I have come to a startling realization. When I started writing this I had no direction. There was no planning ahead or set timeline. There were no jokes about the rock secretly being amazing. There was just a cynical and bored narrator. The problem with Just a Rock is that I was too serious. I wanted it to develop into something. When in reality, it was already that something and it developed into something I didn’t want.

“The novelty wore off.” I could not be any more wrong. I wore off. I am the problem. Just a Rock is no longer dropped. Just a Rock isn’t just a story. Well, it is. HOWEVER, I will revive this story and give it the glory it deserves. It’s 10:30pm where I am. I have classes tomorrow. My classes aren’t until the afternoon. That gives me a little more than 3 hours to kick this into overdrive. First, I will find out where my story lost steam and cut it off like a tumor then the rock will continue as unplanned. V3 has hyped me up and I will channel that hype.

Of course, I won’t delete the tumors completely. I'll have them in a Gdoc and put them in a spoiler somewhere once I figure out how to use them.

Yeah, that’s half the damn story. And I apologize to those who dutifully made comments on those chapters. Chapters deleted, now to start writing. Maybe write more than one chapter and try to stock up?

As for the user that wanted me to write a serious story, I have 3 serious stories with outlines set up for them. I just need to hit inspiration to get them written out. However, I struggle with keeping on track when it comes to serious stories.

TL;DR I deleted chapters 15-24 and will be resuming from 14.
