Chapter 6
Mysterious Encounter
When the spells reached the location I had already created a portal away from the area and I was now out in the open. The area we were in was a large area with various stalagmites and rock formations all around us.
I contemplated how they knew my location but saw that the man who beat the child to death had sensed a killing intent from my direction and then secretly signaled the men to fire spells at me.
However now I was now exposed my only options were to leave the children behind or fight the group of 4 men and then save the children. In my mind, I wanted to run but natural instinct told me I'd said I was able to win.
One of the men shouted to the others saying “BE CAREFUL THE KID HAS A UNKNOWN MAGIC! LET’S QUICKLY GET RID OF HIM AND THEN QUICKLY FINISH THE TRANSACTION WITH CHILDREN!”
The fear of a real fight quickly sunk in and I knew that this was now a life or death situation but this type of experience was needed in order to survive in this world. I quickly created a blade of blood and then propelled myself towards the man who said the command.
However, once I was within striking distance the man with wind magic created a wall of wind-blocking my strike allowing the man who I was aiming for to kick me.
I tried using a moon-style sword move but it didn’t work allowing a punch to go through.
I braced myself but was pushed back a good distance; however, most of the impact was absorbed by the flat side of the blade. The other 2 men who used fire magic launched a barrage of fire arrows toward me and then the man who seemed to be their leader quickly launched himself in my direction.

I quickly distorted the area around myself creating a distortion shield that easily negated all the flame arrows aimed at me.
When their leader saw this he quickly stopped himself and then cast a spell on himself which seemed to have boosted his speed and physical strength.
He gave off a more dangerous aura after buffing himself and then he proceeded in his advance toward me. My shield of distortion had dematerialized and now I was wide open once more and just then I swung my blade vertically and his leg and my blade came into contact.
At the point of collision, there were sparks which left me confused and upon closer inspection, I saw that his shoes weren’t normal. They were made out of metal and were extremely heavy.
I quickly understood that he was a monk class user who had strong physical prowess but also was nimble allowing them to block and dodge easily.
He then did a low sweep kick but I managed to jump and avoid it but then he kneed me in the stomach causing me to cough out some blood. I quickly tried to make the distance but the wind mage created a wall behind me trapping me.
The leader was laughing and chuckling to himself and said “Damn kid your one tuff pest. Why don’t you join us and we promise to spare the children as long as you come with us.”
I laughed at his words and then his face became distorted at my laughter and then I put my middle finger up. He was extremely pissed and quickly made his way toward me, seeming as if he wanted to finish me.
I quickly got up and blocked his attack but then created a portal and stabbed my blood blade through it which took the life of one of the fire mages.

Their leader became more upset and his eyes were bloodshot red at the death of his underling. The leader then rushed toward me to finish me off before I could do any further damage.
I was greatly weakened and could barely muster any more energy.
However just as he was about to reach me he stopped dead in his tracks. Just behind me a red portal that had ruptured the space around it appeared suddenly.
From within the red portal, I smelled a strong stench of blood and death. From the portal emerged a woman who was extremely pale but she was also extremely beautiful and elegant.
She looked at me but then her diverted attention looked towards the group of men. The leader looked shocked but still, he shouted to his men “Use wind wall and block off the intruder and use fire arrows to provide cover for me! I will try to finish this quickly!”
As soon as he said his commands his head came off of his body with a clean cut. From where his head should be there was nothing, but instead a stump was all that was left along with blood that spewed out from it. All the blood began coming out of his body and started gathering, forming an orb of blood above the body.
I saw that the woman was still just staring at the men with no emotion and then she lifted her index finger up and pointed towards the men and then the blood orb dispersed and formed into spears. The blood spears made their way towards the remaining mages in the back and they were quickly pierced by the spears through their chest ending their lives.
Once they were dead she quickly created several other orbs of blood and absorbed them. I heard her say something under her breath “What filthy blood…”
She then turned her gaze towards me saying “ You…” She stopped for a second and then proceeded to say “You look weak for a Pureblood but that seems to be due to being in the Human world for too long.”
I looked at her in confusion but at the same time, the book with the dark red cover reacted, appearing in front of me opening to a page showing a man who was sitting on a throne.
I read the description underneath the picture and saw that it was a picture of a man on a throne who was named Dracula Vlad Tepist. It dawned on me that this may be the world I created but there are many events that were not included in the original game.
This realization made me worry for the future but I still knew a great deal more about this world than anyone else. I regained my composure and looked up from the page at the lady who was standing only 8 feet away.
She then started talking again…
