《The Alteras Games: World Jumper Book 2》Chapter 20

Jet stood in front of the mirror, seething with rage. She calmed down after a few minutes. "Stix said he could make something to suppress the curse. Calm down." After a few deep breaths, she fully calmed down. After carefully examining her body, she decided Amanda was prettier than her. She let out a puff of air. "How did my hair even grow down to my ass unnoticed." Then another thought occurred to her. "How come the silver dye extended with the hair."
The door Jet had locked flew open, and Fiona walked into the room. "Ford, you ready," she stopped mid-sentence, looking at the girl before her. "Ford said he didn't have any family. You have a lot of resemblance to him, and why are you standing naked in his room?"
"I sleep nude. But more to the point, I am Ford." She groaned.
"Right," Fiona said questioningly.
Jet pointed to the curse over her heart. "Stix's random curse at work. He told me there was a trigger, which must be sleep. But he didn't know what it did, which turned out to change my sex, and now I hope the next time I sleep, I go back." She paced a bit, testing the body. "This body feels funny. I want mine back."
"I've not heard of that curse." Fiona had seen many in her life, but none like this one. "I'll need to be sure this isn't a trick. Is it alright if I let Stix come over?"
Jet shrugged, "sure, he can confirm I'm Ford. This curse should be proof enough."
"Ok, but let's get you dressed first. I don't think your old clothes will fit." Fiona walked over to a table and used the phone. Jet finally realized that she was completely naked and getting cold. Which she found odd since she had got magic that hadn't been too much of a problem.
Jet walked over to the mirror to check something. "Fiona, isn't all my scars proof enough that I'm Ford?"
Fiona walked out of the giant closet with a dress and looked Jet over. "Yeah, your right. But just to be sure, we must confirm it is you."
Jet pointed at the dress. "I'm not wearing that. Pants and a t-shirt will be fine."
"I already called Stix over, and he is next door. So put it on." Fiona somehow slipped the dress on with one fluid motion.
Jet trying to get away, slipped and fell, catching her foot on the dress. "Fiona, when Stix gets here, ensure I don't kill him."
"I hope you don't kill me." Stix had entered the room already.
Jet got to her feet, glaring. "You would deserve it at this point. But I did promise not to."
"Who are you?" Stix asked in puzzlement.
"Your stupid curse. I figured out what it does and the trigger all in one night." Jet screamed.
"Wow, if you are Ford, you sounded just like a girl there." Stix flew back as Jet punched him across the jaw.
"Ford, rules clearly state you can't hit another contestant out of the ring. Stix could have you disqualified for that punch." Fiona grabbed and shook Jet.

"It's fine. His girly hands barely hurt. But I verify that it is Ford. The curse is mine." Stix rubbed his jaw. "But for my own safety, I'm going. See you at breakfast."
"Ford will be eating breakfast here. I've got to put a new uniform together before the match." Fiona complained.
Stix stuck his head back into the door. "Also, another good clue that is Ford is his arm or her arm is missing."
"Stix does make a good point. But enough about that, get on the stool." Fiona pointed at the stool that Jet had not seen brought in. That's when he noticed all of the others waiting for him to work as well.
Jet pointed a finger at Fiona. "Just remember, I'm still a man. Do not make me look any more girly than I was last time."
"Trust me, Ford, that is the point in us and showing the contents off. So yes, you are going to be dressed very nicely. Ladies, let's get to work." As Fiona talked, Jet was backing away from her.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, are you ready for the first rounds of the games?" Gegol yelled over an intercom, and the crowd went wild. "There will be a wild surprise in the first round. Ford, please enter the arena." The crowd was loud as they cheated until Jet walked out of the south entrance. Then there was a lot of whispering. "Believe it or not, it has been confirmed that woman it Ford. A roulette curse used by Stix during the qualifying rounds has caused Ford to change his sex." Jet looked as red as a tomato. It was not that she was blushing from her looks. She was so mad at the situation that anyone in her way had better watch out. "Now, her opponent, the one, the only, houzer. An eight-time winner has come out of retirement to fight again." The arena shook at the announcement.
Jet was waiting in the middle of the field. She calmed down a little. Once Houzer was done fist-bumping, the air Jet asked. "Nice to meet you, Houzer. I've got to ask, are we going to the death or just going for a knockout." She didn't finish when she saw Houzer's face.
"Your blood will fertilize the ground soon." Houzer went back to rallying the crowd.
Jet got tired of watching him and wanted to go to bed and end the day. For multiple reasons. She didn't even get to pick her number, not that it mattered since she was given position one and Stix eight. So it's not like she had missed much, except the part where all three of Stix's family volunteers were on her side. That isn't suspicious in the least. 'What the hell happened to my home?' Alex screamed that in Jet's head. 'Oh hey, what are you doing, and what's with the new look?'
'You tend to pick the worst time to wake up.' Jet senior over the memories to catch her up.
Alex decided it would be a good time to come out and help until Jet put her right back in. 'This is no time to,' she got interrupted by a punch to her missing arm. It had not healed fully yet, and it had hurt quite a bit. Enough pain that she fell to the ground, and Houzer kicked her in the ribs as well. She felt like the guy was all over the place. Jet knew if she didn't get out of this soon, she would probably get killed. Houzer had the muscle to back up every blow.

'Jet, are you ok?' Alex asked when the beating stopped.
Jet opened her eyes to find several knocked out Houzer's, or not quite knocked out Houzer's. There was a rock golem standing over them.
"Damn, I must have been hit hard. I see at least ten Houzer's."
'Sorry, I couldn't sit by while you were gang raped by one man.' Alex said.
'Alex, please don't say it like that.' Jet got back to her feet, wincing. "So, you planned to fertilize the ground with my blood. You made the mistake of your life." Another golem formed behind Jet. She activated her magic sight and gave an evil grin. 'Go long, Alex.' With her magical sense active, she grabbed the real Houzer with the Golem.
"So, you all want a show, fine," Houzer screamed as the golem broke his bones, making him into a ball.
Alex's golem reached for a rock bat that formed in front of her. Then she took a batting stance. 'Give me a fastball, Jet."
Jet's golem wound up for a fastball. "Hope this is entertaining to y'all." She was hoping with this showing, they would think twice about killing her. The golem threw Houzer, and he screamed as he zipped through the air. It didn't take long for him to go silent once Alex hit him, splattering him all over the crowd. The crowd, needless to say, went completely quiet. Jet couldn't help herself and yelled. "Are you not entertained?" Jet was mildly surprised when he heard clapping. Of course, it had to be Lord Joy again.
"That was absolutely marvelous." Lord Joy had a grin on his face, and everyone started to clap with him. Jet knew everyone else was clapping just because of him since nobody was cheering and looked as if they wanted her dead.
"The winner is Ford." Gegol finally announced.
'Wow, she is a bit late.' Alex complained.
'Tell me about it.' Jet took a step to leave the arena and almost fell. Her body hurt all over.
Alex's golem took her by one arm. 'Why aren't you using body enhancements?'
'Some of my magic isn't working. I can't use my body enhancements in this body for some reason. May need to practice with the spells a bit to get them working, or better yet, never be in this form again.' Jet complained as he walked in and leaned on a wall.
Alex let the golem fall apart and got back into Jet. 'So, you don't like being a girl?'
'Yes, and I hope that when I fall asleep tonight, I change back.' Then Jet planned never to sleep again unless Stix came through with a way to suppress the curse.
"Ford," Fiona come running up to her. "How bad are you injured?"
"On a scale from one through ten, I'm at a twelve right now. But no need to worry. I'm used to being in pain." Jet rubbed her side, hoping the rib didn't break. 'Alex, are you staying up for a while?'
'Not sure. I don't feel tired. But I have been sleeping a lot lately. By the way, what's with the castle?' Alex asked.
"Castle, what are you talking about?" Jet asked out loud.
"Yeah, Ford may have a concussion as well." Fiona grabbed Jet's hand and hurried off.
Jet tried to keep up but tripped along the way. She did not know why she felt so weak. With an effort, she stood back up with some help from Fiona. "Geez, this body is too weak."
"Can you not feel anything? You've lost enough blood. You are going pale." Fiona grabbed Jet up to carry her. Jet wasn't too sure when, but she lost consciousness at some point.
Jet partially woke up and saw Tija. "Looks like he is coming to now. So how are you feeling, Ford?"
Jet sat up, and the first thing he did was look at his hand. It was not girly looking. He sighed in relief to find himself back in the right body. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to say goodbye. Oh, and to give you this." Tija held out a hand with Amanda's ring. "I created an illusion of the ring, so you will have about a week before they find it missing."
"Who are you?" Jet asked.
"Use your magic sense. I'll let you see who we truly are before leaving." Tija stood up and went to stand by a man he hadn't noticed in the room.
"This is a bad idea." The man shook his head.
"Oh, shush, everything will be fine." Tija dropped all her illusions, letting Jet see them both for who they were, Lily and Almark. "Still, use your magic sense."
Jet's memories of his unlocked past come rushing back. Both of them had been there when his parents had died. He used his magic sense on them and wanted to run away. The magic pouring out of both of them was monstrous. If compared to his, he was a pebble in a pond. "Who are you guys."
"Well, that's rude. My name is Lily, and it should be a recognizable name since you gave it to me. As for Almark here, you should meet him soon enough." Lily walked over to Jet. "I never did get to properly think you for saving me." She reached down and grabbed Jet's hand. "So think you, Master Jetsford." She kissed him on the forehead and walked back over to Almark.
"You don't get a kiss from me. But, later, man, see you in a few ish years." A gold grandfather clock formed behind Almark. He waved, and they both disappeared.
