After he finished killing the goblins Vance ordered his men to search for any missing people and finish off the remaining goblins. After a few minutes of searching, Whitey's armed minion found an underground cave blocked by a thick steel door.
That thick steel door soon became Whitey's dinner as she absorbed it into herself . After Whitey finished eating the door Vance found what remained of the missing men's corpses. They had been butchered and arranged into edible parts and the females had been moved into the breeding room which was mixed with the filth of goblins.
Quickly Vance blocked Whitey's eyes and asked her to guard the entrance.
"Do you want to live?" Vance asked the women in the room. When they heard Vance's word some of them tried to answer but only their mouth moved without making any sound.
Vance ordered his men to take the women who tried to answer to the entrance and said to the others
"I take it that you want to end it" . Vance found their desire to end their pain in the women's eyes as their eyes shined without any light.
"Raise your weapons!" said Vance to his men.
"Aim!" Vance aimed his laspistol to one woman's head.
"Fire!"
The woman along with the others dropped onto the ground with a peaceful expression on their face.
Vance spoke to the women that chose to live while his men were cremating the other people's corpses.
"Choose! Do you want to go with us to grasp power so this never happens to you again or do you want to return to your families to live in what passes for peace around here " he said in a strict tone.
Only ten of them chose to follow him and the others chose to return to their family. Power it seemed wasn't for everyone.
Suddenly Vance noticed a fireball and an earth spear coming towards his position very quickly. He dodged towards his left side behind cover as he took his gun while he screamed "Enemy attack! Thorne, Rudge!"

With a *Boom* and a *crack* a few meters away from him a fireball explodes soon followed by the spear.
"Here! Sir!" Thorne and Rudge greeted Vance as they dove to his cover.
"Any casualties?" asked Vance
"Five injured, no deaths sir!" the Two Corporals answer.
"Take the injured and the people we rescued to a safe place further back into the cavern. We'll form three groups and comb the area for the enemy. The enemy is armed with explosive projectile weapons avoid close combat against one armed with sword and capture them alive." Vance says quickly as his mind clears and gives the order.
Thorne and Rudge reply "Roger !"
With Whitey her minions and some guardsmen Vance walks towards the direction that the fireball came from when suddenly one of the armed minions rushed into the darkness. Moments later Vance hears the clashing of iron .
Then Vance found five people attacking the armed minion. Two people with swords slashed at the armed minion. But the two swords didn't even leave a mark on the minion's body.
Without any worry, Vance aimed his lasgun at the other two holding a bow and a staff. With his newly trained accuracy, Vance destroyed the mage's staff and ranger's bow with a few shots and rushed to the one holding a staff with his armoured fists.
As a last ditch effort the mage prepared to fire some unfinished magic but Whitey commanded her armed minion to fire a grenade from its launcher to the rear of the mage.
A shockwave was created by the explosion and temporarily stunned the mage and the unknown archer. Using that as a chance Vance sent a punch to the man's liver.
With nothing but cloth as armor the mage received the full force of his punch and slumped onto the ground as the archer came at him with a dagger. Vance immediately took his laspistol and blasted the archers dagger out of his hand before he hit him over the back of the head with the grip of his laspistol to the ground.

When Vance looked up and checked the armed minion fighting. The minion already ripped apart the very armor that two men were wearing including their underwear.
Vance had one of his subordinates tie them up with some rope and tells Whitey to command an armed minion to watch them.
"Don't even try to make any sudden moves from this minion or -" explained Vance but before he finishes his sentence the ranger asked insolently, "Or else what? huh! "
"This!", said Vance as he snaps his finger.
The weapon heavy minion with the Heavy Stubber heard the snap of his fingers and it started to fire at the nearest rock before it spontaneously turned into dust by the fire of the Heavy Stubber mere moments later.
The ranger, mage and his companions were stunned they had never seen such powerful technology before in their empire.
After hours of searching Vance found only ten people. From the way they were dressed Vance knew they were nobles not bandits. So with some good'ol gun to the face talk, they answered all of his questions.
They were some of the noble members of Oswin's band and they were searching for some more bandits to kill for a match between them but they mistook Vance's men as bandits as they did not believe Vance led any men.
Even though it was a mistake they still tried to kill him and Vance believed that murder was still murder, but because they were nobles he couldn't just kill them otherwise he'd be in trouble with the rest of their kin. So as punishment Vance confiscated their equipment and left them in front of the village's gate.
Afterwards, Vance and his men realised they had returned with some of the missing people of the village and not just some random passerby when one of them met some of their family members who suddenly cried in happiness, while ones who had received the news about the deaths of some of their members by those that returned, cried in sorrow.
Vance asked the family of the ten females who chose to follow him to come and join him as well . Some of the families agreed to his wish while some of them just chased him away along with their former family member for dirtying themselves with the goblins. Vance gave those people a long hard look as he and the woman walked away.
Some of the women entered Vance's carriage with a stone face along with the others and with nothing but some clothes.

On their way back to the city, Vance chose his next training mission . He chose the 'Junior Commissar training' and pressed start.
Again everything around him changed this time, into an imperial guard military training ground in what appeared to be in a large and extensive fortress. He was wearing a leather long coat, gloves, jackboots, and high-peaked caps with an emblem of a cadet commissar.
"ATTENTION!" Vance hears a loud voice and turned his head from the surrounding fortress to focus his sight on the man standing in front of him. A man wearing a leather long coat, gloves, jackboots, and high-peaked caps armed with a power sword and bolter pistol along with four servitor skulls floating behind him.
Half of his face was full of cybernetic enhancements. The man's cybernetic eye glowed when he saw Vance.
"I am Commissar-General Delane Oktar, The magisterium of the god emperor has assigned me to train you in the art of war. I will imprint the resolve of a proper commissar on you and the duty that is bestowed upon the imperium commissars even with that avatar of the Ordos Mechanicus !" spouted Delane.
"yes, mister! ", said Whitey as she steps from behind Vance donned in the same uniform as him.
"It is 'Sir' girl!", shouted Delane.
Vance's face at that moment : ಠ_ಠ WTF

Convinced it’s some kind of new psychological warfare initiative, the squad leader forces the men to push deeper and deeper into the Vietnamese jungle, obsessed with locating the music’s source.
