Activating my Overchange again I created space between Avon and me, but I was one step late.

Crap to think that tentacle moves that fast but in trading, for one add-on I successfully exit his attack range. I immediately launch four torpedoes towards him while leaving some mines on my way. I know those slow ass torpedoes will not hit him so, I just used as a decoy for my next attack.
As I anticipated the end of Avon's tentacles separated into three separate parts then shoots a small shell from each tips shooting down each of my torpedoes without any problem, then it noticed a tungsten rod I launched following after.
Immediately moving many tentacles, Avon attempted to defend his own large eye from incoming tungsten rod.

At the same time, I opened fire from all of my guns and minions aiming at Avon's tentacles.

Suddenly Avon shot an x shaped beam from it is eye hitting right in mid of between my eye.

At the moment of activation, I heard the sound of one engine blasting apart but it is okay I got three more to go.
With increased speed, I move away from his beam while damaging even more of my add-ons but using mad cell I restored some of them back. This is bad my energy drain couldn't keep up with my energy conversion further continuing this definitely it will lead my demise.

I moved my arms towards one of my damaged part of my body and grabbing Armory add-on.
Thank god I disabled my pain inhibitor. I directly ripped off the Armory and thrown towards Avon.
*BOOM!*
With a large explosion, my Armory launches bullets everywhere damaging me and Avon alike but thanks to my armour I suffered less damage than him. Repair node and mad cell coursing through my body it immediately restores my outer layer. Now I can transform my energy accumulated from damage and use as ammunition. But I noticed Avon also repairing it is damage in rapid pace damn I know I am not a special one that only received Mad Engine.
Avon and I began to exchange shots one after another while I slowly luring him to show his back towards dock's defence. In mid of exchange, I noticed three Abyssal Hunters slowly moving towards my sides while in transparent form after finishing off my minions.

I immediately activated my BG-50 locking on hunters while giving the command to repair minion inside the dry dock to give the sign to attack. A moments later torpedo hatch opens behind the Avon and launches the torpedo.

Avon roared in pain after receiving the massive damage on it vulnerable back at the same time blasting numbers of it is tentacles. Using it a chance, I quickly kill last three hunters using my arms and guns. This kind of situation will never appear again as if I let it slide.
Then I launch torpedoes and rushes towards him while firing my guns I must not let him fire that beam again.
*Bang!*

His eye almost instantly restored and he fired beam towards me. My hp meter began to decrease in rapid pace at the same time my energy meter fills up and began to give me warning signals.

In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore.
