"Our universe grants every soul a twin -- a reflection of themselves -- the kindred spirit -- And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other -- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love."
- Julie Dillon

Todoroki was in class. He didn't want to be. He wanted to be with you. To hold you and reassure you and protect you. To just sway with you calmly, whether that be under the stars, in your rooms, or even in the middle of the classroom. He didn't care. He wanted you safe. He wanted you there with him.
Todoroki had been paying close attention to whether or not he could feel anything on his body, monitoring whether you were injured. He felt a tiny ache in his pinky toe at some point, and despite how much he thought he should have panicked, he calmed down, coming to the conclusion that you had just very likely stubbed your toe.
That had been the only thing thus far. So when his arm started to tingle and burn, like someone had put hot sauce on it, his mind immediately jumped to fire. Your arm must have been burnt. And it wasn't a stove burn. It was like fire had taken ahold of you. He couldn't possibly know exactly what it was due to your pain being dialled down for him, he knew that. But in that moment, his mind was on constant alert.
Then the pain stopped. Suddenly. It didn't die down like it should've. It just stopped. And that sent him in a frenzy.
The school day hadn't started yet. There was still ten minutes until classes would begin, and so only half the class was inside, chatting among themselves.

Meaning he did draw quite a bit of attention when he suddenly stood up from his chair, the seat scraping obnoxiously loud against the ground. Everyone turned to look at him for a moment, and only a few people's gazes remained on him while everyone else hesitantly started talking again. They knew Todoroki wasn't doing well due to you not being in the safest place.
It was three members of the Bakusquad that had decided to approach him. Kirishima, Mina and Kaminari seemed quite concerned. Todoroki was just staring at his arm in pure panic, and they had no clue why.
"Todoroki?" Kirishima asked, placing a careful hand on his shoulder. "You alright, bro?"
Todoroki was quick to respond, speaking so fast that they could just barely understand him. "My arm was burning, which means (Y/N)'s arm was burning from fire, but it just stopped."
"Okay. . ." Mina said, talking to him gently. "Wouldn't that be good that it stopped though?"
"It didn't stop like it was being treated. It just stopped suddenly."
"It all just cut off completely?"
"Yes. I think she might be dead. What if she's dead?"
All three chimed in at the same time, urgently interrupting Todoroki's panicked words. Once he stopped, Kaminari spoke up again, "Todoroki, if (Y/N). . . Well. . . Di-Died. . . Then I think you would know."
"How?"
"Well," Kaminari said, leaning back against the edge of a desk, "I read an article." He ignored Mina's 'oh Jesus'. "It was about this person who had. . . Lost her soulmate. She had even married her and everything. One day, this lady is cooking in her kitchen. Her wife comes in and says that she's going out to work for a few hours because one of her clients had come in earlier than expected and her work called her in to deal with it. She worked as a mechanic."

"This lady keeps cooking. It had been twenty minutes since her wife had left, which in now way was an issue because it would have taken her around an hour to repair what needed to be fixed on her client's car. But then suddenly, this lady who's cooking, suddenly feels what she could only describe as the harshest snap. Not in any specific place, just everywhere. All over her body, physically, mentally, emotionally. She was only able to describe it as any and all positive emotions just being ripped away from her. Her body felt like it was tugging in on itself.
"And it was that same time that her soulmate was murdered by the client. The client had come in earlier than expected not to get their car done, but to kill her."
Everyone was silent, and even Todoroki had stopped looking at his arm, now looking at the ground solemnly. "That poor woman."
"Todoroki, what I'm trying to say is," Kaminari stood up properly, now eye-to-eye with the boy, "(Y/N) isn't dead. If she were, you would definitely be experiencing much more painful things. She's probably just fallen asleep, or, and I hate to say it, passed out."
Todoroki didn't like the idea of you passing out, but it was definitely much better than thinking you were dead.
He slowly nodded his head before looking up at the three. "Okay. Thank you. Really."
"We're always here for you, man," Kaminari said, patting him gently on the back. "You ever need help chilling the fuck out, let us know."
Todoroki cracked a very small smile, and they kindly smiled back.
When Mina and Kirishima went back to their desks after giving their own encouraging words to Todoroki, Kaminari stayed behind. He leaned in close, lowering his voice, "We'll find her, Todoroki. None of us will ever stop until we do. Just know that."
Todoroki saw the pure determination in his eyes and believed him. He believed the whole class would be willing to help you. He had no doubt about it.
Todoroki looked back at Kaminari, before firmly nodding his head, "I know we will."

Touch me like you do
"Listen you jerk, I wouldn't have even touched you if I wasn't drunk." I bit out furiously. "Even if you were the last man on earth I wouldn't go near you.""Is that so?" His voice was dangerously low."Besides I thought you were my fiancé. That was the only reason why I kissed you." I lied hoping my face didn't betray me.His eyes darkened and a muscle jumped on his jaw. He started walking towards me and I took a step back. Then another step and another until my back hit the wall. He was so close I could smell the cologne he wore.Fear trickled down my spine as I stared at his furious face. He looked as if he wanted to punch something. Or someone."What..what are you doing?" I stammered pressing my body further into the wall."Calling your bluff."His hand wrapped around my nape and pulled me against him. My eyes widened in shock as our bodies touched. Before I could say or do anything his mouth came crashing down on me.
