Chapter 8
A Fated Encounter
The girl was the very girl who I had saved from underneath the rubble. I looked at her, her eyes were golden which greatly complemented her dark red hair.
She looked a lot better after resting for a bit and upon staring at her she also stared at me.
She then said “Thank You… For saving me…” it was in a low but croaky shy voice
I responded by saying that it was fine and I had to help as her life was in danger. She quickly shook her head and said “You may not think it was anything special… But to me, you gave me a new life…”
She looked so pretty but it dawned on me that she looked to be around my age. I slowly walked towards her and then patted her head which made her face blush, which made her face more visibly distressed but I removed my hand and told her she should go get more rest.
She simply nodded and then followed the knight who led her to a room down the hall. Mother looked at me and said “Wow! My son has already charmed his first Victim… I worry if you may draw too much attention because of your kindness Leon…” She then shook her head and chuckled.
I simply looked at her and sighed, after what mother had said I tried to change the topic and asked what we were going to do with all the children?
She said that she would build another orphanage and investigate what happened to the previous orphanage that got destroyed. I told them that it was due to slave traffickers who were taking the children from the orphanage to a cave where they were going to sell them later on.
Mother’s face became tense and then said for me to also go and rest. I simply hugged her and then did as I was told heading to my room. On the way, I met Sam who was panicked as she had not seen me after the morning and was nervous about where I was.

I reassured her I was safe and not injured and she checked to make sure. After her inspection she found that I was ok, I told her that I wanted to head to sleep after my adventure today as I also nearly used up all the mana I had during the fight with the Slave traders.
When I reached my bed, night had begun to fall and Sam tucked me into bed and left once I closed my eyes. I then drifted off into a nice calm sleep until…
I opened my eyes however I wasn't in my room but rather it seemed to be a large room with a throne across from me. I looked around and saw that there were banners hanging on the pillars which held up the area. There was one which I saw which was the symbol of Count Lisa who was a vampire you fought as you explored the world.
I then saw another banner which showed the symbol of Count Kire, another vampire you were able to fight while exploring the world. The banners all contained symbols of other Count vampires which meant I was most likely in the Vampire realm.
The vampire realm was separated through the means of a transdimensional pocket of space separate from earth. It meant I was transported here, I looked around and saw various paintings of an individual who was shrouded in a dark void never truly revealing his face.
I tried to look closer however wasn't able to distinguish any real facial details from the painting so then I made my way toward the throne. After getting close enough I was able to see that a figure had been on the throne the whole time. He had silk dark black hair and once I was close enough his eyes opened revealing that his Iris was purple like mine.

He simply stared at me for a few moments and then ushered me to come closer. After I was right in front of the throne he got up making his way toward me. As he walked his footsteps echoed throughout the chamber and reverbed all over until he reached a foot away from me.
He looked at me and tilted his head and then said “ You… Indeed you are a possessor of Pure Blood. I wonder why you were born in the human realm, you have yet to awaken. You seem much like a vampire but yet you aren’t, you possess powers beyond that of humans, vampires, demons, and of any other race… Just… what are you?”
I was puzzled at what he said and wanted to further ask him what he meant but then he simply sighed and then said “You have yet to awaken… So I will simply give you a simple push in the right direction.”
He came right to me and then placed his hand on my forehead and then suddenly my body began to heat up and I started to sweat and I fell down on my knees. I felt agonizing pain as I felt my bones breaking and then recreating themselves. My skin peeled off and had regrown again while I watched. After my outer body and bones were done regenerating, my inner body parts all began to change, feeling that everything tore apart and recreated themselves made me feel like I passing out.
I nearly passed however the man said to hold on a little longer as we were nearly done.

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. Bow of the North
In game of thrones i felt that the Starks received way too much hardships and tragedy. i know that there were vital points of story, and there were times these hardships were building points for their characters, but i feel when every member of a family has been either killed, raped or crippled then they deserve a break. In my story that break comes in the form of a powerful hunter/general from another world. I have no intention of altering the story to save every stark, or have them win every time, and some of my favourite characters may even be victims of this plot change as well. edited The main character, and there will be several new characters introduced to the storyline, will not just be some over powered guy who makes outrageous decisions that always work out (cough Plot armour) but will be someone that treats the world as a real world and has fears, doubts and is cautious in his decisions. He is susceptible to changing his mind and character traits depending on his experiences in this life. The story will primarily follow the plot at the beginning with some minor changes, and as more things change they will increase till the entire story is changed at the end. I am not copying the world of GoT exactly. cultures, politics and nobility may be changed or made up.
