Alessa Neumann-Harou's bad day is about to get worse.

She just lost her job at the Buearu of Interplanar Relations. At the same time a group of her now former colleagues are headed into danger and an eldritch extraplanar entity might well blame her for it if they actually manage to die.

Her career is on the rocks, her life might be in peril, and someone is leaving anonymous expensive presents inside of her house. This is not what she'd signed up for when she agreed to work in the human world, but she's going to make it work.
