Chapter 7

Truths Revealed

The beautiful lady who had pale white skin also had silver hair which faded out into a light pink color upon closer observation.

She looked at me and then commented “It seems like you have yet to fully awaken and show your true potential.”

I stared at her in further confusion and wanted to ask her what she meant by awakening? But she just slowly made her way to me and within a few seconds, she arrived at my face picking me up from off the ground and placing me down.

I knew she was a vampire as I had given them unique characteristics opposed to other races.

I had seen that her eyes were crimson red and that her skin was warm rather than cold as opposed to what people were made to believe about vampires being cold-blooded. I wanted to ask her questions but she just said that she would wait and watch my progress from afar and then just as suddenly she appeared, she suddenly disappeared.

I was left dumbfounded but I eventually regained my calm and helped the kids from the orphanage leave the cave. Upon seeing the light at the entrance of the tunnel there were many kids waiting on standby.

I had counted 223 kids and then sighed inwardly as I had no clue what to do with the children along with what the Lady had said about Pure Blood.

I pondered on what she meant but the only thing that came to mind was that Pure Blood meant I was a “True” pure breed of something which was most likely a vampire but that seemed impossible as I looked like a normal human.

I quickly regained my mind and thought about what to do with the children. I quickly thought that it would be best to take the children with me to discuss plans with my father on what to do.

The children were all visibly shaken at what they had witnessed so I calmed all of them as best I could telling them to follow me. I led all the children quickly through the first as to avoid dealing with wild magical creatures which occupied various parts of the forest.

After reaching the mansion I saw that there were a lot more guards on patrol at the entrance and once I approached one of them quickly ran towards the main building.

After a few moments, I saw my mother approaching quickly at the front of the mansion gates and quickly hugged me telling me how worried she was.

She then released me from her grasp and saw all the kids behind me.

She was appalled at a large number of children but then noticed that they weren’t all humans. Thankfully our kingdom does not discriminate against other races but rather lives peacefully with all the different races.

My mother looked at me then gestured for the guards to lead the kids in. I quickly then remembered I left the girl I saved from the cellar on the tower…

I quickly told mother I had to go get someone, I created a portal and walked in, I was able to see that the girl I saved was still unconscious, I then carefully put her on my back and went back through the portal. one of the guards took her from my back and carried her on his back into the mansion.

Mother asked where all these children were from, I told her that most of the kids were from a hidden area that was located several mins away from and within a cave. She was at a loss for words and felt worried about the things I had most likely witnessed within the cave.

I told her I was fine but she just held me tighter telling me it was ok and after a few moments she released me from her hug. We both then headed inside the mansion and upon doing so we saw that all the kids had been led into the many rooms within the mansion.

However, there was a girl who was still standing by the entrance.
