Chapter 8: Exhibitionist part 2
===================================
“Pft”
“Hi-”
Stifling their laughter, the group looked at Adam with a mixture of pity and mocking stares. Conner had the latter and failed to hold in his laughter.
“HAHAHA! Exhibitionist! What kind of stat is that! HAHAHA! Oh my sides are killing me--OOF”
With a thud, Conner fell onto the floor.
“If your sides hurt so much, I guess it wouldn't make a difference if I kicked it now would it.”
Adam was livid and would've been intimidating if it weren't for the intense blush across his face. Wiping her tears, Ophelia also commented.
“Haha! Gosh, now we definitely know what to call you by when we need you. Won't we Mr. Samurai Exhibitionist?” Adam's face turned a shade redder.
“Oi speaking of names, your middle name should be Irony, Ophelia. Who ever heard of a snake being a druid?”
“That's pretty funny Conner, but unlike you I like to help people more than hurt them. On the other hand, your class seems to fit you perfectly.”
= No I think the problem here is the fact you like hurting at all. =
Robin shook his head and turned to Blake.
“Blake, you're a ninja? Do you perhaps like reading ninja novels?”
Blushing slightly, Blake answered
“Yeah I'm kinda a fan. I found a section filled with it in the library, and I kinda got hooked on it. It's kinda embarassing having it found out this way. Although this one novel I'm currently reading isn't that interesting. It's called Gay-ruto. It follows some guy that chases after his friend Sasu-gay. The heroine isn't even noticeable, so much I've already forgotten her name. Furthermore, the entire series could be condensed into a single book, but the author deliberately extends it to milk more money. It so frustrating because I've followed it for so long and it's getting NOWHERE.....*huff*huff*”

Surprising everyone, Blake had started ranting. Running out of breath, she stopped and calmed down.
“But I think out of everyone here, yours is the most powerful Robin.”
Ophelia and Conner nodded, while Adam had a sour look on his face.
“I don't think it's that special. Remember what Mrs. Kertenkela said. Stats don't mean everything. Experience and knowledge does.”
“...right. They aren't everything.” Adam started murmuring in a voice too low to be heard by anyone.
“..!! Ah we need to finish our food! We spent too much time talking and now lunch is almost over.”
Hurrying to finish their food, the group devoured the last of their meal just in time for the bell to ring. Getting up and disposing of their trash, they went back into the building. Leaving for their separate classes, they dispersed and went their own ways.
Upon entering history class, he found himself with the antler woman from the morning examination for the teacher, and a class full of six to seven year old.
“Welcome, have a seat. Now class for those who don't already know me my name is Elizabeth Gera. You will all refer to me as Mrs. Gera. With that lets start the lesson.”
History was refreshing. Because he went all out in the exam, the class was pretty interesting and taught him some new stuff. The same was for Mechanics. They went over the basics of electricity and gave a relatively simple assignment of finding 10 sources of technology.
Math and English, however, was indescribably boring since the teachers had put nothing more difficult than 7th grade math, and he was an 'A' sophomore student as Robin Cunningham.
He thanked the fact that the world of Remnant's universal language was English while cursing the boring years to come. His mind began to wander, and Robin started rethinking his situation.

= ...Even though I don't like being the center of attention, I've already been marked as a genius by my classmates and teacher. Do I really have to lay low for no reason? Isn't that something the old me would do? … On one hand, it means more trouble; on the other hand, I would actually be changing myself and I won't have to spend my days sleeping off in these classes. =
Before Robin reached a decision, the bell rung signaling the end of math class. It was time for Personal Training.
I did some research into comedy. What did you guys think? I tried to add in moments to lighten the mood. Now I have to go research clothing, cuz other than shirt, dress, pants, and jeans, I am clueless >.> A battle system is really time-consuming and now I realize just how much time it takes to come up with this stuff. Comment what you like about it, what you hate. What made you cringe or laugh. Next chapter we talk about Grimm. See you in a few days :D

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.
8 62Candor: The Forgotten House
*** Please read note below *** As a 16-year-old mage from a powerful family, Jayce Candor had known from a young age what his future would hold. As the fourth son in his family the possibility of him becoming the heir to the household was very small. But, with his talent as a mage, his potential accomplishments in the military could lead to titles of nobility and political power. However, on what would otherwise be an unremarkable night, everything he had ever known, the only people he ever cared for, and all of the plans for his future were destroyed. House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
