Dear Self,

Anora is six cycles old and was born in 709 during the fourth week of spring. She is the third eldest and currently second youngest. Anora is the strongest Adapt in the family and started awakening a little before she was four. She manifests primarily as External, but secondarily as Subtle.

Mystics like Anora are rarely capable of using any Ancient Magic as she is, and she holds memory from outside of her current life instead of the precognitive knowledge some mystics are known for, being more focused towards perceiving a specific past rather than the present or the future. Her gifts as a mystic have made her slightly more mature for a child her age, but I do not think she has grown arrogant or superior in any way. She avoids talking about whatever secrets her gifts have shown her, so I do not know the nature of her gifts beyond speculation.

Physically, she is the strangest between us in the traits she has inherited. Umari is a changeling, and Vrulath is a normal kobold with a great grandparent who was a gnome. Anora inherited large eyes and a bigger nose from the troll ancestry Mother has, but mostly resembles a kobold in her body structure. She also inherited gilded eyes from Aunt Ekelyn, who adopted Mother, which makes her eyes appear like sheer crystals without sclera or pupils in a bright blue colour to match our father’s eyes.

She is now studying at the Ehulreth Mysterium on the mainland. She only visits home so much because she can use the Gates by herself and doesn’t need to pay each time she travels through them. Her studies focus on Affluent Magic, which is a very general way of saying everything as long as it’s modern enough. She avoid frequent use of her Ancient Magic. She also spent a lot of time on studying history than I have, all the way back to the Repentance.

I think she makes for the best sibling between us four, unless Tori catches up with her when he gets older. She’s the only one who goes through as much trouble to stay in regular contact across large distances. I don’t even get along with Vaeril as well as I do with her,and we’re twins!
