Along on his way to rent a carriage Vance reads info about his contractor. His contractor is head of the village that resides few kilometers away from the kingdom he is in.

After talking to the man, he agrees to rent three eight-man carriages to Vance. With proof he is the leader of a mercenary band Vance receives 10% price discount on every type of transport in three empires.

Then Vance discusses to meet the man in front of city's gate with his men. After the end of discussing Vance went to a place without people to summon a squad of the imperial guard.

The moment Vance presses summon button a huge gate appears in front of him. Men donned in imperial guardsmen outfit armed with laspistol and lasgun start to march out from the gate.

26 imperial guardsmen 'VI' printed on their left shoulder pad stand in front of him forming three lines of 8 men.

Two men without their helmet armed with chainsword and laspistol step forward while one of them holding their regiment banner. The men stand before Vance saluting and introduce themselves.

"Corporal Thorne of regiment 6th Canadal reporting for duty sir," said the man on the left.

"Corporal Rudge of regiment 6th Canadal reporting for duty sir, sir here is our banner, " said the man on the right as he presents the banner to Vance.

Vance receives the banner and puts on his backpack hole for holding a banner. He knows the importance of the banner and his role of sergeant.

Vance summons two Heavy Stubber and two handheld grenade launcher and commands the two Corporals to arm his men.

"I have command of god emperor. So men prepare for a long fight in name of the emperor and spread his name on this filthy world. But as the kindness of the emperor, we will not kill any non-believers without my command. MEN DO YOU UNDERSTAND? !" Vance said as he straightens his back and fixes his uniform.

"SIR YES SIR!" all men said at the same time with a loud and clear tone.

A few minutes later.

"Boring !" said a gate guard of Dranait Kingdom, he starts to count people entering through the gate. But suddenly he notices there is a group of men dressed in strange armour marching to him led by a man dressed in the same armour with an unknown flag on his back.

Seeing the expression on the men in strange armour the gate guard almost pissed his pants, he's just a junior guard there's no way he can handle pressure like that leaking out from a battle-hardened imperial guard who knows the real meaning of sacrifice for an emperor.

If it is a normal armed group that go through the gate he will try to swindle some money using the kingdom as an excuse but he didn't even dare to flinch at their sight while they march through the gate.

After they leave the gate guard-flops on ground

"What a heck was that ?" he doesn't know where they come from but he knows this is the first time men holding guns looked this intimating.

A few days later at the village Faygate.

Village's head received news that three mercenary band carriages arrived in front of the village's gate and are requesting to enter.

Oswin already arrived before Vance so he discussed with the head that he will complete the contract for half of the price in exchange for not letting Vance enter the village.

From the tower, village head observes the carriage. First, a young man wearing armour armed with weapon looks like a gun along with an unknown banner on his back.

Then followed by a little girl with white hair and a round ball like monster beside of her. Seeing this the head of the village knew the young man is Vance, the one who sold his pride of Arcadia to a gun.

But before he commands the guard to let the gate close he notice many men start to step out from the carriage forming the rank in front of the young man and little girl.

"Nobody said he commands this many men" Village head quickly commands guard to let Vance enter and prepares to receive him and his men.

On Oswin side

Oswin created a band from children of nobles he knows. In his band, there is five magician six warriors and two rangers. All of them are a noble family's second or third children that don't receive an inheritance.

Oswin and four mages cast three fireballs and two earth javelin aiming at a group of bandit's.

'BOOM' with explosions five bandits die from a fireball and three bandits are nailed to the tree by earth javelin. The remaining bandits from explosion try to flee but are killed by the rangers and warriors.

"Haha so easy," said one noble wearing plate armour as he swings his mana enchanted sword to one bandit, the bandit tries to block it but the sword just cuts the bandits head off with his sword.

"Ak!" two bandits drop on the ground with an arrow pierced through their throat, the last bandit drops his sword on the ground and flees.

"Let him go he will call the others" Oswin held one mage's hand to stop him from attacking.

All of them are very happy after the fight because of the taste of power, they began to boast to each other about how many bandits they killed.

"Hey! Oswin you said there is a trash that made a bet with you ?" one woman with brown hair asks.

"Haha does that commoner really think he can compete with us." another warrior holding an axe on his shoulder said with a tone possessing thick disdain towards Vance.

"Don't worry about that bug how can he single-handedly clear a goblin nest. So how about we compete with each other to see how many people we can kill?" said Oswin with a smile

On Vance side

*BOOM BOOOM BOOM!* many explosions happen in the middle of a group of goblins that are rushing to the hateful humans that surrounded their nest.

A goblin rushes to the humans but before the goblin screams a red light blast apart his arm after touching it and the last thing the goblin sees was a red light coming to his head.

Some goblins try to flee but all of them are mowed down by Heavy Stubbers. And some stubborn ones ripped apart by armed minions.

In mid of slaughter, Vance screams "For the Imperium, purge those green skins" and leads his squad to slowly surround the goblin nest then starts to kill any goblin he sees.

"Please spare us we will stop kidnapping humans, we will go back to woods and live a quiet life please spare us," said chief goblin along with some goblins who show their children to Vance.

'They will spare us just like last time' Goblin chief smiles in his head and continues to plead when he sees the humans stopped firing red light from their weapons.

"Will you really stop doing evil ?" said Vance as he steps out in front of his men.

"Yes Yes Yes I will please spare u-" before goblin chief finishes his words Vance points his laspistol to chief's head and said

"The Only Good Xenos is a dead Xenos! PURGE THEM" and presses his trigger.
