Myra has a problem. No matter what she does, she can't talk to the gods. When Myra meets Roam, an old, enigmatic Storyteller, she finally gets some answers. She learns of the origins of the Universe, the divide between mankind and their deities, and the important role that Storytellers play in her world. But the truth for Myra is just the beginning of her story. The Storytellers is a story that I began to develop from a series of shorter stories that I wrote for a mythology and folklore class. As such, they have a strong basis in the myths and folklore of various cultures and religions. Join me as I try my best to integrate these stories into my own and develop the world of the Storytellers and Myra herself. This is my first attempt at any sort of longer-form fiction so helpful advice is greatly appreciated!

Forced Development (What does it truly mean to live a fulfilling life?)
To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.
