Delane ordered "Cadet Vance you will learn military exercises, weapons proficiency, hand-to-hand combat and combat vehicles"
"Roger Sir!" said Vance
"As for you young girl! Your body is as tough as a Chimera because of your ability however- " Delance points Whitey
"Yes Sir," Said, Whitey.
Delane "You will study under tech priest Magos as an Artisan, Engineer and will then do combat training under me. "
A man donned in a rusted red colored robe holding Omnissian Axe appears beside of Delance. Every part of the man's body had many bionics implants and many robotic arms with a tool connected to the man's back along with his hands.
"By guide of the Machine god. It is my honor to teach, our knowledge to the forgotten goddess," said Magos after scanning Whitey's inside while shaking her hand.
"I have much to teach" after saying that Magos teleported away with Whitey.
Then another kind of hell for Vance began. Only thing that comforted him was talking and hugging Whitey before they slept every night.
First month.
At morning after simple exercise Delane started to teach military drills and the units that Vance will be commanding. Especially the psychology of special soldiers and regiments. And the duty of a commissar.
" Any Psyker related to the Astra Militarum is a great asset to any situation but beware there is always a chance their mind can't handle the influence of the warp and making them fall for the false temptations of chaos making them an enemy of the imperium. In that moment you must execute them immediately to prevent them from harming your men and also for their own benefit as well. Make them die as a man serving the emperor, not as a crazy lunatic, traitor or worse a servant of the warp. " Delane explained the role of a Psyker to Vance.

"You presence represents the will of the emperor during a battle, to your men. What is your duty? as a commissar Vance!" shouted Delane with a militaristic tone.
Vance answers "Maintain the morale of the troops and use any means necessary to ensure the loyalty and moral purity of these men including executing incompetent officers."
"That correct you must not show even a drop of fear while facing any kind of force. But you must also have the duty to not let any of your men die in vain especially when your an assigned commissar on a regiment like the Death Korps" said Delance
Three months pass.
Vance goes onto the practice field to study and use another of the infantry weapons made by Imperium including some of the black market ones. Delane let Vance use weapons in many states from freshly out from factory to ones used by bandits and marauders.
From one gun with a master crafted mechanism to a gun that gets's jammed after one shot.
The weapons proficiency training had three parts.
The first part was weapon dismantling and assembly within a given time. Vance almost fried himself with an energy cell of a melta gun while assembling it once. While thinking of that close call passed the worst was when Vance almost cried at the danger when he began working on a plasma cannon but he didn't know there was also Eradication Ray training after it.
The second part of the training was that Vance had to resolve a weapon problem that he could meet in any kind of situation. He must unjam projectile weapons, resolve energy cell leaks, and fix overheat from energy weapons during an extreme situation like in amid a cloud of poisonous gas or under water. Every time Vance thought he died in many different kinds of situations, but he always awoke from electric shock from a servitor skull or a punch to his gut.

The third part of training was a target shooting competition with any weapon Delance chose if Vance lost then he would receive a punishment. Vance didn't bother to keep count of his losses after his count passed 266.
After weapons proficiency training, Vance started Close combat and hand-to-hand combat training which was more like a spar against Delance himself and he showed no mercy in his ruthlessness against Vance.
Vance tried every trick he knew against Delance but none of them worked. One time he got the chance to use a weapon during a long-range weapon against close range weapon scenario he used a short fuse grenade launcher against Delance but he deflected it without any fear with nothing but a combat knife.
After the combat training, Vance went to heavy physical training that pushed his body past the limit. He marched 25 km with his uniform along with 70kg of equipment. Vance almost felt blood in his mouth.
In the last two months.
Vance learned to operate and command a crew of combat vehicles except for super heavy and titan category weapons because he was no where near a high enough rank.
"This is a Basilisk a mobile artillery vehicle of every regiment of imperial guard you must learn to command the crew of this artillery piece in one week," said Delance with a sadistic smile.
Vance already learned to command men so with some confidence he quickly said "Attention!" with loud a commanding tone to the crew members of the Basilisk.
The crew of Basilisk continued on as if they didn't here him.
Again Vance called them to attention with a loud voice but still, there was no response. With a dumfounded face, Vance got closer to the members of the Basilisk and again he cried 'ATTENTION'.
A few moments later one member of Basilisk screams loud "What! did you say something ?"
another one screams "NOOO! DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?"
Vance "........"

The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.

Shift (Ben 10+DCU Fanfiction)
Omnitrix+ DCU, what's not to like? The main character will not be Ben Tennyson, rather someone from our world who gains the Omnitrix Hello! This fanfiction Shift is what I wanted to do for an homage to what I thought were underrated pieces of media, Ben 10 and some DCU characters. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t add context to two of the major works that inspired Shift, Dial, and A Practical Guide to Evil. Dial is another ben 10 fanfiction, however that story takes place in the MCU, and with an adult that is already a grown-up at the beginning of the story. Dial, by my own accounts, is more superficially Like shift, even though the Omnitrix is a central device in both. My protagonist starts out around 18 years old, so is less serious and can build relationships with some of the junior justice league members, and then later on in the story meet the Justice League officially. The tone will be more light-hearted at the beginning of the story as teenagers are known to use sarcasm and jokes at each other’s expense. Furthermore, in Dial, the protagonist has a well-developed knowledge of the MCU which he uses to have knowledge on events and characters, that the character in Shift will not have. While the MC will have some knowledge of people's abilities, lesser-known characters and people's real identities will be not included as much, but the MC of Shift will have some knowledge. APGTE's influence is deeper than Dials'. The epigraphs at the beginning of every chapter are an example of that, a place for light-hearted jokes and worldbuilding that's not pure exposition, but I also want to incorporate narrative stories to Shift (heroes win more than lose, providence, etc) on a lighthearted scale. While the heroes of Shift will have to work to win against villains, the MC of Shift will be allowed limited precognition, through narratives tropes and archetypes as a trade-off of less knowledge of the DCU. For example, a villain a hero faces might monologue, but the MC will not instinctively know how to counter every villain they encounter. I also wanted to bring in more realism than usual superhero stories, ie: the MC cannot just walk and have a meeting with Batman or Superman, he would have to “work his way up” in terms of credibility and whatnot. The Aliens that show up in Shift I tried to make different than the ones in Dial, just to share the love for lesser-known characters. And to make it fairer for the villains of the DCU, the main character will not wantonly use if gain at all an Alien X or a ben 10 form of Kryptonians, just so the characters have to work a little bit for victory. I urge anyone reading to consider checking out both APGTE and Dial as they are both amazing works, and I hope you enjoy them. The beginning of how the MC enters the DCU will not be as important as him actually existing in that universe, so that is why a ton of time is not spent on that part of the story. Chapters will be around 2.5 thousand words and come out around every weekday.
