《Dungeon Master Life In Another World!》Chapter 2

“There we go”
I nodded my head as I placed a huge chunk of fragrant meat that was bought for 30 dungeon points on the skeleton that was previously using the pickax.
It has been a few weeks since I became a dungeon master and now the dungeon has 5 rooms on the first floor and one small room on the second floor.
In the past the dungeon points I earned daily was only 5. Now probably because I increased the dungeon’s size, the daily dungeon points being earned was 13.
I am now currently setting my plans into motion.
“All right, let’s begin”
Ordering the skeleton to go outside, we walked for a hundred meters into the forest. Stopping in a open clearing, I took out a small knife from my pocket that was also bought for 5 dungeon points and sliced a considerable chunk of meat and placed it on top of some leaves.
“Let’s go”
We walked back to the dungeon and placed smaller chunks of meat every 5 meters on the way. Upon reaching the center of the first floor, I then took the still huge chunk of meat from the skeleton and dropped it on the floor.
“Skeleton No.2, go and rub some dirt on your body outside”
With a small nod, the skeleton then walked out of the cave. The dungeon currently has no water supply and since I didn’t want to use dungeon points unless it was necessary, I didn’t buy water from the dungeon shop.
I didn’t wash myself using the dirt outside unlike the skeleton since my body has a auto clean function. Whenever I get dirty, my body and clothes automatically gets cleaned. I just learned of this on the first few days after I became a dungeon master when I was helping the skeleton take out the soil and rocks outside. I noticed then that my body was still not that dirty even when I worked day and night.
After the skeleton came back with a dirt filled body, I then opened a solid rock like door with a scraping in the middle with big letters saying ‘BREAK ME IF YOU WANT TO ENTER THE NEXT ROOM’ using my authority as the one ruling this dungeon. After entering I then ordered it to close and then walked downstairs towards the second floor with skeleton No.2, waiting for someone or something to take the bait.

“…”
After who knows how many hours have passed. With a bored face, I along with my two monsters waited and waited. Opening the dungeon menu, it told me that it was now 3:30 pm in the evening. It seems that this world also has the same the same hours in a day, days in a week, and months in a year.
“Good thing this world also has similarities as the one on earth”
Nodding my head, I then noticed red dots appearing from the dungeon entrance slowly. Using the menu, I then zoomed in to look at the intruders.
“Goblins?”
Green skinned humanoid monsters wearing nothing but loincloths in order to hide their groin looked around cautiously as they slowly take steps forward towards their prize. Smelling the air, they then pounced on the piece of meat on the ground.
“Uwaaah”
Looking at the dungeon catalog, it told me that with all of these goblins entering the dungeon, I was now earning 78 dungeon points a day.
I mean they’re goblins right? That’s right Goblins. Why would goblins even give out so many dungeon points? Well the answer to this then appeared before me.
A hulking goblin reaching the height of 3 meters entered the room and kicked the nearby goblins away before swallowing the leftover meat whole. Even when the others looked on with hungry eyes, no one dared to take a step forward.
“What kind of goblin is this? Ahhh, maybe it’s an ogre… still I have a feeling it’s a goblin.”
Although dungeon masters can buy from the dungeon shop by searching for a name, that doesn’t mean there is a picture or information given. One time when I was just randomly browsing the dungeon shop, I spotted a book in the items category called basic monster encyclopedia costing 500 dungeon points.
I guess the older dungeon masters used this kind of books in order to decide what kind of monsters they should buy next. Sadly as I still have almost no dungeon points, I was not able to buy it. Once I earn a decent amount, I’ll make sure to buy this kind of books.
“*roar*”
With a roar, the green hulking figure waved his hands towards the rooms. Probably ordering the goblins to enter them and make sure that there was no one inside since the goblins began to enter the other rooms cautiously.

After sensing that there was no one other than them, the Ogre like goblin then laid down on the ground with a thud and started snoring.
“Good thing I bought that stone door. If I hadn’t they would’ve probably attacked here. I doubt the skeletons even stand a chance against that thing”
With a laugh, I then looked at the dungeon shop.
‘*Unnamed Dungeon*
Dungeon Points: 27
LANDSCAPE
Iron Door: 2,500
Stone Door: 150
Medium Sized Rocks: 2
Small Lake: 25,000
Moving Wall: 15,000
…’
“I didn’t technically fully blocked the passage so I don’t think I’ll be punished. I made sure to write that after all”
With a nod, I then opened the dungeon shop.
‘*Unnamed Dungeon*
Dungeon Points: 27
MONSTERS
Lesser Soul Eater: 25,000
Lesser Draconian: 35,000
Flame Dragon: 750,000
Giant: 25,000
Imp: 350
Glowing Earth Slime: 150
…’
“Edit Earth Slime”
A panel then appeared and told me what type of change I want to happen on the glowing earth slime.
“Remove movement speed completely and increase its digestive powers”
After a small light, then the panel did as it was told and showed me its new stats. After confirming that the price was greatly reduced to 25 dungeon points, I then bought the edited glowing earth slime.
“Skeleton No.2 go and dig some more and increase the rooms on this floor. After you're done with that use that sack to place the soil and rocks. Once it’s full, feed it to this glowing earth slime with it alright”
I said that while pointing at the iron pickax, sack, and finally the slime.
Skeleton No.2 did not move and just looked at me. With a sigh, I then explained everything in a much simpler form.
“Skeleton No.1 you should help as well”
With the same orders, I made Skeleton No.2 dig but unlike Skelton No.2 he had to use his hands. I didn’t have much of a choice as I don’t have that much dungeon points left.
‘I’ll just buy him a pickax and a sack once I get more dungeon points. Maybe I should buy one for me as well’
Deciding that, I walked towards the walls and then began to dig using my hands. The process was not that hard but it is somewhat painful. The occasional rock and the soil between my fingers made my hands bleed slightly. I had to wait for a few minutes to let my hands heal first before continuing once again.
I’m not doing this because I’m a workaholic or anything. I just wanted to increase the dungeon’s might as fast as possible. Once the dungeon reaches a certain level of power, I doubt I would even do something like this then.
“Huh?”
When my hands bled again, I stopped and looked at how the goblins were doing.
“Since when did that happen?”
The goblins’ numbers increased to 78 and now had multiple animals tied up, making the place seem to be overcrowded. The smaller animals are being eaten dead or alive while the bigger ones like reindeer like creatures were being mated by multiple goblins.
The rooms on the first floor were now increased to 7 and are still increasing. The goblins seem to have some sense in them and had different rooms for different purposes. The biggest being where the ogre like goblin slept alone.
It doesn’t seem they are that smart so I don’t think I’m breaking the rule. Still though, it made me break in cold sweat since they might be in the intelligent category as the rules wasn’t specific enough.
I didn’t know when these all happened especially since when did the goblins had wooden spears and rusty pickaxes. But since it was helping me develop my dungeon, I am just happy with it and didn’t bother finding out when this all happened.
Opening the dungeon menu, I was shocked as a shocking display of 131 dungeon points being earned were written in mid air.
“Aren’t I too lucky?”
In my previous life I wasn’t this lucky. Maybe I had used up all of my luck for a year and will be met by misfortune sometime in the future. Who knows? There is even a chance that a goddess of luck saw my kind heart and gave me a blessing of luck.
“*clang*”
With the hitting of the pickax on the wall, I was then brought back to reality.
Walking towards the wall, I then began digging once again. This time I took the pickax from Skeleton No.2.

Arching Choices
This is a story I used to do with people in an afterschool club, where I would make up a story, that the user/player would have options to choose from no matter how creative. There will be multiple polls, and I will read comments for the actions of the player, any one can play, because the charater will be gender neutral, but the choices will affect the story, whether it be your companions, and items you acquire. I'm a newbie writer but I just want to have some fun making a story. The chapters will be short so that the viewers can make choices. Longer chapters will be made once this has some good choice options. I thought it would be fun for the readers to develop the character's personality. Critisism welcome, because I have no idea how to write stories. P.S, Once the Character's personality is fleshed out the Synopsis will probably change
