"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."

"What kind of developments have you made with your quirk?" When Dabi asked this question, it made you think.
Why the fuck were you on an abandoned runway strip with him training you?
You raised your hand lazily, not even answering his question before saying, "I'd like to request to train with Kurogiri."
Dabi sighed, cursing to himself before he muttered out, "And why is that?"
"Not to call you insane, but he's the most normal out of all of you. Also, you're insane."
"Does your soulmate even like you yet?" Dabi asked, stepping back and rolling up his sleeves. "You're pretty annoying."
"Joke's on you, I've already gone through that character arc," you said before sighing. "Anyway, why can't Kurogiri train me?"
"Because he wasn't willing to accept a hundred bucks of compensation from Shigaraki. I, however, did. I also decided that I could get a bit of information out of you while I was at it."
You huffed, "Whatever." You saw him rolling up his sleeves and cracking his knuckles, and you eyed him carefully. "Aha. . . Watcha doin'~?"
"I'm gonna punch you."
He said it so casually that you had to play it back in your head to confirm whether or not he just. . . Threatened you???????????
"I—Wha—You—I—I—I—"
"I said. . ." He said, slowly stepping toward you. "I'm going to punch you."
"Is that a threat or a promise?" You asked.
He smirked slightly, stopping a few feet away from you and lazily holding up his fist, "Depends on how much more you piss me off."

You groaned lazily, throwing your head back, "What do you want me to do?"
"Create a weapon with your quirk." He said, and without warning, fully swung at you.
Your soulmate had been right. You were phenomenal at dodging. However, despite all the training Todoroki had given you, and all the opponents you had faced during the sports festival, nothing had prepared you for Dabi's intensity.
He was definitely quick, and so when you ducked his first punch, he was quick to hit you again with the other fist. The blow was to your stomach, which made you lose your breath for a moment. While you were trying to recover, he quickly grabbed your arm, activating his quirk to burn you.
He didn't set it on fire, but it felt like you had a boiling pan being held against your skin, so things were pretty damn painful. As a reflex, you activated your quirk, bringing up a huge block of steel and pushing it toward him, sending him flying back.
Dabi grunted as he skidded across the asphalt, and he quickly stood back up, shaking off his arms. Stalking toward you, he yelled, "Come on! I saw what you did at the festival with your soulmate. That metal and ice fusion that covered half the fucking arena. Where the hell is that, huh?!"
You glared at him as you clutched onto your arm, the burning pain not easing up at all. You knew what he was talking about. The scary-looking twisty-thing you and Todoroki had accidentally created from his ice and your metal while battling each other. It was terrifying to see, and you weren't surprised that Dabi thought you could create it again.
He stopped in front of you. "Why the hell aren't you using your quirk?"
You glared at him harshly before saying with a shaky voice, the pain of your arm still very present, "I'm not going to use my quirk against my school."
Dabi huffed out a humourless laugh before leaning in and saying in a low and threatening tone, "You don't have a goddamn choice unless you want your aunt six feet under."

You felt your heart begin to race, but not in fear. In anger. Pure rage.
He smirked, seeing the glare on your face get harder. "I heard about how she came to look after you, by the way. Parents died tragically by a murderer? She was the only one willing to step up and do something? What are you gonna do when she—"
You wanted him to shut up so badly.
So what did you do? Form a sword? Lol, no, that's old now. You did the next best thing.
Dabi looked down at the sledgehammer in your hands. Then back up at the look on your face.
Then you swung.
The fact that he was able to dodge you pissed you off to no end. You wanted him dead. Your aunt didn't deserve any of this shit. And he was the cause of it!
You got over to him at a speed at which you had never travelled before. You had arrived quicker than he expected, so he wasn't anticipating the kick to his leg. He fell over, landing on his back. Taking this chance, you swung down as hard as you could.
There was a loud crack.
You were breathing heavily, your eyes closed as you tried to calm yourself down. Opening them again, you looked at the head of the hammer, lodged into the asphalt directly next to Dabi's head.
He was smirking up at you, "Perfect little hero student has got a violent temper."
You punched him square in the jaw.
Ignoring the dull ache, you mentally thanked Aizawa's rushed advice to you back during the USJ attack.
Dabi chuckled, "Interesting."
You just shook your head, choosing to ignore it when your annoyance flared up again. "Whatever. What the fuck do you want me to do now, bitch boi?"
He got up, ignoring the bruising on his face and looking up at the sky. You frowned, about to look up, when your heart stopped.
You heard an aeroplane.
Shooting your head up, you saw a small plane, one students were usually taught to pilot in.
You aggressively shook your head when you noticed Dabi's knowing look. "No. No no no. I'm not taking down that plane."
"You're taking down that plane. If the student and/or instructor dies in the process, too bad. Get over it."
You shook your head again, looking away from the plane. "No. I'm not doing."
You blinked, and Dabi's hand was around your throat. You could already feel it beginning to heat up.
"You take down that fucking plane now."
You would have just let him hurt you there, but your mind instantly went back to your soulmate. You shut your eyes tightly, fighting back the tears. You missed him. For the first time in your life, you wanted him to look after you. To just hold and protect you. To just drag you away from this monstrosity.
But he couldn't.
Letting out a shaky breath, you held back a sob as you looked back up at the passing plane. You reluctantly focused all your attention on it. You heard the loud creak as you bent one of the wings, and you shut your eyes as you heard it begin to fall.
After a few moments, there was a loud bang and a crash. You were hoping they made it out alive.
An explosion. That's what you heard a few seconds after.
You felt sick. You felt completely and utterly horrified. You just fucking killed two people. Two innocent people. A student was just trying to learn how to fly a goddamn plane. And now they're dead because of you. The instructor having met the same fate.
You passed out to the sound of Dabi laughing maniacally to the sight before him.
