Chapter 197 – Don’t Bother None
The Noble District was greater than ever. The houses were fancy and the marbled designs on them made for such a distinguished scene. Ramiel walked on the streets of the noble district. While walking he felt the stares of the wonderful ladies. Not because he was handsome, not because he looked like a noble. But merely the way his aura stands out. Ramiel had the aura of a grizzled veteran. He also technically helped in slaying a dragon once so the aura sticks in.
So the noble ladies on the district who were wearing decorated armor instead of fancy dresses were curious of Ramiel. If the ladies were before the Sanctus curse happened. Then they would have worn fancy dresses instead of such armor. These ladies are of people who came from families who intend to help in culling the Sanctus Curse. Noblesse oblige is what they call it, and these noble ladies, who stick their lives and honor were serious. Making Ramiel felt like times do change.
Ramiel arrived on the location where the house of Argos stands. It was quite large, more of a mansion now. Inside he could see people from the Argos Family training. Ramiel approached the gates. A guard keeper looked Ramiel.
“Who are you?”
“I am Grom, a representative of Fernery Island.”
Ramiel showed up off the brand of anyone who lives in the Island of Fernery. It is a brand that comes naturally for those who are basked in Mefinami’s light for far too long. Not to mention that the brand on Ramiel was known, simply because he was the loyal puppet of Pandora.
“I see...though it is surprising to see you well look normal Sir.”
‘Yes, indeed the metal skin of mine has faded. Maybe it is due to the miracles happening all over the place?”

“Indeed sir, maybe because of that. It is great news. Please wait for here. I will contact the head to take you to the Mistress.”
“Understood, please do not make me wait long.”
Ramie waited with arms crossed. He looked at the trainees on the compound of the house. They were eager despite the sun up high in the sky. The mansion is located on a high ground so Ramiel could see the blue ocean and feel its air coming towards him. It took about five minutes of standing till one of the attendants wearing a tailcoat arrived to greet Grom. The attendant was quite buffed, tall and leaned. Ramiel ignored the attendant and just told to take him to the mistress. The attendant didn’t waste time either knowing that Ramiel might be an important figure.
He took Ramiel along the halls of the mansion. Boasting about the glory of the Argos House and telling Ramiel about their achievements. Ramiel didn’t really care and just focused on keeping feet steady while walking. The mansion had three floors. The office of the mistress is located on top of the mansion. Arriving I front of the door. The attendant knocked first before opening the door for Ramiel.
...
When Ramiel entered he saw a black haired lady with crimson eyes. Her hair was braided and she has a snow white skin. Wearing an elegant black dress, the lady of Argos was covered in paperwork.
“So the hound dog of Pandora coming in freely. What a surprise this is.”
The Lady of the House of Argos, Aubrey, put her paperwork aside to observe the man before her. Looking at the Shemagh wearing man, with a brown longcoat and a carbine behind his back, Aubrey frowned.
“I have known that you were clad of metal Sir Grom. But now that you aren’t, isn’t it inappropriate for you to cover yourself up in that cloth?”

“Indeed, it is really rude of me, Miss Aubrey.”
Ramiel lowered his Shemagh down to his neck.
“It is nice to meet you again. Do you still remember this old me?”
The Lady of Argos widened her eyes. Removing the mask on his face revealed Ramiel’s features, his long white hair, and his vacant eyes. His hair was more grayish a long time ago. But with time passing his hair turned white. So seeing Ramiel’s face made the lady widen her eyes.
“It’s you!”
“Surprising isn’t it milady to think that I would live long enough to be your Reaper?”
“Are you planning to kill me then? To take revenge for what Gundry did?”
“So you knew huh?”
“Gundry told me on his deathbed...I was looking for you...but it seems that when I thought you would be dead for a long time now. You would appear to me. ”
“Funny isn’t it? Oh well, are my things still okay Miss Aubrey?”
“Yes, it’s here. Take it.”
The Lady of Argos has kept Ramiel’s thing near her. The items were precious after all and learning how to use them was quite useful to her. Because of it, she was able to copy manuals and destroy anything before they could be taken from her. She made use of it well, knowing it came from someone that her attendant threw away like trash.
“You are giving it to me that easily?”
“It's’ yours...besides you are going to kill me right?”
‘Where did you get that idea?”
“Huh?”
“Come on now, I mean it has been hundred years. Sure Gundry fucked me over and made me suffer but in the end, if it wasn’t for him then I wouldn’t have an island worth of family or even experienced all of those things. I would have died as a server at Miss Felli’s Inn, which isn’t that bad. But still, my feelings for you are complicated. And I have gone past the anger stage and am quite confused if I really should just point a muzzle at your head. But even so...killing someone, before I die sure, sounds awful, so I am just going to take these, and get out of here.”
“What...huh...”
“What? Not everyone is bloodthirsty. Besides, you should cast a life ward on me. So you can recover these things after I die. Is that okay with you Miss Aubrey?”
Saying that Ramiel left the office of the lady of the house of Argos, he could kill her but at the moment he was too weak. He could even barely move his right arm anymore. Plus he wanted to bother none. And all he wanted to for was to go to that place.
