Seriously. What was the city thinking?
I looked over at the group frolicking around together.
To think that most of them would die in this dungeon.. So there's only five people to look out for right? I looked over at Benedict, his sister Mitsuha I think? Katie and ... wheres Dominic and Matthew?
They said the dungeon was actually a B rank. And even if it elevates to an S rank, I'm confident enough to be able to keep them safe.
But why bother putting them through a life and death experience just to grow? Sometimes I wonder what the higher ups are actually thinking.
Dominic and Matthew should be back from the Dungeon by now. I mean, I heard he had experience with even A rank dungeons, so getting out of a B rank one shouldn't be all that hard is it?
And Dominic.. a descendent of the hero huh? Thoese three siblings? They should be stronger than the rest. However, Dominic apparently hasn't shown signs of awakening any sort of pisonic ability yet.
I still remember the higher ups rejoicing the day their blood was tested to enter the city. And to think it matched with the hero. Three random orphans who appeared out of the forest. They were able to survive through it at such a young age as well...
Katie and Matthew. Descendents of the 13 genesis holders. To think a day where ordinary me, comming from none of these grand things would be protecting this kind of potential. How ironic. I used to hate these kind of people. Born and blessed with everything.
I remember taking the head of a king where I was borned and raised in.
As I looked at the youths play by the river, fishing, cooking the fish... some students made me join in as well. Maybe I was also looking to let loose as well.

Yet, as the moon arosed from its slumber, Dominic and Matthew had yet to return.
"Has anyone seen Dominic and Matthew?" I asked around.
When they all shook their heads, I panicked. No way right?
I hurried towards the dungeon. I noticed Benedict following as well.
Oh god. Dont tell me.
To my horror, the entrance was sealed. This is no mere S rank dungeon. Its at least an SS.
"Tell the group to stay there! I'm going to call for help!" I shouted at Benedict.
"And do not EVER touch the door" I added a warning. If they were to do so, they would be thrown into a random floor of the SS rank dungeon.
"What..." Benedict was shocked. But he realised that I had no time to explain. So he just nodded.
What a good kid.
3rdPOV
Benedict went back, and called out to the group, telling them not to touch the entrance of the dungeon.
They bodyguards apparently understood. They just nodded and told their protection target of its dangers.
"So.. you're telling me... Dominic and Matthew is trapped in an SS rank dungeon?!" Usagi was shocked.
"Wasn't this a D rank dungeon?"the group muttered.
"They're gone..."only depressed messages were comming out.
"Well...Dominic has always been lucky... so he'll be alright right..?" Mitsuha said something uncharacteristic of her intellectual nature.
"...yeah.. I'm sure his alright" Benedict patted the head of Mitsuha who covered her probably crying face with her hair.
In which to this, Benedict could only hold back his tears.
Meanwhile Dominic and Matthew had just cleared the 3rd floor.
"This floor has alot of plant monster things that shoot zombies" Dominic told Matthew to note it down.
"Sure~" Matthew replied.
Slowly but surely, Matthew was losing his common sense.
"We gotta mark down for when they come in later after all" Matthew lost his sense of danger.

But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.
