CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE
Will I ever have the power that I want or need?
~
The big Horn Bear’s confusion didn’t last for very long
And though Twig’s dagger found its mark, its hide was much too strong
He’d thought to stab it in the neck and did so with great speed
But this was not a job for one as weak as him indeed
The Horn Bear turned its head as the attack had caused alarm
And when it did, it’s horn hit the boy squarely on the arm
The side of the horn wasn’t sharp but with the heavy hit
Twig flew several paces, though it only hurt a bit
He checked his left arm quickly and was quite surprised to see
Even though his shirt had ripped, there was no injury
The Horn Bear was the next to charge before Twig was prepared
But as its massive form approached the young boy wasn’t scared
For some reason he found the confidence to simply stand
And met the charge of the great beast with only his right hand
With all his strength he pushed back at the charge of the Horn Bear
And though it was unharmed he managed to stop it right there
It roared and kept on wrestling against the hand of Twig
Who realized he’d just held back an animal so big
It backed away and charged again, but things would go the same
Twig stood resolutely against every charge that came
Beneath Twig’s feet, two craters formed from the force of the blows
But still he held his hand out to repel the Horn Bear’s nose
He’d never stood as close as this to such a big monster
But even his friend’s pet dog once pushed him in the river
Achievement: ...
This just isn’t right, even if I never cursed you

This is not something that you should be able to do
Though you’ve trained, this sudden power up can not be right
If I didn’t know better I’d say you rigged the fight
Twig himself was also unsure what was happening
Had he made so much progress while he was still training
Or was his new status screen to blame for how he got so strong
Or did his brush with death do something to help him along
Another roar reminded him that he was not safe yet
The Horn Bear wouldn’t give up soon once its target was set
But this time Twig did more than push it back with his right hand
He kicked it and it flew so far it took a while to land
The Horn Bear stood up slowly with its head clearly in pain
But Twig felt fine despite feeling a little muscle strain
He felt intoxicated by the power he controlled
He felt just like a hero in a story being told
He ran toward the beast at once to deal the killing blow
The Horn Bear tried to stab him but its movements were to slow
Twig punched it so hard that he snapped off its largest horn
And noticed that the skin on his fist was just slightly torn
The Horn Bear groaned as it lay on the ground beneath the boy
Twig had always dreamed of such a moment to enjoy
He looked down at the beast and for a moment met its eyes
He’d always wondered what it looks like when a monster dies
Knowing that he should put it out of its of its misery
His eye began to blur and he suddenly felt dizzy
He stumbled back and tripped over a rock and hit the ground
Aside from ringing in his ears, he couldn’t hear a sound

Valley of Titans' Tales
In a realm of fantasy, filled with great wonders but also dangers… Its inhabitants are tied in a cruel wheel of destiny, as darkness and corruption prowled the realm since its very beginning; to corrupt and deform them to the point of no return. The Gods and Goddesses’ mortal creations: Humans, High Elves, Amanis, Barakas, Castanics, Elins, and Poporis were blinded by their own nature and desires for centuries. Thus, their short-sighted ideals and racial barriers led to long, constant wars between themselves, destroying all possibilities for peace within the realm. And when they finally realized their tremendous mistakes, they can no longer undo their mistakes, no matter how much they tried, as they slowly fell into the crude gears of destiny. Except, when all hope had been extinguished and all possible solutions were swept away by the hands of darkness… ...An unknown black-haired magician bestowed another chance to this realm overwhelmed by the darkness, by turning back the hands of time. After time rewinded, opportunities revealed themselves now within arm's reach… The next step needed to save the realm was someone to take ahold of those opportunities. But…none remembered even a sliver of the bleak future, mildly drawing near to them like a spider closing in a helpless prey. Will they be able to change the bleak future? Or will history repeat itself again, as if destiny itself is taking charge? Based on the MMORPG The Exiled Realm of Arborea, Valley of Titans Server (TERA). Ur Online
Wulfric Blackwell was his name, or at least the one he'd use this time. He really had no idea what his real name was. All of his memories had disappeared after an eternity in the Void, but the disembodied voice that called herself Eve said that's what he called himself in his last life on Ur before a technical error that sent him into that place where time and space meant nothing. If he wanted to remember who he was, then he'd have to play the game. Hopefully he didn't die again too soon. [LitRPG] + [Isekai]

Ambition [Indefinite Hiatus]
Hunger, poverty, and suffering rampages throughout the world of Terra, as its seven great nations remain locked in a draining stalemate. In the midst of all this, Eremus and Ducis, two insignificant boys born with nothing, to nothing, develop a grand ambition to conquer the world and rid it of the concept of war forever. Eremus is proud of his cunning, and is confident that it will serve him well in achieving his shared ambition with Ducis. However, now he must match wits with the greatest minds of the land, and he may find that he has bitten off far more than he can chew... Note: This is a story I wrote when I was in high school, and have only recently moved it here to Royal Road. It was my first stab at writing an original fiction of my own, and though I had many things planned for it, I don't think I'll be continuing this now or in the forseeable future.

Conquest
Out of nowhere and a time that no one could remember, the dungeons came to be. Bringing with it wondrous new into the world but also equally dangerous terrors lurking within its corridors. Of the countless said to have spawned from nowhere, 5 had risen to the challenge against the human species. The rest destroyed due to their own weakness, only these 5 still stand in this era and each ruled by 1 great family. And now, a fresh adult male would soon join the exalted ranks of those that brave the dangerous corridors of the dungeons. Aiden Smith, the soon to be a S ranked Adventurer. If only that was true, perhaps life wouldn’t be so hard. Inspiration from domain warz and phantasmal party , very irregular releases and my first release, let the criticism begin! Pics not mine.
