Next upgrade will definitely be Radar Sense, I am tired of having to stare at large rocks to see if they move and then if they do, I have to sit there hiding while focusing on that specific spot for longer than I care to admit to. Like right now, I have spotted a suspicious looking rock, And I am pretty sure I saw it twitch. I focus my glare like I lost my glasses. It seems about basketball size and is very grey it blends it so well I could really mistake it for a rock, but it seems to be a shell. It's another hermit crab, a very filling hermit crab, it seems to have gotten camouflage of some sort. I have gotten better at dodging since my last fight with one, so it shouldn't be too hard dodging the slow pincers.

I go in behind the hermit crab and roll up its shell. It doesn't notice me, I wonder why? These hermit crabs must have very thick shells. I reach the top of the shell and I wait until it comes out, it never does, so I roll back down and pick up a rock before coming back up. I throw the rock down to the front of it and, the SNAIL?! shoots out like a harpoon at the rock and attempts to eat it. I bet I could outrun a snail if this turns bad, I mean I hope that speed was just a one time thing.

I jump down on top of the slimy body and stick my spikes into it, I drain the slug as it still tries to eat the rock, eventually it notices my presence, it must have pain resistance to not feel the drain, that is definitely a double edge sword, as it will never get stunned but, it won't notice a little ball sucking it dry. It goes back into it shell and I crawl back on top before repeating the process of rock throwing, it works and I slowly suck it dry until it dies.

Wowowowow!! That stupid slug was above me in evolution, that means if I got hit by that harpoon shot that it shot at the rocks with, lets just say it would have been a 1 hit K/O, thats what you get dumb slug for wasting all your Biomass on one attack that only works on dumb things, which to be fair is mostly everything in here besides me, but the power of the human mind can do great things.

I can evolve now too, I think I should probably try to tread a path toward becoming at least somewhat human like, to try and reenter society, but as of right now this is a dream of my little ball body, I don't even know if any humans exist in this world, but I am willing to take that gamble.

I make my way back home and open the shoddy bone door, nothing falls out ‘this time’, I make my way to the main area and plop myself down and listen to GladOs read my evolution options, I could just read them but, I like her voice.

GladOs also explained to me, not what I really wanted, which was detailed info on each evolution, but instead gave me detailed info and what the evolutions affect. I mean come on I am just guessing what these things are gonna look like, Sludge suctioner seems very slimish, Rock Lasher is probably a smaller version of mother, Nightmare Suctioner... honestly I have no idea but it has the best name at least. And Lola Fetus, what the hell even is that am I going to turn into an actual fetus. Ahh, but it has (special) next to it and endurance, and I don't know too many fetuses that are marathon runners, so probably not the same thing, I hope.

(Agility+)- An great increase in speed, reflexes and/or flexibility

(Shifter+)-An Increase in the power and speed of the flesh.

(Power++)-Greatly Increases the power and strength of your body.

(Psychic+)-Allows the host to influence others minds; directly linked to how strong hosts mind is to others

(Stealth+)- An increase in the host's ability to become one with their surroundings.

(Endurance+)- An Increase in Hosts ability to survive in harsh conditions.

(Special+)- Grants Tier 1 to the Mutation Shop as well as a discount on all Mutation Upgrades.

They all seem good except for the Rock One I'm pretty sure that one was one my mother took, I wish I could have seen more of my kind to actually know what the difference is, actually I wonder how it chooses my evolution or is this all the evolution my species gets. I don't think so because a psychic ability would be useless for my species except for me I mean they literally throw their own children to their deaths, how could something that dumb have a psychic ability. I would bet imaginary money that it is dependent on what we have accomplished and would you suit for evolution. If that is the case then, all my brothers get my mothers evolution path if any manage to get to lvl 5, which is doubtful given their treatment, since I guess that is something inheritable.

Also, the special is really interesting: a straight up discount and access to a mutation store, this could get very very interesting. I am obviously choosing one with Shifter because I want to work my way back to becoming humanoid and that takes out the Nightmare Suctioner, that only leaves two left. Ehhh, who am I kidding, it must be ‘special’ for a reason. I hope it doesn't actually turn me into a fetus, at least the one I'm thinking of… ehhh whatever it said the endurance was higher, so it is definitely one durable baby.
